Absolutely agree with the tubes. I first bought them for our toddler when our second baby arrived (now 10 months ago) and she is still obsessed with them. The baby started using them daily since less than 4 months old. Even I use them instead of squishing a stress ball when I need to fidget 😆 the only toy they constantly use at home and still is interesting for them as a distracting toy on the go Great suggestions. What is currently saving our summer (we also live in the hot, humid south), is a ball pit. We use an inflatable pool. We live in an apartment so not a lot of space but setup takes 2 minutes on the days we can't go outside and our toddler loves to put all the balls back in the evening, making cleanup for me a breeze
Haha I do that too with the tubes. Truly are one of the best buys of all time! Ahh ball pits are definitely a favorite!! Our pool came with some ball pit balls and the kids have loved that alone
I used to paint or color cardboard boxes to look like cars, trains or whatever else. My kids had a blast. I used food coloring in their bath water and let them blow bubbles. Some kids have an amazing imagination. We have always made Halloween costumes instead of buying them.
@@confidentlymom we made an Angel costume and devil, a dice, a Wookie. That was made with two oversized fur pillow cases. The Scarecrow and Tin Man. Dog. Invisible man, mummies, pumpkins. The wicked witch. We helped out with a Haunted Hay ride for three years. My son has a Ghilli suit and scared the daylights out of everyone. Everything was made with just what we had to work with. It was a lot of fun. We used a red and white sheet once, my husband went to work as The Spirit of "76" He won 3 place. I've used one piece Pajamas to make lots of costumes.
@@bonniethiessen5506 thats amazing!! And great idea on the one piece PJs! That's the part that always overwhelms me and stops me from starting... also i feel like i need a sewing machine haha though I've gotten pretty good with fabric glue over the years
