  • Enjoy this little ride with my new Jaw Harp Cricket by D. Glazyrin. He's one of the best Jaw Harp makers. His instruments are affordable, good quality and sound very nice.
It's been a while since I've made a Music Video. I was very busy and the weather was wet and windy, which are no conditions for Recoding. Now Summer has come and I have more free time. I'm very Happy about that!!
    Thanks for Watching :)

Ive been able to play this instrument for many years, but only recently have I discovered this side of the jaw harp - the natural, spiritual, vibrational side of it. There is something special about this instrument - it spans the globe across all cultures. We all think it came from our culture, but the truth is, no one can pinpoint the origin of this thing. Its been found everywhere people have lived, for thousands of years. Im not sure if anyone here has seen what didgeridoos have been doing lately... picking up heavy rocks without touching them - the vibrations of a didgeridoo being played moves rocks, lifts them up, they literally hover under the bell or opening of the instrument while it is being played, then drops back down when the sound stops. The jaw harp has been around so long no one can trace its origin. I feel a connection to my past, or humanity's past, or something.. when i hear the jaw harp being played in a shamanistic trance-like manner. I wonder if there may be more to this instrument. Whats the reason everyone had one so long ago, across the earth? People are amazed by the fact that pyramids exist on different continents, but how about these things? Im not smart enough to figure out the answer, but I am aware enough to know that theres something special about this instrument. For now, Im going to continue to listen to these types of performances, and steer my own jaw harp playing in this direction as well.

Hey Bobby, glad you commented! I use the "Rode Stereo VideoMic Pro". It's made for DRL Cams and such, but with an adapter you can Plug it right into your Phone, like I did. I also Edited the Audio with Audition.

      Indeed a wonderful instrument.
      Thank you for the Appreciation.
I guess maybe 10 min. After extended play the Jaw Muscles get sore and you need at least 3-5 min Pause.

Is the audio edited? I hear some effects. Great vid, BTW. Just bought a "jaw harp" and learning the techniques.

Yes I always edit my Audio. I use equalizer to boost specific frequencys and I added a huge echo effect.
