You also can plant some tall bushes close to the limit of your property, creating a green wall, in that way you do not need to limit your vision of your backyard.
The dance breaks are important... 😆 But as that damp, TREATED wood starts to dry and settle in, it's gonna curl away from those nail brads because they have no head. So you're gonna want to reinforce with 2 screws on each side of each board to keep them from lifting and peeling away from the poles. I used leftover drywall screws - 13 years in the Texas sun and still strong as Day 1.
Drywall screws are made of carbon steel and not coated, they will rust in a heartbeat. Furthermore treated lumber will accelerate the corrosion. Do youself a huge favor and triple coated deck screws and replace your drywall screws.
PRIMING wood, especially for outdoor applications, before finish paint color also does wonders for prolonging the life of a project, That paint is going to peel up faster than a sunburn.
That’s really nice. And you could make it so many different colors. Glossy white would be pretty. Also if you make it sturdy you can hang plants on it. It’s look gorgeous and you get a ton of planting space
I love the simplicity of it. If I were to do this, I would've brought the slats halfway up, left a large gap to hang plants in baskets, and finished the top with 3 slats to balance the look of the bottom. That way, it wouldn't impede the breeze, it wouldn't look as foreboding as a solid structure, it would give me the opportunity to display something beautiful, and it'd still give me privacy from the neighbors' gaze.
She left plenty of room for plants to hang on the rest of the patio! And the breeze can still come through the gaps here since it’s not a solid wall. Could always put a climber on this though if she wanted to add something, but I think it’s perfect as is. Purely to give a bit of privacy 😉
That is what I did with my nosy neighbor, but it turned out to be anything BUT free! We became great friends and now we go out to lunch together twice a week! lol
It's quite beautiful! Great job on matching the color! I would have to take a pre- made lattice and paint it. And attach it to a frame if it needed to be temporary (as a renter would). Great job!

Awesome! Going to use this!! LOL @ your dance moves
Girl you ROCK!!!! I AM IMPRESSED!!!
You also can plant some tall bushes close to the limit of your property, creating a green wall, in that way you do not need to limit your vision of your backyard.
yea depending on the HOA she could do pine trees next to each other. It creates a green wall you can’t see through at all.
Magnificently done,sweety!!
PRIMING wood, especially for outdoor applications, before finish paint color also does wonders for prolonging the life of a project, That paint is going to peel up faster than a sunburn.
Don’t use drywall screws for anything other than drywall
drywall screws on an exterior wood job?.please ma'am stay focus on the kitchen you not belong to no even comment on a you tube video
Great job, girl!! 👏🩷
This is an inspiration. I want to do my patio but never did any work like that. I still may take a try.
That’s really nice. And you could make it so many different colors. Glossy white would be pretty. Also if you make it sturdy you can hang plants on it. It’s look gorgeous and you get a ton of planting space
I was like wait, how could you hold it up alone, and then I seen a person through the privacy screen 😂😂😂
I saw a person... i never did seen one
Nice, clean, simple and very nice. Good job Miss Lady❣️
You did a beautiful job. It looks wonderful..🎉🎉🎉
I was expecting screen mesh for the “privacy screen” but it looks good 😊
I love the simplicity of it.
Beautiful!!!!
🤩🤩🤩
Great job!!
👏👏👏😃
❤️❤️❤️
Beautiful, I can definitely appreciate this kind of work. Might copy
This is really cool but it’s the gap at the top for me 😂😂😂
?????
@@Lefishn think they mean it looks unfinished
I feel as though she did that on purpose... So it would be the same amount of space on top & bottom.
Just my guess though... 😉
Looks really great! It changes the whole feel of your outdoor space.
I think its a GREAT idea! Looks great ! Dance breaks 😂😂👍🏻 u r funny !
im suprised how well the color matches. nice job
Shout out to the person who helped evenly space each piece. Nice work. The view of the woodsy area looks great.
Wave at your neighbors every time they look at you. Great way to insure your privacy and it’s free 😂
Oh no. Doesn’t work. Then they come over and want to tell you everything their kids are doing. No no no.
Lol. J/k. I love my neighbors.
That is what I did with my nosy neighbor, but it turned out to be anything BUT free! We became great friends and now we go out to lunch together twice a week! lol
Are you out of your mind?! Wave to a neighbor when you’re sitting outside is basically inviting them to come hang out with you.
@@tnijoo5109 and?
@@texasred2702 and then you’d probably have to move away to recover from the subsequent social interactions or get a prescription for Zoloft.
It looks awesome. You did a great job.
Hon that is great! You did such a good job. 😃💗
That patio as a whole looks very nice
I think your fella did a great job.
Looks much better than my 48ft tarp!!! 🤣 amazing job!!!
You knocked that project outta the park.
It's quite beautiful! Great job on matching the color!
I would have to take a pre- made lattice and paint it.
And attach it to a frame if it needed to be temporary (as a renter would).
Great job!
Incredible ❤😮 Great place for a flower vine too 😊
Looks awesome ❤ Brava, Queen.
Girl, you are fantastic!!!!
