- Did you know this in Helluva Boss?
Recently fans have been discussing american dad and debating if it contains a helluva boss reference. Let me explain.
In the latest american dad episode, hayley joins a cult and tries to summon a demon to prove she’s not a poser.
On the scroll we see a picture of Stolas, and hayley says hes a cutie pie.
Vivziepop ended up seeing the clip, posting on bluesky that she hopes it was a deliberate reference because she loves the show.
So is this deliberate? Well maybe. Stolas and most of hell’s lore in helluva boss is lifted from a book called the lesser key of solomon made in the mid 17th century. That’s where the depiction of stolas is from.
When the clip was posted to tiktok it went viral. The american dad account even replied with a joke of american dad and stolas fans shaking hands, so the social media manager likely knows what helluva boss is.
Some other comments weren’t as positive, one example stating that helluva boss has ruined stolas and the ars goetia as a whole.
What do you think? Let me know down below.

I agree with Hayley that Stolas original design does make him look like a cutie pie
Owls in any accessory are, indeed, some of the cutest possible birds, of all cute birds, so it is a quandry
It's so funny how the actual Stolas doesn't even look terrifying or weird like most demons, instead he's just some normal cute owl with long legs and a crown
I'd honestly think Stolas would be embarrassed if he ever saw that artwork of him.
@@26th_PrimarchSame
what a long legged owl with a crown on his head
I absolutely loved it when I first saw it. Sad that some people just want to hate and make sure no one, especially themselves, can't enjoy anything they like.
Yeah I did that with mlp and Jessie when I was a child cus I didn’t wanna like what my sister liked 😂 idk what tf was wrong with me but now I just like what I like dislike what I dislike but don’t tell others to jump off a bridge just cus they like what I dislike 😂 like wtf
Yeah like the Jaiden Animations fandom!
I actually saw the episode last week and it completely went over my head as a big Helluverse fan, but now I see it and I’m so happy Stolas was featured in American Dad. Now I need to go back and watch it again.
The hate behind HH and HB is ultimately because the show is predatory, the creator is a drama queen, and the show is poorly written. Sorry that this so happens to be your favorite show. You don't usually see the same level of hate in other types of media. The new Saints row is basically HB the game, and it gets a similar level of hate
Honestly, thanks to Helluva, I now want to know more about the original lore of the Ars Goetia. Demonology has became quite fascinating. I see the show as a stepping stone to demonology and getting to know what the older generations fear/hate about it.
Hmmm, but where can I find something about demonology? Like, in the the book form or somewhere on the internet? I'm also interested in this topic.
Yush and fans need to be less woke. As creative freedom and its personal choice to like it or not.
Plus I actually wanna borrow the book and get some creative ideas as reference to my own creative fiction which is basically a planet loosely inspired by the Kepler planets, vapour wave steam and cyber punk. That has a fusion of magic and technology. Plus a bunch of unlikely misfits lol.
This is insane, there’s already drama for this?
Helluva Boss, Vivziepop's community in general actually, is just the astronaut meme.
"Wait, it's all drama?"
"Always has been." Pun intended.
Point is, we keep getting shot in the fucking heads.
There's drama for anything, tbh😔
like why even acknowledge them? just let them fester
Fr
Hmm
Imagine being such a dork that a different portrayal of a fictional demon in a show you don't like "ruined" the demon for you. These people need to focus on things they actually like, I'm begging.
To the person who said that Helluva Boss ruined Stolas and the Ars Goetia, I didn't know about them until I watched Helluva Boss, and I'm someone who is super interested with Bible and/or Apocrypha related things (coming from a Catholic, but I'm not that extreme with my religion iykyk)
I'm pretty certain more people know more about Zoroastrianism than the original Ars Goetia
Imagine thinking an indie cartoon ruined a demon that's been around for centuries 🙄 I hope they haven't ever seen Cow and Chicken, wait'll they see what happened to the devil
@@lulufan100I know right?! That show made Satan look like an absolute clown yet nobody’s dumping on that show (probably cause social media didn’t exist yet, but I bet if it did Cow and Chicken would get the same toxic treatment)
I'd say they're more on the Christian "Mythology" side since many of the lore sources are not from the bible but more imaginative beings from the reinassance era.
just because youre a mentally ill religious person doesnt mean that youll be aware of demonology
"Helluva boss ruined are Goetia"
You probably didn't even knew what it was before helluva boss 😭🙏
maybe that's the case for you but not everyone is as uncultured as you bro
@@jennyetamy4695 i’m heavy on religion and demons and I did not know what they were until helluva boss that still does not mean I’m uncultured😂
I think that the ars goetia is a Helluva boss specific detail. So whatchu complaining about haters?
