Hi Brent! I was surprised and so happy to see this. My wife Joanie and I met at TBN. Joanie was Jan Crouch's personal secretary and assistant for almost 25 years. She was also the Associate Director of the Live "Praise the Lord" TV program for 10 years. I was working behind studio "c" typesetting all the publications and Joanie was producing the monthly Newsletter for Paul and Jan and that's how we met. Keep up the good work! Your friend Mark
What a weird and unique place. That carpet was so over the top. I imagine the overall effect was somewhat diminished by the constant sound of traffic on the nearby road. Thank you for sharing this amazing tour.
Awesome place!!!! Thank you Brent for sharing this wonderful adventure!!! I hope that sooo much more of this iconic property is saved!!! From the columns to the pavers to the cement tables & benches to the arched, stone doorways!!! All sooo very beautiful & salvageable!!! I truly enjoyed seeing this once gorgeous place!!! Thank you Brent for sharing this with us 👍🙏💕
Magnificent place… it is so sad it could not remain open. The actors did a superb job bringing the biblical stories alive. I would have loved to gone back. When I was there I shed tears of joy now I shed ears of sadness.
Cool explore, and great vid as always Brent. This place looks like even in it's operating days would make even Ned Flanders bored, no wonder it flopped, lol.
Brent, as always super cool explore. It must have been quite the production in its day. I can imagine visitors from all over coming to see it. Church youth groups for one. Amazing amount of decay there after all that money was put into it. Cheers Brent. Have an amazing Sunday. ❤❤
Imagine the kids group hearing they're going to a theme park in Florida and the disappointment when they pulled up here instead of Disney, lol. I had never heard of this park but it's really nice looking. They obviously spent money making it look the part. I was surprised how big it was.
congrats on the 100 thousand subs ! have been a subscriber a while ..I really like the old farm houses in the middle of no where .but this is a pretty cool explore differently not your normal abandoned video
Great video, good drone footage, interesting place. I have to say this place is one of the more bizarre theme parks I have ever heard of..Thanks, Brent
Hi Brent! I’m trying to remember if I’ve ever heard of this place, especially since we’ve been going down to Florida every year for decades. Kind of gruesome if they re-enacted the crucifixion. I don’t think I’d want to see something like that, ever. 👋🏻👋🏻👋🏻
Another great explore. Didn’t even know it existed. You have been in the states a lot lately. You must miss home. Always a good day when you upload. Thank you!
I grew up about 45 minutes from there, always passed the signs for it on the interstate and wondered what it was all about, now I know. Great video, and welcome to Florida! I hope you are enjoying it here, though it’s getting hot a bit early in the year!
Fascinating explore, I'd heard of this place but never went there, All the time they spent designing and building that theme park and it's much bigger than I had imagined. Thank you very much for the walk through! Really enjoyed it. "There's Jesus playing Mini put." wins for Best Line of the night.
The idea is that it's supposed to resemble Jerusalem, but placing the park out west would've been a bit more accurate. Last I heard, Jerusalem doesn't have Florida's alligators, mosquitoes the size of F-16s, and 900% humidity. 😀
Oh wow. What a place. Great explore Brent! I hope they’re going to recycle the customer service counters from the gift shops they are pretty nice! That carpet … old fashioned pub carpet lol
Woow what a incredible place 🙌👍🏻always different and always sooo good 👏🏻 you're a man worthy of admiration and respect, you're the best 💪thanks for another great adventure with you my favorite explorer No.1 Big greetings and kiss for you from Serbia 🇷🇸 ❤ Take care ❤🇨🇦
Hi Brent how are you iam sorry that iam behind so much I've been sick with a bad virus since Thanksgiving so I havnt been on my phone hardly this park looked like it was a beautiful place at one time there still is some beautiful things but looks like alot of Decay and maybe vandals breaks my heart so much work went into it building this beautiful place thank you for the tour Happy Saint Paddy's day to you and your family
I went there as a little kid, like 5-6! I'm 22 now and have always thought it was the coolest theme park I even have pictures! Sad to see it go but its understandable after the pandemic and it running into debt.
