Prolific Magic Egg (1903) Georges Méliès

In this early silent film a magician played by Georges Méliès himself does some magic with an egg. He draws a face on the egg and it grows and turns into a woman's head, which then turns into three heads then eventually back into an egg. The magician turns back into a skeleton. This film was released in France in 1903 under the name, "L'oeuf du sorcier ou L'oeuf magique prolifique."
