Every single time I listen to this cut I cry. Sometimes more than others but every time none the less. The power of the entirety of my childhood in 3:27 seconds is overwhelming to say the least...
When I say LBP created almost my entire career, I mean that literally. I am an artist who dreams of being an animator for a cartoon I want to produce, and LBP has helped me with proper character and story design. Some of my very first characters were designed on here, and I still find that old "Thunder strike" skin nostalgic as that was what I used to create my very first character of that series. So many levels in the community inspired me to create my own stories, tell my own tales, and seeing how much _I_ enjoyed those levels, I wanted to bring that same feeling of joy to others. I wanted to make people feel something, wether it was happiness, sadness, anger, I wanted to create something powerful enough to make people feel for a 2D character like those creators had. Granted, I was less than 10 at the time so of course all of the levels I made were the absolute worst, but it was the inspiration that counts, and now I'm still planning those same cartoons, working and doing my best to continue my career to the fullest and make it onto mainstream media. Right now I'm small, and back then I was even smaller, but I'm determined to make these dreams come true someday. Thank you for the memories LBP, and thank you for being there in my youth LBP community, I promise you all that one day, I'll Get It Together.
that's awesome! i know you'll make it. ur amazing! i'd love to see your work! looking back at the levels i made when i was younger, i'd laugh because they were so bad! ur gonna do so awesome!
They announced a new sackboy game called (Sackboy A Big Adventure) coming out for the ps5 it’s like LBP but it’s a 3D platformer instead of a 2D platformer game
This album formed an essential part of my becoming an adult. It represents fun evenings hanging out with my friends, late night video game sessions, and memories of summer. I'm so glad this music exists, thank you so much!
It's a recorder actually, not a flute, and the mystery sound is a super-processed beat sample. The Go! Team is super unique in the way they mix live instrumentation with samples and electronic production. I can't think of any other group that mixes a wider spectrum of production methods.
I never get tired of this album. I can have it on repeat an entire day and never get fed up. I think its one of, if not THE best album ever made. Simply amazing
Unbelievably good. Even this many years later this song still makes something inside of me come alive. It's incredible what you guys have achieved with such a seemingly simple sound. The childlike innocence just feels like a definitive yes to being alive.
little big planet...never gets old. not only was it a huge milestone of my childhood but it introduced me to such a fantastic band like this. would never take it for granted
dude 2:44 hits so hard not remembering its their until you hear it, the amount of memory's that flooded in within like 5 seconds is insane i love this song so much
I don't think a song so perfectly captures the carefree feeling of being a kid in the 2000's as much as this. It's only as the years have gone by that I've realized how special that decade really was. No matter how bad things get, I still have the memories of those years to make me happy.
With the servers of LBP 1, 2, and 3 officially shutting off for good on PS3 its given me so many emotions. I am devastated that a big and important titan in my childhood is forever gone and I will never see my old friends ever again. Yet... I'm happy, I'm happy that this game, soundtrack, levels, and community gave me so many fun times, memories, friends, and so much more. Would I do anything to go back and play one more late night of goofing off and being dumb with my friends? A million times yes, but I'm happy that I even met these people, got to have the best time with them. I just hope they remember it as fondly as I do and look back on it with as much nostalgia and glee as I. So here's to us, The Little Big Planeters! Never stop being creative, never stop being friendly, never stop. And to The Go Team! Thank you so much for making the first ever level of the game so memorable, you guys were able to do it by doing it the Little Big Planet way, by being yourselves and being creative. Much love and much more in the future!
Little Big Planet is gone, but it will always stay in the hearts of the community. And when something's in *_this_* community's hearts, we express it as the game taught us to. LBP Restitched anyone? Edit: IT'S NOT OVER :D
Littlebigplanets 1 and 2 will forever live in my heart as one of my favorite games of all time, simply from its creativity and inspiration for others to get on their creative side. Media Molecule was at their best with these 2 games. I found both amazing. Although nowadays, Littlebigplanet is buried in other popular games such as Overwatch, Rainbow Six Siege, Fortnite. But whenever someone asks me about some of my favorite games, Littlebigplanet is guaranteed a spot high on my list, always. Although no one will ever see this comment, let me just say that I will forever remember you, Littlebigplanet.
The good ol days of my sweet innocence. I loved and still do love this game and it will always hold a special place in my heart. To the friends I made over this game, the accomplishments of beating hard levels, the many wonders this game brought me. May the community keep going on strong.

I'm still of the hunch that Cartoon Network's The Amazing World of Gumball wanted to use this as the intro or was at least heavily inspired by this. Both British media too, and with somewhat similar vibes. so it isn't unlikely at all
I remember getting this game when I was 8 I'm 14 right now. I have remembered this song from I think the second level it is brought back so much Nostalgia to find this song again. I love Little Big Planet it is pretty much the perfect game.
I didn't play the original LBP. I discovered this through The Impossible Quiz 2. I was actually scared of this for years because of the "Where is this?" question and the Leonidas face flying towards the screen. It made me unable to watch things that featured it in fear they too would scare me because I had the IQ of a piece of moldy bread.
