Just also have to comment with American Life…. For me this is one of her most underrated albums and one of my top albums of hers. I also have an emotional connection with it as I bought this from the record shop on the morning of release, I was going to the seaside that day with my nephews. I had to keep playing the rap part for them that she does in the title track. 😂 they loved it ( they were around 11 years old at the time)
Anyway last year one of those nephews was killed in a motorbike accident and I play this album now often as it reminds me of him and that amazing day we had listening to it during our road trip. ♥️