@@jennyetamy4695 come on mate unless you were studying that stuff then it’s not exactly common bloody knowlege
@@dunsbrowelo not at all lmao, they were around way before helluva or hazbin were a thing
I feel like it's probably not a direct reference to Helluva Boss, or at least not just Helluva Boss
Dope pfp
@ thanks, you too!
I mean that’s what Viv said too. I read her original Bluesky and she basically just hoped it was because she likes American Dad
Yeah, theres a likely chance they just chose Stolas in particular cuz his "real" life counterpart looks very wacky
I mean as cool as it would be if that was a Helluva Boss reference I highly doubt it considering that drawing depiction of Prince Stolas the owl demon has LONG PRE-EXISTED way before Helluva Boss was a thing. Imo it’s just a joke based off of that goofy little drawing which is ironically an actual depiction of what Prince Stolas the demon is said to resemble and Viv saw American Dad reference what Helluva Boss Stolas was based off of. 👑🦉
Yeah but prior to Helluva Boss, no one summoning demons in a TV show is summoning the Ars Goetia. They're summoning some no name goat headed demon. Or Lucifer.
@@ReverendLeRoux it's still not a reference to HB though
@@ReverendLeRoux and on top of that, out of all the 72 demons in the Ars Goetia, they chose to use Stolas. Even if this wasn’t a direct reference to helluva boss, it still seems to me like the writers knew exactly what they were doing
@@ReverendLeRoux do you genuinely believe people didnt know about stolas till helluva?
I'm sure this is a helluva boss reference just on this clip alone.. the dad looked like blitz with horns and color plus necklace while she clearly looked like Loona/human version. The colors was there it was a clear reference
It's like I said on the TBS channel clip for that particular American Dad episode. While it's hard not to think of Stolas making a cameo in American Dad as a Helluva Boss reference, I think it's completely unrelated to the show
But whether it was related or not, It still would've been awesome if Hayley actually did manage to summon Stolas!
Ngl I’m suprised no one made an edit of her actually summing helluva boss stolas by mistake. That would be hilarious lol
I'd laugh if she tries again in a later episode, succeeds and we somehow get our Stolas in American Dad.
Would be funnier if Blitz was hanging onto him and starts a hang out with Roger, both dressing up, ending peoples lives, etc.
Roger probably would be like "okay I have a lot of jobs for you, I can do them myself but..."
In my opinion, it didn’t ruin the Ars goetia that much in my opinion it just introduced people to it, because I generally did not know who Stolas was before I watch the show
This feels like seeing someone eating Pizza in Spiderman and assuming its a TMNT reference
Pizza is... Just so much less niche than Stolas. Before Helluva Boss I had seen exactly one reference to Stolas, which was more than the average person. I've eaten pizza in multiple countries.
@@Iamtk777i’ve seen plenty of stolas references in media, specifically horror media soo it’s not really niche lol it’s literally from the lesser key of solomon(a very well known book about demons)
@vanillaranch Demonology is an inherently niche subject. Most people don't know the names of the deadly sins beyond Lucifer, Beelzebub, and maybe Asmodeus. Even Satan isn't generally known since he's usually conflated with Lucifer. So, pretty much exactly as would be expected, the niche reference is only common in its own niche. Because obviously horror is going to have demons. But this is like saying that Temperance is a commonly known Tarot card. Like, sure, if you read Tarot any of the Major Arcana are going to be obvious picks, but if you aren't into Tarot or adjacent subjects you probably have never heard of it because you only ever hear about Death, The Devil, The Lovers, The Fool, and maybe The Magician in typical media.
@@Iamtk777and? It’s still not a reference to Helluva Boss
@@alexbennet4195Oh my god, move on.
Insert the “I was told that there would be cake?” reference of Stolas at the cult sacrifice.
Saying "ruined" is crazy to me because, like, it's a book? It's a piece of literature. That's like saying that the adventures of Sherlock Holmes was ruined by all the stories that people made based off of the original stories.
God... sometimes it hurts to be part of this fandom.
Riiight! The original still exists, if they don't like later reiterations, just stick to it!
