Because even after the trailer we got another hint and it was with the advocate network message of the day which reads “Receiving Encrypted Message..Transmission To Pilot Failed..” the advocate network is by respawn devs. So why would they hint to something that’s already been revealed? It makes no sense. So it has to be something else

I think you have the best outlook on the situation so far. Yea, it's sad that all of this was just for a skin or character in another game, but it brought with it new players, game fixes and updates, and most importantly it gave Titanfall and it's lore a much bigger audience. When you really think about it, the trailer with all the titans and war wasn't for most apex fans but a homage to the titanfall fans

The part I'm upset about the most is the fact that conduit should have gotten cancer from touching that battery. Not superpowers. But I'm just salty, and wish that we got a 3rd Titanfall rather than apex. 😢
well I mean, Spiderman should have gotten cancer from getting radioactive spider DNA inserted into his body's cells, but here we are with 99% of spider-men, whether in the comics or not, not having spider cancer, but instead superpowers. Same with hulk and fantastic four. Radiation is a standard for superpower origin stories when it comes to writing. Also for a doze of copium, Titanfall is still receiving cryptic teasers and updates even after the reveal of conduit, which should mean that its entirely possible they're teasing something completely different that may or may not be more Titanfall related than Apex related.
It was a cheap way to give them abilities, dont get me wrong the story of the outland was good up to the moment she did that. Personally it makes no sense, its a stupid way to tie in her abilities to her and even a titan, like is she suddenly gunna have an energy siphon gun on her shoulder?
in terms of Titan lore the biggest thing (other than this) is Valkyrie one of the champions is the daughter of Viper from the Titanfall 2 campaign, he uses the Northstar titan that was destroyed in the campaign so his daughter Valkyrie uses the jetpack from the Northstar titan, there's a bunch of other lore and interesting things they added related to titanfall as well but very little in terms of Titans as far as im aware.
As a complete Titanfall 2 fanboy I just gotta say the community had a similar reaction when Valkyrie (an apex legend and daughter of a Titanfall 2 character) was teased and shown to have titan powers (conduit isn't the first), yet during that time the Titanfall 2 servers were still being bombarded by hackers/disabled and the game hadn't received an update for about 3 years. In contrast to now when the servers are fixed, the release date chain teaser of respawn, the updating of TF|2 gamemodes and the changing of the advocate network messages the air is significantly different..... We may not get a sleeper launch of the game but we most certainly will get some kind of reveal or confirmation that it is NOW in development.
I am not about to test the character limit in the UA-cam comment section. However, I am a bag of mixed emotions when it comes to Titanfall/Apex, but If Allen Wake can finally get his sequel I will hold out hope Titanfall will get some sort of continuation.
Still have a week for some kind of reveal. If they didn’t want people to get hyped for TF3 they would have told the community chill out it’s not happening, like in the past. They are letting us get hyped I hope for their reputation sake they don’t hang us out to dry.

Respawn or any dev who cares about marketing a game properly won't tease a game inside of another game of a different genre. It just doesn't make sense, and its a waste of time.

Then boom a few years later everything is fixed and being updated slowly. I wasn’t ever gonna give up then and I won’t give up now. I will standby for titanfall even if it takes another 8 years.

The problem with Apex is they turned Titanfall's universe, which was all about the march of technology and the right man (Cooper) in the right place, and made it all about beings with super powers. Totally makes the more military nature of Titanfall seem like a child's play thing

As someone who has over 8k hours in titanfall 2 I can come to terms without a titanfall 3 but I will never forgive ea for setting titanfall up for failure titanfall was ahead of its time and I’m happy respawn is finally doing something about the game.
