  • The Time-Lapse is the first disc in the Simon Line. A line of discs by Axiom Discs in partnership with Simon Lizotte. Simon said he wanted a driver made for all skill levels, but does the Time-Lapse live up to the claim? Lets find out together as I throw the Time-Lapse for the first time.

Per Simon's video, below are the colors and how he was finding them to fly. Now that doesn't mean every color will fly that way, but it is a good starting point.
    Overstable:
    Red
    Orange
    White
    Yellow
    Neutral:
    Blue
    Grey
    Green
    Understable:
    Purple

Follow the rainbow for stability. It has pretty much always worked that way.

I never noticed that but looks to line up. Curious if there is a relationship to the varying plastic color material density and varying flight characteristics? My brain can’t get to how that would be possible though. 😂

I love your reviews. You do a great job. But, I feel what separated you from ALL other disc reviewers was showing all different flights with the follow lines. I have purchased discs because of that. I would love to see you do that with this disc. Keep up the good work.

Happy to hear you enjoy the reviews!!! Thank you for the support!
When I get to the official review of the Tome-Lapse, there definitely will be the follow flights! Hoping by Spring the Time-Lapse will be in more plastic options otherwise I will need to compare it to other Speed 12 discs.

@@CheatingLeftyDiscGolf makes total sense. I was hoping you didn’t take that as a negative response. I think you are by far the best disc reviewer on the Tube. I will look forward to the review when it’s time.

I have a Purple and Blue. I kept flipping over the Purple forehand, so I switched to the Blue. The Blue is more stable for sure. My son loves the Purple. He throws it on an anny flex line and bombs it. It is very similar to a DD3 new out of the box. One thing I noticed is that has so much glide. Even on a bad shot, it still pushed so far. I don't think it will be a main driver for us as he uses a DD and I use a Jet. I do think it is is a good alternative for the wind shots and shots where we need a reliable fade.

Yea, it’s fun, but not sure if I would bag it. Orange is pretty close to how my Orbit Ice Trespass flies. Good for wind, but will have to throw them side by side. Took the Burplish out today for a round and kept putting too much angle on it. Almost got accidental forehand rollers 😅.

@@CheatingLeftyDiscGolf yep had the same issue with the purple. As I am getting better, I am not liking to throw forehand as much. I used to be forehand dominant, but now only throw forehand on approaches. I will probably use the Time Lapse when I have a standstill forehand shot that needs push around 250ft and fade. My son will use it when he has a dog leg left shot or when he needs a big hyzer shot. It is not a throw every shot type of disc for us.

It’s orange I know because we have the same one with the blue/green rim. Online it looked red and I was gonna make it look like a watermelon with some black seeds on the top but when it came in it was definitely orange 😂 I have that glow day green as well and a grey one otw

hey. love your vids. can the cryztal fierce be beat in to be understable, or is it always neutral? i want a glitch/ watt, but i bought a cryztal fierce before i knew it was a neutral fierce, and not a understable version.

    • @CheatingLeftyDiscGolf
      @CheatingLeftyDiscGolf  8 місяців тому +2

It can, but will take a while if using casually. I generally will toss a disc point blank range into a tree for a while to beat it in. Just not on a cold day 🥶. In general the Glitch and Watt are going to be straighter than the Fierce. The Glitch and Watt will hold the line you put them on, while the Fierce will get turn. At least once it is beat in.

@@CheatingLeftyDiscGolf my Zeus surprised me by the glide it has. It doesn't dump and flare skip like the 10 destroyers I've had. It pushes straight at the end very similar to my gstar KRAIT.
