Stands to reason that such a first rate fiddle player would also be a first rate singer. And what a testamant to our current golden age of bluegrass muscians that Molly and Sam can be helping as backup singers, and other top-of-the-line players step in to play! Great song!
That's true. Sam must know something a lot of people don't. I read an article maybe 20 years ago about somebody being with him in the studio: It said that you just get this vibe that he is way ahead of of you. Bronwyn, your energy is so focused! I think you are going to be worthy of mention on and on.
Bronwyn is an absolutely incredible musician, songwriter but a good singer with a nice voice.. In the studio she can sound great but live shes not quite up to the standard of Molly Tuttle, Rhonda Vincent, Dolly Parton or Allison Krauss. If she wants be a solo act and make the big time that's the competition. .
@dlagrua She's got the cake mix to develope...she has great vocal phrasing...that's the key....she's a fiddle player...they know intonation. She's probably spent her life becoming a fiddler....her live vocal performance will come.
@@cugir321 Fantastic fiddler absolutely one of the very best but what i was referring to is the the audience hears the VOICE of solo performers first judges by that but later they get to hear their musical ability. Listen to Rhonda Vincent and see how her voice takes the spotlight.
@@dlagrua I understand what you're saying....Molly and Rhonda sang and played since a wee lass. She probably concentrated on fiddle....she's got the parts to develop singing live. All she has to do is listen to her live performances and she'll explode into bliss. She's got the ear being a fiddle player. She's always got the potential bomb waiting to explode. I've heard Allison sound subpar live.....listen to Bronwyn do "Dig a hole" at Dee's...8/14/23...it's on youtube...she nails it. If you think those big time singers don't have some kind of pixie dust on their voices when they do big performances you are sadly mistaken. They tweek everything. It can come down to just a good ear bud monitor. Allison is always messing with her ear sound.
A good song and a great line up. I would expect there isn't a musician in the world who's done as much session work as Jerry Douglas. He's on just about everything
❤I didn’t even know they were on the album until after I bought it. I grew up listening to them. I especially remember Jerry Douglas from Skip Hop n Wobble and Sam Bush from Tony Rices album Manzanita. I swear God sent this album to me. 🎉🙏🌎✌️
Wow...what a great voice....she needs to be featured more with Molly Tuttle...she's magnificent....her voice is pure. Also, what a great tune! I learned this tune from her....I love her phrasing.....it's a great nursing home tune. Those Golden oldie sweetheart's adore a great love song and a handsome 60 year old. Oh to be 25 again and fall in love with Bronwyn! I'm so disappointed I missed her time. She shivers me timbers. A beautiful woman singing the ultimate love song....nothing but love matters.
Just Wow. What a beautiful voice . Talk about an all star cast. Thanks so much for putting this up, I think people love this behind the scene videos, I know I do.
The song is fantastic, the music is gorgeous and Bronwyn is otherworldly. I've listened to it like 50 times over the last week. Keep asking myself, how can something so meek (her voice) be so utterly spirited and soulful.
This is a really excellent song played with great emotion. Bronwyn sounds great and she is performing in the studio with a few of Nashvilles absolute best. Its doesn't get any better with Bryan Sutton on Guitar, Jerry Douglas, Dobro, Sam Bush, Mollie Tuttle, Wes Corbett , Banjo, Dominick Leslie, Mandolin and Jeff Picker, bass.
@@edeledeledel5490 Oops that was my error not to mention Dominick Leslie one of the very best mandolin players in Nashville. He is certainly on a level with the other greats.
Been playing this tune for a couple weeks....this is a powerful lyric. It's a universal, relatable theme. Love is all that matters. You may want to change the "person" of this tune when you sing it live. Change "she" and "her" to "you" and "your"...it will hit the listener right in the ole ticker and make that magical connection. You're talking direct to the listener. I'm trying it live next week.
Good Lord, I knew for several years that she is an excellent fiddle player but what a unique an honest singing voice! Vibrant as a crystal clear mountain stream. Soft as the moss on its banks. I hope to hear much more of it. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I've always claimed that Golden Highway is the group par excellence in which the talent is perfectly equitably distributed. My God! Here's proof of my claim. Congratulations Bronwyn. You kept us sane through Covid and now your album to look forward to. Talent will out.
What the hey? This'll do!! Beatles? Hip hop? Commercial jingles? Airplaneelevatorprotesttunes? C'n live w/out all that--not w/out this. Top notch real, people
Awesome! Great to see you back in the studio with several great artists in Molly Tuttle, Jerry Douglas, Bryan Sutton and Sam Bush. Looking forward to your album release next year! I do miss Mile 12, just saying.....
This is fabulous. Great song, great singing, blissful harmonies, wonderful playing and Brent Truitt pulling it all together at the desk. It's one of the things I love most about acoustic music: players coming together to help produce the most joyous sound. There are so many great players - young and not so young - around these days making the best records and it's terrific that they all get the recognition.
This is the second Brownwyn song that Ive really enjoyed... Capo first fret and DADGBE tuning? Wish I could find a good tab, Bryan Sutton sounds great here too!

