I think going forward for new players they can consider doing Nevsky/JoanPrime first, instead of Guan/Scipio (you'd still want both), given that the skills we have seen for JoanP proves to be correct. Cav legendary gear is a better upgrade for F2P; quicker march that can run away; also with Joan's double proc on active skill (every 2nd cycle) and Nev skill dmg bonus it would be a close match between these two pairs I believe. For your murderball G/S brings silence, 30%(up to 3 targets) health reduction, 1500 shield; N/J brings 45% defence reduction, (5% dmg buff + 20rage)*3sec to 3 marches. But in the end, even if we get another reliable commander that does silence, you'd still want Guan in your murderball - Maybe you could settle for a 51x5 Guan until you have a 5 march murdeball, and then decide on who to max.
Scipio is easier to pair (and can pair well with older commanders), Guan's pairing is limited comparing to someone like Scipio, so in that sense I would think Scipio is better choice to invest first (and can use him pretty much without expertise too)
This has aged well as now scipio is a meta March comander and a new infantry may come soon ish ima go for scipio in season 3 and il work on my alex even then just because I like Alex he is cool and decent
Speaking as someone who went into SOC with 700 heads first Soc I went 5551 Scipio and 5155 guan.. could not be happier I got 11m kills as T4 that SOC in A seed kingdom. This is my second SOC and I expertised Nevsky this time.
The problem with investment order videos is almost every content creator extremely over-estimates how many gold heads an actual FTP player can accumulate. Maybe the schedule was longer when they started playing but at best a FTP player can expertise 1 leg commander by SOC. That is true of even most low spenders and I am not talking about the ones who say they are low spenders because they "only buy the dailies". If you spend almost 2 grand to play a single game for a year, you aren't a low spender.
That's not true, hyperactive f2p can get 3 expertised legendaries (not including aethel) by the time they're going to go into SoC for the first time. Of course this is extremely difficult and you need to plan before you even start the jumper account, but it's possible. You're right though, F2P have it very difficult and it's really a grind.
@@OmniarchOfficial I am talking about the 99% of FTP players who aren't in jumper accounts where they will get in an alliance with a bunch of daily silver/gold chests. I am actually a low spender and even I could only get 1. I am more active than 90% of other players and while I could have maybe grabbed another 100-200 gold heads with perfect play or being welcomed into a whale alliance early on, there is no way to even get to 2 expertised legendaries for 99% of FTP players in the 250-300 days that is before SOC now and that time is probably shrinking with every update like the time between KvK's is.
@@OmniarchOfficial even 2 (not including aethel) will be very difficult. It's not easy to get gold heads and can't always top events to get those heads as f2p. Jumping strategy has been heavily nerfed, no Richard or ysg in tavern.

Investment order would be a good idea for new players but I don’t think new players should wait until SOC to invest their heads. What are they suppose to do for the first 3 kvks in that case? Balance between enjoying the game and long term value.
This is definitely ideal, no doubt. I personally, if I were to do it again starting from s1, i think i would go ysg, alex, guan, harald, and hang tight for scipio. After that, I'm right on top of nevsky and Joan. I think that makes 3 real solid marches over time for the end game, and you get a little action in the beginning with Alex ysg for the first few seasons.
You hear that guys? SAVE BEFORE INVESTING IN GUAN! Personally, my bet’s on something that pairs really well with Leonidas. Like AoE with attack reduction… but that’s pure speculation 😉 Good video man!

I'm using Scipio as second to my 5525 Charles in this kvk and getting great trades. Guan Alex is my other info pair as need to bring Alex and don't like CM Alex as a pair. For dark ruins, other 1 march scenarios Guan Scipio obviously. Side note on Guan, he's usable at 5111. I did back in the day. Mine now still only 5245, as don't want to rush more heads going on second skill or using more resets on him. Really getting him to 5xx5 and he's done.
As a f2p and new to SOC, I'll save up all my gold heads and stars for Scipio Prime. I can't be bothered by other commanders because I get heads very slow and accumulating 500 of them is near impossible in my current situation.
I'm maxing GY in 2w and the answer is: SCIPIO FOR FCKING SURE! Scipio is on a totally different level. You can use Scip for MANY things: - Martel/Scip => good enough to complete Shadow Legion (for f2p) - Lohar/Scip => great for barbs in KvK (if you don't have YSG) as it's very tanky and has AOE - Anything/SCIP => just great for open field. Not saying that GY is worse in open field, but just saying that Scip is more flexible.
Omni, this might sound weird to you but scipio have an advantage no other commander IN the game does. Look at scipio numbers at level 1 each, and the upgrade value of his skills PER level. Scipio level 1 skills number values are equal to other commanders at level 3. For example, level 1 scipio first skill is 1500 Level 3 guan first skill is 1500. I literally used scipio at 1 1 1 1 for a while as f2p and it was just fine.

