I love how Becks is such a foodie and how he’s not a self centered person - asking about Josh and how he got to being a UA-camr. For such a big star and for having been in the spotlight for so long, he has always maintained his humility. While there were some issues with him when he was younger, he has really distinguished himself as a good ambassador for the game in general.
yea I also loved that, he treated it seriously you know, cause I understand many people still don't know how and what is essentially a job of a "youtuber" but he was so respectful and cool about it, loved that.

I have never watched anything with DB but he’s quite a gentle and kind soul. Very appreciative, very complimentary and it speaks volumes that he asked Josh so many questions about himself. He seems like a genuinely kind and decent human. Love to see it.

Josh, you are so pro it’s unbelievable. You not only hold the atmosphere and make everything entertaining whilst one of the biggest stars in the world is sitting right next to you, but you manage to cook and serve a perfect meal without missing a beat. I swear one of the best interviewers alive. If you have ever sweated any of these moments you haven’t shown any of it on your face or in your body language for a single second of any of it. I mean you can entertain David Beckham better than his grandmother could.
He is soo humble.. usually celebrities like him only want to talk about themselves, but with Beckham, he asked questions and really starting conversations with Josh rather than just being interviewed..

I reckon he was very intrigued by the fact that two Englishmen have a huge following in Korea, speak the language and are basically the ones introducing Korean food to him instead of locals. He was probably briefed before the interview hence the immediate questions. Also Josh had a lot of questions too. He actually had a lot more than usual. He usually just eats with the guests and talks about the food with some simple questions here and there towards the end but here he has a lot of questions from the get go. I guess he was realllllly nervous lmao.

I appreciated David Beckham more after seeing the British high school episode with the headmaster. Josh only put small amounts of food because he was warned that David might not even want to eat, but he did eat and enjoyed it
I think David genuinely wanted to eat more, but Josh was so carefully with the amount so David always had to subtly remind him that he wanted MORE MEAT and MORE SOUP.
I saw him at the airport when he was playing in Madrid, he took pictures with everyone without losing his smile...a perfect gentleman, kind and humble.
I never know that this legendary man is so polite and very respectful, and he talks a lot, and asking questions too, you know, kinda hard to have that kind of personality if you are that popular xD such an amazing man
Many people didn't know this, but David Beckham was never the most talented person, he was nowhere near Messi, Ronaldo, or Zlatan's level of talent, but Beckham was the most hardworking player. You would often found him practicing free kicks over and over and over until it curves the correct way. He just trained and trained and trained until it was perfect. That is why he was such a great role model. Dude knew his talent has ceiling, and he break through them through sheer will, and training.

Haha, when James Corden pulled a prank on David Beckham, he deliberately got one of the actors to repeatedly call him Dave, as David actually doesn't like being called Dave. He said to the guy "By the way, you can call me David. My mum's the only person who calls me Dave". But this absolutely shows how nice and down to earth David Beckham is. He clearly could see that Josh was super nervous and let it go and assured him he did not feel offended.

When he was here (in Singapore) he went to a hawker for very spicy Indian fried noodles and also I think he never fails to eat nasi lemak (fragrant rice cooked in coconut milk and pandan leaf). This man CAN handle spicy!
