livie sidlauskas it’s all depends, especially on where you’re applying and when. For example if you don’t mind working in fast food and need experience, they are always hiring. If you want a retail job, they prefer experience so again fast food might be the way to go for a few months but I would recommend applying when you know the place’s big holidays. I applied at target for Christmas season and got kept on but places usually have multiple seasons where they need extra help. Also depending on how badly you need a job, if you can wait or want a specific job then go for it! Also availability is a big thing, most places won’t take a second look at youre application unless your available four days of the week (flexibility can be the make or break). When I was applying to jobs I put four days I’d be available and started receiving calls for interviews the next week.
