- Recently we had the priviledge to meet Rosa Salazar and Robert Rodriguez, the star and director of Alita: Battle Angel.
Rosa had never even been to Asia before, and it was Robert's first time in Korea also, so we took this opportunity to really spoil them with Korean BBQ and some top quality Korean Beef~
I don't know if they had ever tried anything like Korean BBQ before… or what they were feeding them in their hotel interviews… but they were LOVING it!! Had to keep ordering more Beef and Soju😂

I feel like this was just a genuine meal between people who are getting to know each other, rather than an interview. It's so refreshing
That's how interviews should be, it gives that "human feeling" kinda just like Hot Ones
Despite the a few egomaniacal "stars" ruining the reputations of people in the industry movie people are ALL like these 4. The reason Ollie and Josh get the absolute best out of the stars in these interviews is they all have worked for nothing, been kicked in the teeth, fought to get what they worth. My sister has worked with some of the top people in the business like Peter Jackson, kenneu Reeves, Tom cruise and they are mostly humble genuine people. My daughter is a few years behind Rosa at 29, actress writer director etc. Worjs with passion and loves what she does. Can see her in Rosa, who would happily work for your low budget film, sleep on the couch and give it all every time. They like the jolly duo have the rare privilege of loving their job and making people happy.

알리타 배우 로사 진짜 성격 짱인듯!~ 한국에선 배우들이 좀 고상한 척 하는 경향이 있는데 가식없이 있는 그대로 즐기는 모습이 그대로 보임. 감독님도 두분 모두 완전 호감!! *참고로 메이즈 러너 시리즈 진짜 재밌게 봤는데 알리타(일본원작만화영화)에서 나온다는 거 알고 깜짝 놀람. 알리타도 다음 시리즈 기다리고 있어요~

@Rock Roll idk where you got that notion but him adding salt doesn't necessarily mean the beef isn't good

Most beef barbeque restaurants in korea serve just unseasoned meat, and people here eat the meat with salt bowls provided for each person, so that is the natural way Koreans eat beef.... Josh was trying to introduce culture and probably chose the traditional and general korean beef restaurant, not an American fused one. There's already western korean fused restaurants in America, and guests are Americans, why they should go there?

I’m glad that Josh explained how in Korea it’s not unusual to feed other people with your own utensils even when it comes to men. I know it’s something that I was quite fascinated with when I first started to hang out with Korean people in the Philippines. It’s like a very affectionate and thoughtful to witness. I think we can all learn a little something from that small gesture.

There was such professionalism with the way you handled Rosa and Robert, you were respectful with them and not push them to not do anything they don't want to do. I just rewatched this because I love and missed it so much.
Hope you guys get a chance to interview Rosa and Robert again some day, they were so relaxed and just enjoyed the moment and the food, that's like a nice breather for all celebrities. I feel really bad when they have to go from interview to interview answering the same questions or are put in really uncomfortable positions with people's weird comments/questions. So this is really nice to see :')
