MAUI TRAVEL VIDEOS. Steve is a long-time Maui resident, Hawaii-certified Professional Tour Guide, small business owner, travel writer, photographer, videographer, and aspiring UA-camr. He specializes in Phone Photography, using a Samsung Galaxy S10+ and Galaxy S8+, Zhiyun Smooth 4 Gimbal, tripod & monopod, a lavalier microphone, and a wireless remote shutter release. He also uses a Canon 90D with a variety of lenses.
Steve uses a variety of photo & video editing software, including BeFunky, XARA XL, Filmora 9 and several others. He also uploads stock photography to Shutterstock. Music is from UA-cam Audio Library.

Just saw you being interviewed on the news about the horrible fires on Maui. Heartbreaking to see you doing this video on Front St., knowing that much of it Is burning now. You said on the news report that you didn't know where your wife was yet.Praying that you both come through this safely. Praying for everyone on Maui!

Aloha Kevin. Many thanks for watching. Yes, the Food Trucks are getting really good. For sure go to the BIG Food Truck Courtyard in Honokowai, just down from Honua Kai resort. Easy to find. Few suggestions: Snorkel Black Rock. Visit Whaler's Village. Get a Mai Tai at Monkeypod Kitchen at Whaler's Village. Go early. Airport Beach is really nice. For sure up north a bit: Napili Bay & Beach. Kapalua Bay & Beach. Just a few ideas. Yes, I hope you'll watch as I leave July 6th for Tokyo and then to Hong Kong. And on from there ...... great insights. what time would be good to find a shade near the food truck?
Aloha Oahu_ Many thanks for watching. Most have some shade under umbrellas or a tent. It's getting hot here, and until the sun goes down about 6:30pm or later, it's just hot in the direct sun. The food truck courtyard in Honokowai is getting even bigger. Let me know if I can assist you in any way. Best Aloha Wishes.
Thanks for the review. I wonder what time the trucks tend to close for the day? Are they predominantly for lunch time or are they open for early dinner time too? (I assume they won't be still open at 9.00pm- ish but was hoping they would still be there at, say, 7pm for an early dinner)? Cheers!
Aloha Gill. Actually, most food trucks don't open at lunch. It's always been a dinner time thing, as it's just so darn hot at lunch time. Lately, a few of the food trucks at the big Honokowai food truck courtyard are opening at lunch. You'll find all of them open (if they have enough employees) at dinner time. 7pm no problem. Aloha Mariad. Many thanks for watching. I shot that Ka'anapali Beach Hotel. I am the Security Officer there. KBH has been sold to Outrigger and will take over the property on July 26th. Very sad and a lot of employees have their heart broken. Many changes and a $60M renovation coming. Best Aloha Wishes.
Not all restaurants are good. $80 for pupus at Happy Hour is a bit too much!! Can't wait for your videos from your upcoming Asia trip. When are you and Patricia leaving?
Aloha John. Always good to see you and thanks for commenting. Yea, I should just say "We Won't Go Back" and leave it at that. My "Celebration of 70" is a solo trip. Patricia just got back in March from 2 1/2 months in Thailand and had a "girl's trip" with her friends. She can not leave work again. Plus, this is "My Trip". I've been planning it since November. I leave July 6th for Tokyo and then to Hong Kong. I'll be posting videos each day of my experiences. Hope you'll watch. Thanks and Best Aloha Wishes.
