This album was done after Agnetha was away from doing any music at all for 17 years! She went through a few rough years adjusting to being a single mother, after her divorce from Bjorn. She said she had been so busy with her own music from a very young age, then ABBA was so tireing during their 10 years, she just needed to get away. I am so glad she decided to another album, and only wish she would consider doing just one more! She has a lot of us fans that are patiently waiting! You hear me AGGY??

I discovered that this song has Italian authors, Flavio Carraresi and Alberto Testa, and I am proud that two Italians have given the opportunity to perform to this splendid woman and interpreter.
As with many other covers, this time too, Agnetha's version is the best.
My belief is that Agnetha also dedicated this song to Bjorn with that "I can't stop loving you"

This girl rips me apart. There's no other way to put it. Whenever she sings about her love life, I cry, cry, and can't stop crying. She sings Fool Am I, and I fall apart at the seams. Maybe it's just me, an old fart who never had the love-life troubles she sings about, yet I can't help but cry. Agnetha Faltskog is the most affecting singer...ever...and I love everything about her.