Just because something isn’t portrayed the way you like it doesn’t mean it’s ruined. It’s just not to your liking!
Helluva Boss fans learn that depicting the demon Stolas as an owl was a thing LONG before this show challenge (impossible)
😂 yep
TBF though, how common of knowledge is the Ars Goetia? They ain't even mentioned in the Bible, so anyone who didn't know about them before the series I think gets a pass. It's basically the same as not knowing who Hephaestus is because you never really looked into Greek mythology.
Honestly? Helluva Boss and Hazbin Hotel is the reason I know squat about Christianity outside of God, Jesus, Adam, and Eve. I'd never been interested in learning since I got personal biases against the religion (long story), but now this verse lead me into learning about who Saint Peter actually is and where the meaning of my name originated with Daniel. Not to mention the 6 Archangels (7 if ya include Lucifer/Samael) and seraphim. I never would've given a crap about learning otherwise, but thanks to this verse? I'm actually interested lol
Most fans who’d be commenting about this most likely know the Viv didn’t make up Stolas herself, but it’s also not crazy to think this incredibly popular show made this uncommon knowledge a helluva lot more popular.
Literally
Most, if not all fans of the show know that most of the demons are based on real demons, not completely made up🧍♂️
As someone who thoroughly enjoys American Dad, I got a kick out of seeing this. While I don’t necessarily think it was a deliberate reference, I still think it was pretty cool seeing an Ars Goetia in another medium
Genshin Impact is also another example. In that game there are many characters named after Ars Goetia Demons, with Paimon serving as the game's mascot and deuteragonist
Drama legit will start from anything 😭
Who would care if helluva boss did "ruin" stolas unless you are in an actual cult
Im entertained by Helluva Boss and Hazbin Hotel, which is something that rarely happens anymore
Jeez people are always so toxic
The person who said that helluva boss ruined stolas does realize that helluva boss is the reason why the ars goetia became more known.
I started laughing out of nowhere & I'm pretty sure my dad used to watch American lol
I loved this reference. And yes, Stolas is cute.
I find it really interesting about this and how American Dad hid this detail About Haley. It’s cool to see a Helluva boss detail inside of another animated show like American dad in my opinion but I think that’s just me.🌟💫😅
So you're telling me that the Ars Goetia had a *good* reputation before Helluva Boss
I have a friend who shares the view that the show "ruined" the ars goetia. The same way DnD ruined the minotaur by making it a species, that pokemon ruined the golems (Regis) by having them not be made of mud, and that almost every fantasy "ruined" dragons by not always having them as 6 climbed with 4 legs and 2 wings, because everything else is a wyvern, drake, lindwyrm, ext
I wonder if they had a reputation *at all* because until I saw HB I didn’t know Stolas even existed. I’ve never seen him mentioned or used in anything before this.
Not gonna lie the Helluva Boss Ars Goetia kind of suck. I wanna see someone do something with all the demons in the grimoire that's a food representation of them.
Not really, They’re demons.
😂
@@aleksabanjevic8316 i’m sorry but if somebody thinks somebody ruined something for them, then it’s just not for them. It didn’t ruin it. It’s just not for them.
I like how they're portraying the Ars Goetia, It's more human but they're still OP owl royalty of hell
My two favorite shows come together!❤
I love both shows too
if a separate depiction of a character ruins it for you, maybe you just thought it was already bad.
I think thats awesome they may have done a secret shoutout to helluva boss! They right he is a cutie pie!
Seth McFarland didnt even know what Fortnite was before he gave them the rights to his characters so I highly doubt he or any of his writers would know about helluva boss
Wow, no drama for once, just 2 shows maybe referencing each other in fun? I'm impressed
This is insaneeee
Da-da, da da-da-daaa, Da-da, da da-daaa! Da-da, da da-da-daaa, da-da, da-da da da-da-daaaaa! (Yeah!)
Some people forget that helluva boss have a lore extremely inspired in real (or not, depends on you) demons, but you can literally see that, Helluva Boss and Hazbin Hotel, is more of a society living in hell, then monster, punishment, pain, and other things, despite both have a little of those things... Because you know... Hell
dude theres nothing deep in lore inspired on both shows the only thing they use is the name and looks of demons for inspiration
@@dukcboy912 wrong... They use some lore of real stuff, Ars Goetia, the rings of hell, Lúcifer (Lúcifer is a little hard to call out, but I think they are using the Christianity version), the seven sins, Lilith... And a lot more. If you think they just pick the names and use, you are completely wrong, that why I said they pick some real lore, to use as "INSPIRE" material, they take some real base and data and uses like they want.
