  • Why do we have favorites? Why do some people like chocolate ice cream, and others prefer vanilla? How is it that we decide subjective preference?
For quite some time science has pointed to the orbitofrontal cortex. Now Camillo Padoa-Schioppa and colleagues at Washington University in St. Louis have established a causal relationship between OFC neurons and assigning value to objects. Tune in to learn about their research!

I don't make choices when to get up, what to eat, or what to wear in the morning. I'm autistic and w/ breast cancer. I get up when I can. I eat and wear samew thing every day.