I'm atheist, but visited this place in 2007, as I'm a theme park enthusiast and it was another park to add to my list but mostly because I thought my partner who is catholic might enjoy it. I made him pay my admission though :-) It was a pretty surreal experience. The guy at the ticket booth told us, and I quote "Don't miss our biggest attraction, the cruxification of Jesus". At the Jerusalem miniature, there was a guy in a Indiana Jones costume doing a presentation. The show I liked best was about the ark of the covenant, which had some nice special effects :-)
Yeah, gotta say, this place definitely smacks of sacrilege. I'm pretty confident in saying Jesus would have flipped over the ticket tables as being a grotesque show of greed.
Abandoned Urbex Canada thanks brent i understand all of that about Jesus christ i am a christian but i never heard of that place it looked really cool Golgotha is the place where jesus was crucified in jerusalem that what that place is and thanks again my friend and God Bless.
8:35 butt cheek mold BaHaHa! That over head catwalk sound so sketchy, glad you got off of it quickly. You have shown me Sooo many types of first time" sites, and this was another one with the Biblical putt putt mini golf. Thank you Thank you Thank you for taking the trip there to explore and share with your followers. This explore was EPIC!! 👼 👼 👼
Hands down - that was one bizarre park. Still trying to figure out Jesus (?) or was it Jonas with the octopus in the put put golf course. I'm pretty sure they didn't have one of those in Jerusalem at the time LOL.
Remember the PTL Club over in South Carolina? That was a major scam park too! Jim and Tammy were to busy boning their associates and scamming millions to keep the place going!
Thanks for the tour. We opted to go to other theme parks and play mini golf at a pirate themed place. The cave like place you went into reminded me of the story of Jonah in the Belly of the 🐋 🐳 whale.
It's Sunday morning and there's a video from my favourite explorer! Thanks Brent for the effort that went in to this explore! It's amazing what people will try in order to make money. I am not religious but even I thought the theme park in extremely poor taste - Jesus playing putt putt?!! I'm sure the hospital will be better appreciated!! Gill 🇬🇧
Those cobblestone walkways can be dug up and reused elsewhere, if they are sandset stones and not in concrete. What's sad is the amount of waste this country produces.. Thanks for the video Brent..🙋♂️👍
I thought about going there when I moved to Florida but just never got around to it. I'm going to ask my priest tomorrow at church if he knows what Jesus would think of putt-putt though.
I’m sad to see the model of ancient Jerusalem become the way it is now. I was hoping that it got dismantled and put back together again and be displayed at a church somewhere. I was impressed by the extraordinary detail that was put into it.
In the stories of the Bible, there is a character by the name of Jonah. He is swallowed by a whale and spends 3 days and 3 nights before he is rescued in the belly of the whale. When you walked in through the tunnel at the miniature Gulf, that was to represent that part of the Bible. And it wasn't an octopus you were going through the ribcage of the whale.
@Abandoned Urbex Canada thank you Brent, for your replay. That fancy place and no one stayed there , that is odd. They spent all the money to build it and no one said there?????
3:34 I'd say it's more than just a coincidence that you always hear them making that comparison to things they don't like. As a matter of fact I'd call it a "Cohen-cidence".
Once pandemic came religious theme park They just filed bankruptcy Permanently closed it Stayed permanently closed Until demolition Waste of money build a theme park
Sigh. It's okay that you "don't know much about religious stuff" Brent. I suspect you have that in common with the folks who put this together. And, as a Christian, that's the nicest thing I could think of to say about it. Your video, on the other hand, is excellent. As always.
Think about this for a minute a family theme park where you take your young children to watch somebody being nailed to the cross and tortured I can’t see any problem with that can you can you imagine the traumatized children that saw this? What the hell no wonder
If you enjoy this video please help my channel and like/share 😁👍🏻 your awesome!
It’s jaw dropping to me the amount of money that was poured into this place. Thank you Brent for the backstory and video. 😁