@Darksouls3600 you do know that Lucifer does not appear in the bible its a KING in the bible idk why they made that correlation same as Lilith she doesn't even exist in the Bible at all same as these 'hell rings" , they just use names of demons and make designs using their descriptions and simple duties that's it you clearly don't know shit and yet you claim they have rela lore?there barely any real lore is just a bunch of unrelated concepts melted together by dumb people
@dukcboy912 lol go do a search donkey... Lucifer appears at first time in the genesis story, let me give you some books for that little mind yours, go read a book called "The Lesser Key of Solomon", have lots of things about the Ars Goetia. About the rings, you have to options, two concept, Dante's inferno concept, and from another guy that made a concept about but I don't remember the name, and about Lucifer and the sins... Man... Just dona quick search about christian demonology, is not that complicated.
@dukcboy912 I found the guy name that make a concept about the rings and the seven princes of hell, his name is Peter Binsfeld, lots of people says that Vivziepop inspired the Hellaverse around those things, The Lasser key of Solomon, Binsfeld and Dante's inferno concept, the christian demonology and bible, and probably have more things. But the point is... It's not just names throwing around, they have some lore, is not following 100%, but have a little bit here and there. You can have lot of information about the universe by just... Reading a little.
I personally think that it wasn’t a reference, however American dad realized how it *could* be a reference so they’re playing it off as one
Helluva Boss: Ayo is that my references
American Dad: Yeah duh what else you thin-
Tiktok: THEY RUIN STOLAS AND GEOTIA!
*Stare*
American dad is STILL running?! I thought that shit got cancelled ages ago!
I'd say it didn't ruin the ars goita cause thx to this show I didn't even know what they were nor what Stolas was.
tiktok just DESPISES both helluva boss/hazbin hotel, i've NEVER seen such HATRED for a show
I dont think that the Ars Goetia are ruined. Helluva Boss is just a Cartoon and just adds some Funny Scenes and Jokes, it doesnt change the Demons itself from The lesser Key of Solomon. The only thing that they change is that they are giving the Ars Goetia and 7 Deadly Sins more of a Intresting look and a little Story in the Series. Nothing more and nothing less
I'd say the Ars Goetia and the lesser key of solomon is just Christian mythology that no one should really take seriously.
@@triadwarfareTBH as someone raised as a Christian, from what I checked the Ars Goetia isn't mentioned in the Bible at all. It's entirely a witchcraft/paganism thing
How did Helluva ruin the Goetia? They have been used in plenty of other media. Stolas has always been portrayed as an owl or simular bird with the long legs, and is one of the few princes that wants nothing to do with wars and is more interested in exploring the mysteries of the universe.
Let’s be honest to each other here unless your trying to summon satan there’s no way before helluva boss existed you have heard of stolas and the ars goetia
Exactly! Before Helluva Boss when has Stolas or the Ars Goetia ever been used in media? Seriously, tell me! Comics, tv show, movies, games, anything?
Still doesn't really mean it's a reference. If anything a niche indie show and it's dumb fanbase spread Ars Goetia rather than becoming popular as a work of fiction itself. I feel like the only reason people like Helluva is just because the characters are demons and other non human species'. They're just reskins of humans and are no different. If Helluva Boss was about human assassins then no one would care. I want to see a work of fiction that follows characters which aren't just humans that look different and have slightly different culture.
the Megami Tensei franchise
you hb fans are crazy, this is one of the most well known books about demons and has been referenced manyyy times, just because your twink demon show has stolas doesnt mean he didnt exist before
For your information the Vatican removed this from the bible, back then where the hell was media and all the internet that time? you only if you read the book then you'll know, And besides that was like thousands years ago those lost books people knew about them before the Vatican took control over the place, Look i respect your christian religion it's just there's lots of things that their hiding from you.
One of the best examples of books that the Vaticans removed is called the book of Enoch you can install it on your phone, or buy the one i have the book's called Cepher but it's a bit pricey my dad bought it.
