Hi Fabio, thanks for the feedback! Next ones coming later this week - away with work right now. Will finally be getting to the one I suspect many have been waiting for: landings!!
could u explain how to get the "vertical track" enunciator? i use spad.next for turning a keyboard into the g1000 buttons but thats a cool functionality i dont know how to do
Hi there, and sorry for the delay. You have spad, so it's not too hard to do... First off you will need to get an audio clip of the 'vertical track'. Then you create a virtual 'script panel' in spad. this is used for creating events that have no physical button to trigger them. In the script panel 'device' you create a play audio event and point it towards your audio clip wherever you saved it. Then the tricky bit - you create a condition to trigger playing the sound. I recall that I found a ' top of descent' LVAR for the G1000 that basically counts down the distance to tod. So I used that and when that = 0 the condition is met to play the audio event. There are some tutorials vids by Les O'Reilly on using spad to play audio I also was able to get some support on the spad Discord. Hope that helps.
This is a real game changer for me taking the Kodiak more seriously Thank You
Thanks Mike, glad you are finding them helpful.
I have watched all 9 tutorials and can't wait for you to post the next one. I rarely give compliments but you deserve them all. Really good.
