Your explanations and drawings of how a play will work really help me understand how complex these plays are and how good the players are to make them work. This is good stuff.
That last play shows his teammates trust in Purdy. He waved to the receiver to go to the left and then hit him perfectly. 6!
Purdy also had the most pro bowl votes out of any player!!! He's just about to finish his first full year!
nice review. I didn't realize until now what it means to have five receivers moving within the qb's visual field with only a couple of seconds to decide where to throw the ball. Wow!

There is 1-2 seconds after snap where the defense shows Brock where to throw. His reads and delivery are ridiculously simple looking. Defenders have to bring far quicker pass pressure and stunts on throwing downs. Ravens and cowboys did this. Brock never panics so the risks are still reduced, but there then are more three and outs. Then it becomes a time of possession and dominant niner defense exercise. What amazes me more than anything is the success he has had in "off schedule" or broken plays. His receivers go into a different mode and the crazy fun starts.

Purdy or CMC not really being considered mvp candidates after a single game is kinda wild but is probably better for the actual goal of hoisting the lombardi. Just leaves the team as the focus heading into playoff time. Let 13 or 23 get the SBMVP

I have been a 49ers fan since I was a young boy. Although my faith in the team has been tested in recent years, I still stand proud to be a 49er. With the addition of Brock Purdy, I am so excited to see what the future holds for the team. I no longer have to hear the "Oh, it's a building year". We are built. Purdy has brought that spark back to the team. I feel a new 9er dynasty on the horizon. I know I am saying it is a Purdy time right now. In all fairness, we have a complete team now again and I am so proud of the guys. I am just bursting with pride and bragging rights that haven't been there for some time. I always say 9ers AALLLL THE WAAAY TO THE BOWL. As of late I really mean it. GO 9ERS

There have been some forced throws to McCaffrey and Debo, usually short, in-breaking choice routes, that have been dangerous. I hope the Niners break these tendencies bc you know playoff teams will be focused on them, as well as the Digs to Aiyuk

Great breakdown as always. However, only the unFaithful doubt Purdy. This cat has what it takes and anyone who follows the NFL can see it for themselves. He's got 4 losses this season? So what? He also has 12 wins, the #1 seed and is the leading vote getter for the Pro Bowl. They trash him because they either didn't see him coming out of Iowa St and they're embarrassed by that OR they don't like the Niners with our history of success and they're simply jealous. Whichever it is....Go Niners.

Difference is the Ravens defensive coach had a great game plan and the players to execute it. The Commanders, not so much.

Don't forget the 9ers drove Balt. down the field - Brock was a little aggressive and made a bad decision on the end zone INT or more 9er pts would have been coming. Not saying 9ers would have won the game, but it's amazing how one TO early can chnage things. And, to lose by two scores while giving the ball to the other team, 5x is a testimony to the 9ers fighting. Can't wait to see Balt.. again in the Bowl. @@gunner-qf9eh

When the team recognized him for breaking the franchises'all-time season passing record . He said it best. This is a testament to his offensive SQUAD. Everyone is doing their job . Protection, blocking , and they are catching everything thrown at them , even the not so good passes. He acknowledges that fact, and they appreciate his recognition. Mahones is great, but his squad isn't performing to their ability, and it shows. Quarterback is only as good as those around him

I think it is a possibility we may see "The Catch" be re-made with a different cast if the Cowboys play the 49ers for an NFL championship.

The Niners were nervous against the Ravens. Those nerves are gone and I'll be seeing you and the others at the 49er's Victory Parade in February. SB LX at Levi Stadium. This team reminds me of other 49er teams with Montana, Rice, Craig and Taylor. But better. Give any 49er a step on a defender and Purdy will throw a dime and 6 points just like that. Nothing could be finer than to be a 49er Monday morning.
Credit to the Ravens for completely dismantling Purdy's strategy. They structured their secondary more intelligently vs. the Niners than any other team that's gone up against them, and that's why they won. The speed & size helps of course, but it was the tactical level of the game where Baltimore really shined.
If they face Baltimore again in the SuperBowl, it's going to be a very tough matchup.
Kyle was pass happy which worked that first drive until they got to the end zone. There wasn't enough run in the gameplan but you not smoking Kyle twice. They see the Ravens again and it will be different....

Purdy's stats are significantly better, but MVP is more than just being a statistical marvel.

Like in any other pro sports sometimes games are fixed for the purpose of winning.i personally believe this last cowboys/lions game was a fix,why?? Simply because the cowboys are the team that was established as America's team,and no "Lion" is going to change that ....
All well and good. The real issue is: can they step up their performance against another team that is as talented as they are?
No one In the nfc is as good as the ravens, I hope to see a rematch in the superbowl and Purdy gets his revenge

5:10 I get the praise for Purdy. But be accurate in your descriptions. That throw to Kittle was not “perfect” and “on the money.” It was thrown behind him and a big reason Kittle couldn’t hold on.
He had to put the ball there to protect him from the hit, if he leads him right there Kittle might’ve been put on a stretcher
Also want to put it out there, 49ers didn’t show their hand against the ravens, we used a vanilla playbook. It was obvious 🤷♂️ Makes sense considering the ravens have shown their hand against every team, willing to bet the house ravens don’t even make the Super Bowl, regular season champs.😂

The Ravens game is a good example of a high pressure game and in my opinion Purdy choked, it's play off time so will see if lack of experience will show it's ugly side or not. He capable of handling himself and I think they will prevail.

Lifetime niner fan. I'm the only one who thinks he's a fraud. Not buying the hype. We already went through this last time with Kapennick. Gets to the show just to lose it. This is Kapennick Part II. If Purdy can even get to the bowl. Even his name is sus and stupid.
You are completely wrong on that first play. That throw was clearly intended for Deebo and it was underthrown by at least 10 yards. Aiyuk just happened to be paying attention and bailed him out of what was very possibly gonna be an easy Washington pick. Purdy has a TON of plays like this that he gets bailed out on and that's why no one with any credibility believes he is a star nor that he is nothing more than a massive liability to arguably the best roster in the NFL. I'm sorry, there's a reason 261 people were picked over him.
The 49'rs are playing pretty well, but the other teams are doing very well, too. Let's not forget that the 49'rs lost a few games, too.
Josh Allen throws 15 to 18 picks in games every season no one is questioning his ability and asking if he's the same guy