Anyways the book of Enoch is a man named Enoch who is Immortal (Know i don't fukin' care if u believe this is fake! i'm just spreading true facts!!) So anyways he was too righteous that god took him out of earth and brought him to heaven with his literal body, at the age of 365 years old, same as the days of a year right? there they'd talk about the nephelims and about the earth's real shape and many more mysterious things people had no idea cause the vatican's removed them for they're whatsoever reasons
Now i know you're gonna laugh hard but the real shape of the earth is flat, and there's a big dome and Antartica is a giant ice wall, outside they are other lands and a civilazation is living there, just think of it as Star wars but its not about planets its about lands. . .
Before you laugh, i just want you to know that you should install that book of Enoch or buy it on wherever u may find it, and read the whole book to know about our true history!
I don't care if u think i'm crazy or stupid just saying true facts cause i already have one and read about it so before you judge just check first ok?
When hellborn ethereal entities arnt depicted as angels of the drivin snow: 🤯
I dont believe that someone's goofy little show can completely ruin other peoples religious beliefs
The second I saw this I knew people would hate it. They just want something to hate!!
For the last time, people are almost never happy for anything.
I thought the same thing when I first learned about Stolas when I was studying the goatia in high-school ( 2009 ). He is the cutest demon prince
i can say that is a picture of stolas due to me searching it up on my school computer.
I know Harley was not gonna sunmoning stollas when she put wrong sign on the floor
I don’t think this was intended as a reference, but as soon as I saw it I went “HEY WAIT A MINUTE ITS THE THING”
the offical american dad tiktok account acknowledging helluva boss is not what i was expecting
The idea that anything is ruining demons is kinda hilarious and silly to me.
Not only because Stolas himself had multiple references to his actual role in hell, but some of the goetia were said to be kind to those who showed them respect so the idea that they could be more than just evil has always been there (to a degree)

Noooo you've used the ancient demons the wrong way! Only I can use the ancient demons from centuries ago like that! $#‽@
I think it's a coincidence, the writers probably went through the Ars Goetia list to see which one they liked most, and Stolas was the one that looked the best / cutest. But who knows, maybe it was deliberate.
I still crack up with the irl stolas photo...
I didn’t even knew that stoles was real I thought he was made up
the comic accurate stolas looks amazing
What, like people were actively making fiction about Stolas before Helluva Boss? It's so clear that person is maming up stuff to be mad about.
Also, you can still nake your own spin on The Lesser Key of Solomon. Go for it.
Without Helluva boss most people wouldn’t know that the Ars Goetia existed at all
I want to read the Lesser Key of Solomon thanks to Helluva. Also, just to echo the sentiment of others, most people probably didn't know what the Ars Goetia and Stolas are beforehand. It's not the job of Viv or anyone on the team to educate people about their influences. It's a great opportunity for people to do their own reading if they want to see the characters and concepts in their original forms.
Absolutely loved this reference its super funny to me lmao
That’s cool. I don’t watch American Dad, but that’s cool for fans of both shows.
I haven't watched any of American Dad's newest episodes recently, but I think this is kinda cool lol
[How the director took inspiration be like]:
Director: [watching Helluva Boss as inspiration]
(After nearly 24 Hours Later) "Gentlemen I have a episode liner up for an idea."
[Writing then finishing] then let's put this Owl here on a manuscript and let's see if they can point it out, or something" (Finishes production)
[Vivziepop and Ayy Lmao found it and]
Vivziepop: *posts in her Blue Sky page*
[NO this is not the reference to the "Blue Sky Studios" 🫡 may they rest in peace]
Ayy Lmao: *Makes this short detailing to the last piece of information to us for updates and news*
I can almost guarantee that it isn’t a Helluva Boss reference specifically, but it inadvertently is one.
People are just taking it out of control ;p
Dude, if Stolas is real irl and I ever (somehow) get to meet him or smth, I hope he's loving all this stuff as everybody else (at least in the fandom) is 😂
There was a pic of Belphegor too - on the wall.
Technically Baphomet, but Vivzie's Bel appears to be a mix of the two.
I think that someone mentioned putting in a page from that book specifically and someone else said "I know EXACTLY what page to use"
They definitely didn’t ruin the Ars Goetia, if anything I think they brought attention to them and gave them all really cool designs
It would be amazing if these shows were actually set in the same universe
Just because it may be a coincidence doesn't mean people need to hate on Helluva for yet another reason that doesn't actually exist.
Me and my dad always watch American dad since I was little it's an amazing show I love it
Pretty sure most people didn't know anything about Stolas or the Ars Goetia until Helluva Boss. Hell, I don’t think there's been any adaptation of Stolas or the Ars Goetia anywhere before Helluva Boss.
