Peugeot Citroen Ford 1.6 HDI and TDCI fitting EGR blanking plate

Peugeot 307, 2006, 1.6hdi,I've had 1 error before this,now I have two of them P0405 and P0409 ,P0409 was showing before i dissasembled EGR valve tryed to clean,but decided to block it,not sure if its going to make engine problems,but car going perfectly fine for now.

Hi! It completely fixed my issue. No smoke and better throttle response. My vehicle is a 2009 and did not flag a management light but I believe later models can.

@@norbsautos I’ve got 2008, no errors on the computer and smoking black. Last week I’ve done injectors, but still smoking… I’ll try to blind it this week. I thought it would be harder to get into egr, but after your video I became more confident. Thanks

Hey mate, I've got an 09 Volvo with the same engine thats I'd like to do this to. Will it throw a check engine light if I do so?

The later cars seem to but in this case the light didn’t come on. This was also a 2009 so worth a try!