And, she can sing too?! No fair! Absolutely gorgeous track. Man, that's a boatload of talent in that room.
We need to hear more of your voice, just like this. ❤
Sam and Jerry managed to squeak by in the blind audition process..... Great to see two legends playing with the next generation.
Brian is there too, can't quite tell on my first listen
@@larrywillard844 They all love playing with the younger generation... and the young generation adore them too. Mutual respect.
not to mention Brian and Molly

Virtuoso Violin player AND a beautiful voice? Nothing this woman can't do.
She likes fishing too! 😅
Music is so deep, innocent, and just makes me feel great! Still go back to this one often!!!!
Luv it! Keep going!!!!!!!

I didn't know you could sing just as well as you can play fiddle!
You do now!
Awesome.
I've heard her fiddle
First time hearing her sing !
Beautiful voice!!
Just Wow. What a beautiful voice . Talk about an all star cast. Thanks so much for putting this up, I think people love this behind the scene videos, I know I do.

wonderful. I like this so much. Good luck!!! 😉👍
This song has been stuck in my head for 2 weeks now.
Nothing but solid Bluegrass gold
Wow, such a terrific voice. Great seeing team player Molly Tuttle sining backups.
Wow, She is one of my favorites..... Miss Fiddle for sure, and now.... a what a passionate beautiful voice..... and very easy on the eyes
It has the feel of the BBC series, "Transatlantic Sessions", where friends have come together just to enjoy the music.
Her voice is so beautiful, I had no idea! Great song! I'm excited to hear more!
I've been waiting to hear Bronwyn sing since I first saw her in Australia with Mile Twelve. Every bit as good as I'd imagined!
What a beautiful voice, so talented
The song is fantastic, the music is gorgeous and Bronwyn is otherworldly. I've listened to it like 50 times over the last week. Keep asking myself, how can something so meek (her voice) be so utterly spirited and soulful.
All First Class Musicians here, folks!
Beautiful sound absolutely beautifully written!
Love this!!! Love that it mixes legendary bluegrass musicians with the bomb new stars of today's bluegrass age! Great job Bronwyn.
I have listened to this song so many times… and like it more each time. Thanks to Bronwyn and all who made it so delightful.
Wow!! What a great song and a great album! You’re a wonderful singer and musician! I look forward to following your career for years to come!
27 and discovering bluegrass ❤ she's my favorite
What a beautiful voice!
Best mix of bluegrass and hint of trad Irish!
Wow, who knew you were hiding that voice! From now on you get a mic at shows. See you in December.
At the end you just wanna sigh and say "yeah"...
I think this must be what heaven sounds like!
Beautiful voice, Bronwyn - and a great song!~😉

Every one of them ranks among about the best in the business.
Giving me shivers with the sound blend!!!

What a great message this song has, this is the type of song women everywhere should listen to in these troublesome times.
So talented and such a beautiful song and songstress.
Great song, beautiful voice. This definitely goes to the top of my personal favorites!! More, please.
Wow, a very pleasant surprise. Great job. Great song.

Очень красиво!
This is amazing song. Beautiful lyrics and voice! So clean and natural sounding!

Great presentation of a great Jamie Hartford song. I like the way Bronwyn tweaked the lyrics.
Absolutely wonderful. I am becoming a big fan of Bronwyn.
You have a lovely voice. Looks like you got some great pickers to play on the recording. I love this so g.

I will confirm after seeing them Live a few weeks ago!
The guy on dobro could have a future.
HA! Yeah, he's not half bad.
Hope you sing this one when your out with Molly.

Great sound, great song fortunately, as a man that's all the man. Upstairs features me is how to live without
Man, Bronwyn, pretty, great voice, talented, perfect skin....😊
You are proving to be a Bluegrass powerhouse on your own, dear! Keep at it! Big hug from Detroit!
Bravo Bronwyn. Ich habe dich vermisst. Regard from Switzerland. ❤❤❤

Wow! Best bluegrass song I’ve heard in a long time! More like this and you will need your own bus if you haven’t got one already!!
What the hey? This'll do!! Beatles? Hip hop? Commercial jingles? Airplaneelevatorprotesttunes? C'n live w/out all that--not w/out this. Top notch real, people
I'd drop $20 to sit in a full-size movie theatre for 4 mins to view this on the silver screen. 💋😘
Really good! I didn't know Bronwyn had such a nice voice.
My god, that's gorgeous! But how could it not be?
Wow Amazing I loe it
