The artist merely traces the silhouette to produce the image. Depending on time of day, the position of the sun and the flatness of the wall, the model's shadow may appear elongated. That's why you have these mysterious elongated beings. They're just distorted shadows.
That dosent make any sense. This drawing are really proportionate to a "shadow being cast" in a cave nor would they need a "model" to pose for something that they MAY have actually seen.

J Allen Hynek investigated witness sightings on behalf of the Air Force, dismissed many as "swamp gas," as he was paid to do, which is how that term became associated with UFOlogy, and then later became a believer after speaking to enough witnesses. He also later became a technical consultant for Steven Spielberg on Close Encounters, which may have then led to Spielberg's inspiration for ET. That may have been based on real witness accounts, same as the greys.
You see these old drawings of dinosaurs because the world isn’t ancient like we’ve been led to believe. Dinosaurs/dragons roamed the Earth with humans.