Looks like a barrel of laughs! NOT!
This was an interesting video. I never heard of this place before. Thank you for sharing!

Come on, kids, we’re going to watch a guy get tortured! You’ll love it!
This makes me so sad 😢! My former husband and my son went there back in the early 2000’s for Christmas! It was wonderful!
Loved the drone footage the most. Thanks for this explore!!
This place was amazing! Thanks for the tour!
Your welcome! Thanks for watching
Another great explore. Didn’t even know it existed. You have been in the states a lot lately. You must miss home. Always a good day when you upload. Thank you!
Thank you!
Thank you for posting the video about The Holy Land Experience Theme Park.
You’re welcome!

Awesome video man! Loved seeing how you put the whole video together with clips from the park itself. Really amazing man!
Thanks buddy I appreciate it. Great explore 👍🏻
My mother loved visiting this. We went with the Senior Bible class on several occasions.
Smells just like Jim and Tammy!
Thanks for the tour Brent!
Jim and Tammy Baker were at Heritage USA in Fort Mill South Carolina 😎

You don't disappoint with your videos. So interesting- one of your best
Thanks so much Robert
Great Explore. Never heard of this place but so glad you did and shared it. Thank you.
Thanks Trish and thank you for sharing 😁
@20:15 I think that is supposed to be the inside of the whale that swallowed Jonah.
Loved this one , you explore some great places 👍🙌
This is absolutely amazing. GREAT EXPLORATION 👍
Thank you!
Confused why you said it was a happening place in the 80's/90's, when it opened in 2001. 🤷♂️
Wonderful vidéo as always 🤗🤗👋👋👋🙋🙋🙋
Thank you
Awesome place. Thanks for sharing
PS. Jesus playing mini putt made me laugh out loud.
🤣
The idea is that it's supposed to resemble Jerusalem, but placing the park out west would've been a bit more accurate. Last I heard, Jerusalem doesn't have Florida's alligators, mosquitoes the size of F-16s, and 900% humidity. 😀
Not to mention Jesus wasn't a pasty-skinned dude, either.
I always pictured Jesus as this caucasian surfer dude from California🧔
A white washed religious theme park? What could go wrong? And it's in Florida no less! Just about perfect.
Well they didn’t have cheap styrofoam and poorly constructed drywall either. Best leave Jerusalem where it is.
Oh wow. What a place. Great explore Brent! I hope they’re going to recycle the customer service counters from the gift shops they are pretty nice! That carpet … old fashioned pub carpet lol
Tanks j’adore vos vidéos . Vraiment bien. 🇧🇪
Cool explore! Definitely a weird, crazy place.
Weird park. I like rollercoasters. This is one park I wouldn't visit. Hi Brent, oooh sirens, better get out. Haha! Stay safe.
Almost forgot about this place...I live in Los Angeles and remember seeing commercials on TV for this place.
This was another abandoned theme park in Orlando. Splendid China was just like this one. Started off well and lost too much money to stay open.
I’m always looking forward to your videos. Thank you for another awesome video 😊❤
Thank you very much

As a Roman Catholic, I’m heart broken
I went there as a little kid, like 5-6! I'm 22 now and have always thought it was the coolest theme park I even have pictures! Sad to see it go but its understandable after the pandemic and it running into debt.

The shear size of this place is Amazing Brent. I would have been nice to see in it's day.
Got scared for you when you were on the catwalk in the theatre.
It's been a long time since I've seen something as tacky as this.
Abandoned Urbex Canada thanks brent i understand all of that about Jesus christ i am a christian but i never heard of that place it looked really cool Golgotha is the place where jesus was crucified in jerusalem that what that place is and thanks again my friend and God Bless.
That octopus is f'ing terrifying! lmao