Could still be a coincidence though, even if those are (or were) obscure things they have been around for hundreds of years and when you learn about demonology you're bound to know about this stuff as well.
OG Stolas is adorable. I mean owls are cute and a giant one with a crown is amazing. HB Stolas is also great.
I'd bet money the haters didn't know the Ars Goetia existed until they saw the HB pilot. Haters will use anything to manufacture that hateraid.
I was so excited when I saw this in American Dad!
Saying helluva boss ruined stolas is the same as saying Ralph breaks the internet ruined Disney princesses
I hope Seth McFarland and Vivzie do an episode together in the future!!❤
Vivziepop definitely knows that it's not a reference.
Nah its not...
Its so stupid that people start think that LITERALLY HIM FROM HELLUVA BOSS BRO😭
Fandom is so cooked💀
Saying that one tv show with references to mythology ruins the whole thing is kinda suspicious like why do you care so much. That’s like saying the PJO movies ruin all of Greek mythology as a whole. Like honey. Calm your tits.
Blitz has some competition, it seems.
It is actually very hard to believe what Vivian goes through with this damn fandom
Is just me or actual demon looks kinda cute, fluffy owl with crested crown🦉 👑
i just think it's an unintentional joke personally. stolas is a demon, and from what i'm looking at one of the more unassuming ones appearance-wise, so it was probably a dumb coincidence. but in the off chance it was a ref, cool
I hate when people are like "this show ruined this other thing it's based on". As if people can't love and recognize both 🙄
Thor and Loki have been known for their Marvel counterparts for years, yet people still know their origin and original lore
I honestly think it’s a coincidence but it’s a fun thing to notice!!! :3
*Really?! I'm honestly surprised that the adult animated series ,American Dad, made a Helluva Boss Easter egg reference, let alone they still airing the series!* 😮 *But at least that girl,Hayley has good taste: Prince Stolas Goetia is a popular character, along with Loona the hellhound heroine and Queen Bee-Bee-zle Bub/ Queen Bee of Gluttony for examples!* 😇🥰
They didn't put a HB Easteregg in the show, it's a drawing of an actual goetia, not the ones from HB
We can't be sure that it's a reference
The guy saying the show ruined the ars goetia as a whole… I guess vivzi has done gods work?
Im losing it over the true Stolas 😂
It feels more like a Hereditary reference. This book was in it and this depiction of Paimon, which is more closely tied to the scroll scene from American Dad. Viv is just reaching for straws
The lesser key of Solomon was written in the 17th century. Which is hundreds of years before Helluva Boss was created. The same goes for Lucifer, Lilith, Adam, and all the other real religious characters adapted in the Hellaverse
stolas is a prince
It would be cool, they mightve just picked any random demon. I don't believe it was a reference but that would be so sick. Then again, there are hundreds in demonology and they just happen to pick him? Maybe it was, maybe it wasn't. Either way, very cool
That’s not Stolas. That’s an owl in a crown.
As someone who literally read the entire Lesser Key, the Pseudomonarchia Daemonica and works by Jacques de Plancy and Sébastien Michaelis etc over a decade before HB even came out, if Viv's version of Stolas has "ruined the Ars Goetia as a whole" for you, your interest in it/love for it was pretty damn feeble 🙄
I don't care about the reference, but i agree with the statement that the original design of Stolas is cute
Ok, helluva boss fans, calm your tits NOW.
Not everything is from helluva boss, stolas is a demon from mythology, not from helluva boss.
I never knew they made a Helluva Boss Reference in American Dad, also what do they mean that the Ars Goetia in Helluva Boss is ruined? Andrealphus and Stella in my opinion are definitely not fit for royalty.😮😑
Ruined as in making everyone a twink
they mean the actual ars goetia, that helluva boss "ruined it". the ars goetia wasn't a think vivsie created herself
Stolas the demon existed before the show helluva boss
@MrFishDoesStuff Yeah, I know. I was just surprised that of all the shows that would reference Helluva Boss, sort of it would be American Dad.
@@moonlight_dulcet Wait, is that what they meant?
There is no way that guy was actually seeing the ars goetia and stolas on the regular
I get why people who know the information about the goetia but aren’t fans of the show might get annoyed because whenever they talk about what they know they get associated with a show they don’t like but also it’s just fans getting excited over silly stuff. Any fandom can act like something is a reference to their shows even if it isn’t intended to be