Spicio is best infantry commander for F2P.. As you must be having Alex max when you enter SOC.. So make Spicio + Alex by far best pair easy to move and hold.. Guan is always has been a lot of work. People target it first , it definitely need legendary equipment , expertise skill is Meh 😕 , skill damage is NOT same as primary or secondary. Just saying as F2P , I have used them all and have them all.. Spicio even OP with charls 😂😂.
I have p scipio when I got back playing the game, started 2020 and stop 2021, I migrated back to KvK 2. I have Max YSG and Alex is at 5511, My p scipio is now 5411. F2P here, planning to get Guan when wheel comes out. Should I max Alex or Guan Yu after I Max my P Scipio?
Guan yu Is on the dailies store and in the anniversary so for low and middle spenders guan &scipio would be possible but for f2p alex scipi would be great too

You should max Alex by soc.. I don't know... If I'll be able to max Alex by the time SOC hits our kd.. I am now confused should I go for Alex or directly invest in soc commanders.???
I am not experienced ao sont make your decision based on me but I think you should invest in Alex because if you don't you will be kind of useless in kvk with a bad commander(I'm newer than you tho it's just my opinion

Short Answer: Yes, if you want to become infantry main, but main focus would be Scipio P. Focus on expertise Scipio P. then save gold heads for the new inf commander. I have Scipio P. , Harold, and Alex expertised. Currently working on Pakal 5534. 5155 is ideal if you can get Harolds skills to land after using skill resets which are extremely rare. After 3 kvks using Harold I've gotten about 3 million KP. Expertise Alexander. My first kvk 4 was Alex/Sun Tzu. (Alex not expertise). kvk 4-5 achieved alex expertise, and got Harold. Harold/Alex is still the way to go, skill tree is better than attack tree. Then Scipio P./Harold, depends on if you prefer support tree or skill tree, but health debuff does apply to every enemy Harold hits with his AOE, which is nice. (tested)

I always make plan for future commanders i gonna use(i am low spender, i spent like 50$ for 260 days in game). In that case at the kvk1 i played archers and expertised my YSG, at 2 kvk i got Alex and continue playing with infa, now i am at kvk3 with expertised Alex and Ysg. For SoC first commander i go for will be Scipio because of his tankiness and Aoe, i can pair him with YSG for massive damage or Alex for fast tanky march and hit and run, then boudica for YSG and Attila Takeda
@@mida05g even with epic equipment they give you nice positive reports in openfield. Nice pair for f2p and lowspender i think, minus is that they become powerfull only after both expertise
17 days in, love watching all the vids of what's coming. But when I have, for archers; Thutmose, Tomoe, Hermann, El CId, Kusunoki, Imhotep and Ms. Generic. Depends on how many sculptures you have saved already. If you definitely won’t get anywhere close to maxing Alex before SoC then go for scipio :)

I'm around the same as you and I have Alex expertise. So i would, he is an allrounder, you can use him pretty much anywhere with anyone
Hmmm if you're already in SoC I would say start investing in Scipio now. You'll save over 300 sculpts by skipping that last skill on Alex.

There is one combo with scipio that win XY Nevsky - Scipio YSG, probably not the best but before Guan i think it is ok.
Definitely high damage but squishy. I’d say Mehmed with relic is better if you can get 5511 or 5515
I always make plan for future commanders i gonna use(i am low spender, i spent like 50$ for 260 days in game). In that case at the kvk1 i played archers and expertised my YSG, at 2 kvk i got Alex and continue playing with infa, now i am at kvk3 with expertised Alex and Ysg. For SoC first commander i go for will be Scipio because of his tankiness and Aoe, i can pair him with YSG for massive damage or Alex for fast tanky march and hit and run, then boudica for YSG and Attila Takeda

@@mida05g even with epic equipment they give you nice positive reports in openfield. Nice pair for f2p and lowspender i think, minus is that they become powerfull only after both expertise
All the content creators be like. F2P max Alex. So we can melt you in SOC 😂. No problem. Just have to what a year for my daily 1 goldhead.

17 days in, love watching all the vids of what's coming. But when I have, for archers; Thutmose, Tomoe, Hermann, El CId, Kusunoki, Imhotep and Ms. Generic. Nobody every really talks of them, except to avoid El Cid, and that Tomoe & Sun Tzu can be deadly nukes. I'm thinking of going with Thutmose and Hermann until I get the shiny toys.
Focus on YSG for now :)
