Dark Eyes - piano instrumental

Dark Eyes is a Russian folk song performed here on piano by Auckland based jazz pianist and composer Ben Fernandez.
"Thinking of my Dad...my first piano teacher, mentor, guide, friend and definitely ..my Guardian Angel . This was one of his favourite tunes. He used to play it almost everyday".

Thank you. Yes Ive always played and experimented with different musical styles and genres but jazz and improvisation is what I love. I went to jazz school but its mainly listening and playing with good musicians and having a great set of mentors that has helped me on this journey.