Thank so much bsage! A lot of fun filming this one 😁👍🏻
6 bucks for a hot dog is WILD. ik its theme park prices but damn lol
Hi Brent ! Dropped because no one believes in God anymore which makes me sad . I didn't know it existed. Thank you fir showing it to us
Hands down - that was one bizarre park. Still trying to figure out Jesus (?) or was it Jonas with the octopus in the put put golf course. I'm pretty sure they didn't have one of those in Jerusalem at the time LOL.
🤣
It was Jonah and the big fish.
Absolutely love your videos ✌️
Thank you! You’re awesome!
Thank you so much. Getting ready to order some of your merch ✌️
Oh thank you! 😊
You’re so welcome 🙂
Seen a few like this, The Holy Land Experience Theme Park kind, they never make it last, nice explore.
Remember the PTL Club over in South Carolina? That was a major scam park too! Jim and Tammy were to busy boning their associates and scamming millions to keep the place going!
Totally crazy place. "Jesus playing mini putt" and octopus with Jesus lying inside 😱 What a heck!
The mini put looked like the inside of something 🤣😳
Oh yeah, the mini golf part is after the book of Revelations.
I live 45 mins from here and never been here. It looked beautiful from the freeway. It opened 8/17/02 and closed due to Covid.
that was a different explore for sure. the theater was awesome
Thanks for the tour. We opted to go to other theme parks and play mini golf at a pirate themed place. The cave like place you went into reminded me of the story of Jonah in the Belly of the 🐋 🐳 whale.
Pirate themed place looked better. Think it’s abandoned as well. I went to one while I was there
I was thinking the same thing!
Gill 🇬🇧
Good morning!
Nothing says Ancient Jerusalem like mini putt and flush toilets. Extremely tacky, belongs in Vegas.
I’m surprised there’s not a walk in marriage booth with one of the apostles as the constable for the marriage certificate and ceremony.
Jesus mini putt! If the ball falls through a hole is his foot does it count as an Ace?!😂😂😂
never heard of this place until now. some of these places are creepy.
what a bizarre place
Unusual....good film
I’m sad to see the model of ancient Jerusalem become the way it is now. I was hoping that it got dismantled and put back together again and be displayed at a church somewhere. I was impressed by the extraordinary detail that was put into it.
Yes they should have donated it so others could enjoy it
I enjoy this so much😊
Well worth watching.
"God's World" flopped in Florida of all places, but that Ark attraction reels 'em in.
How are you the beard is awesome👍
Thanks Mary!

That catwalk was like Squid Games. 👀
Injoy you 🤩😘😍☀️😍💓💙😍💋👏
Great video. It's interesting place. Did you find any rooms where people stayed there???. Will the hospital keep what looks like a man lake???
No I don’t think people stayed there. I hope they keep the pond 👍🏻
@Abandoned Urbex Canada thank you Brent, for your replay. That fancy place and no one stayed there , that is odd. They spent all the money to build it and no one said there?????
Just a theme park no hotel there
That place is huge. Side note: lately your sound has been so low I have to to crank it up.
Very loud on my end
@@AbandonedUrbexCanada weird. My ads are blasting when they come on. 🤷🏻♀️
Always like that when I watch. Same with tv shows
Brent you should come into Mount Dora FL & find the catacombs
Oh I would love that 👍🏻
@@AbandonedUrbexCanada I could show you around about area where they are from what I was told
I never heard of this place. Shame they didn't market it well. I would have taken the kids and grandkids
I would’ve loved to gone to holy land experience in Orlando, Florida
Should have came!
I believe what used to be on the walls that had been removed were mirrors.
Im sure the new hospital business will take in huge amounts of money compared to this place.
THERE WAS SIN AT THE TOP..GOD TOOK HIS HANDS OFF OF THAT..SAD..
Great job 👏 💪
Thank you!

I'd say it's more than just a coincidence that you always hear them making that comparison to things they don't like. As a matter of fact I'd call it a "Cohen-cidence".
when religion is for sale, and you can make good money from it...
Urbex Canada is now in Florida?!!? What is happening?!?! Now even the Canadians are coming and staying??!!
Hopefully, the same thing will happen to Ken Ham's Noah Ark in Williamstown, Kentucky.
Once pandemic came religious theme park
They just filed bankruptcy
Permanently closed it
Stayed permanently closed
Until demolition
Waste of money build a theme park
Such a great vlog before they erase it from existence (bttf)
I'm not religious either but I think this would have been an interesting place to see in it's prime.
omg lol at that intro
Sigh. It's okay that you "don't know much about religious stuff" Brent. I suspect you have that in common with the folks who put this together. And, as a Christian, that's the nicest thing I could think of to say about it. Your video, on the other hand, is excellent. As always.
