Fission is by far my favorite plastic. Fission Crave and Fission Insanity is where its at. The fission insanity is stupid flippy like this Time Lapse. This video helped me decide on getting one, even if i dont have the arm speed for a 12
Flat and nose down my purple one gets a little turn too. Nothing like this fission one. Come back if you remember to after you get it and let me know how it flies for you!
Bring Cole back for sure. Thanks for the Time Lapse video and review. I appreciate your point of view. First time viewer, but I subbed for sure. Thanks James.
Great video, I'm experimenting in that similar style disc. I lost my lighter G Star Wraith & they didn't have the weight I wanted so I tried the Kastaplast Vass 12,5,-1.5,2 & may found something with it.
16:30 I got a blue-on-blue one, got 423ft with a slight downhill in an open field. Way lighter than I'm used to but I'm excited to try it on a course cos the light weight may open up some new lines for me on my local courses. Great vid and review!
I've had fission envy for over almost 2 year and from my experience fission plastic will worn out fast than other plastics example neutron plastic ones. My envy is now hyzeflip disc and almost doesnt have the fade at the end.
Cole's technique seemed very good and he ripped! From other fission timelapse videos it seems that a heavier ones will also be less stable than neutron, but not as much as your light weight one is. Remember that it will beat in to quite a bit less stable than it currently is. Im going to get on in >170g which will hopefully be just perfect stability.
I agree, I like how soon his off arm comes in. Something I need to work on for sure. I’m new to fission so definitely curious how fast it beats in. Might end up getting a heavier weight too.
My son came to see you backflip, was disappointed, and left with my Fission Timelapse! Bring Cole back, bring Cole back, bring Cole back! Play worst shot dubs!!
@@FlippyJamesDG They are the RareAir stamped Time-Lapse and lab 2nd timelapses from OTB. I wouldn't say they are flippy, but they turn a bit and don't fade extremely hard. Thrown on anny and they tend to hold but they can still be ripped on forehand.
@@FlippyJamesDG Sure, but the Time-Lapse is a distance disc designed for one of the best arms in the game. If it takes finding a Time-Lapse that's essentially out of spec to do what you want, did you actually want a Time-Lapse in the first place? I hate the idea that lower-power players should be looking for outlier versions of pro-focused discs instead of regular discs that fly as designed. If you can't throw a Destroyer, the solution isn't a comically domey Destroyer, it's a Wraith. I realize your situation as a UA-camr is a little different from a regular player, in that exploring runs is part of content churn, and that disc golf industry turns on convincing people that they need the new hot disc instead of actually learning to throw their Teebird properly. It's still an odd phenomenon.
That kid was crushing it, lol.
1000%
Liking the angle release slow mo. Super cool idea
Thank you! 👊
Cole was crushing out there!
Definitely!
Fission Rhythm is one of my favorite flip up discs. Thing goes forever. Cant wait to try a fission time lapse
Hope you love the new time-lapse! Haven’t thrown a rhythm yet. They do look flippy though!
@@FlippyJamesDG fission ones have some dome to them as well. Neutron is typical MVP (flat)
Streamline Jet is a super fun disc.
Imo MVP should have all of their distance drivers in fission. Fission delirium would be cool.
I’m going to have to start looking for them more if they’re as good as this one.
@@FlippyJamesDGthe fission Tesla is still beeeeefy haha
fission fireball is still overstate and flies FOREVER before it fades, crazy distance for a 9 speed os slot
@@samdoss1736 he has a video with the fireball.
I have one somewhere here with a 160g fission fireball. Ultimately, the new z flex jawbreaker cap rap earned the spot.
Really appreciate the slow mo drives in post. makes me keep watching!
Thanks for that feedback! Happy to hear it helps!

Thank you for letting me know that! Very much appreciated!
Yes fission insanity is my bomber disc.
Doubles match with Cole. Best shot low score
Doubles would be fun!
I'll be watching for the Cole crushes it vid.
I’m already excited for it. Think we’re going to try and set something up for next month!
Just stumbled across your channel and immediately subscribed. Big fan of your delivery and style. Stoked to keep up with your content! Cheers, dude.
Thank you so much for that man! Happy you’re here!
I'm excited to try these. My Neutron ones turn just a little but these look like they turn a lot. I'll probably keep one of each in the bag.
Flat and nose down my purple one gets a little turn too. Nothing like this fission one. Come back if you remember to after you get it and let me know how it flies for you!
Yes get Cole that was awsome.
I think it has to happen!
1. More Cole get him back on!
2. I’m new where and I think you’re very underrated
3. You seem to have a kind demeanor and good attitude. Keep it up!
1. Agreed
2. Who’s been rating me!? Just joking 😝
3. I appreciate it! Happy you’re here!
Bring Cole back for sure. Thanks for the Time Lapse video and review. I appreciate your point of view. First time viewer, but I subbed for sure. Thanks James.
Hey I appreciate that comment! Thank you! Cole should be showing up in July. Happy you’re here 😃
LOL he was giddy happy on that 1st throw when it started to turn. His cheerleader clap was hiliarious!
Haha I’m here you can talk to me 😝
Your explanation was spot on. Almost jumped up and did a toe touch.

I've been playing about 20yrs the sport is blowing up making content seems smart. I subscribed that TimeLapse flight was very nice.
Cole is a super star! Bring him back !!!
We’ve been talking, looking like July!

I’ve seen pictures now of a few blue on blue ones and they look great! What weight is yours?
Also, thank you!
After seeing that interaction with that dude, im subscribing.
Glad that was something that helped you decide! Happy you’re here!

I haven’t kept anything fission in the bag long enough to really know so thanks for sharing that!
Good video man. I find that echostar and fizzy beats in fast but keeps some fade. These 2 discs are a great comparison.
Thank you so much! I’m wondering if this fizzy will get more understable than the echo star.

Cole teaches you to CRUSH.
You teach Cole to FLIP.
Haha we’ll start with cartwheels. Plot twist, what if he already knew how to flip?
Here we go!!!!! 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Bring Cole on!!!
Chatting now!
@@FlippyJamesDG heck yeah brother!!! I genuinely think it could be cool just to see the whole “same disc, different arms” kind of content too! 🫡
i throw a 162g fission Octane as my bomber, i can get it about 480ft consistently and over 500ft on good feeling days! fission is the best!
Huuuuge throws!
Having cole in your future videos is a good idea to see different throws with the same disc
I agree!
Definitely have Cole back and hand him a Swarm!
I don’t have a swarm yet. But if I had a bag full of one plastic, it’d be that z flex jawbreaker for sure.
Cole was amazing!
Agreed
Lets goooo cole
He rocked!
UPDATE: Got a 169 blue on blue fizzy today. It BOMBS!! It’s so flippy too. Like a beat in neutron vanish haha
Blue on blue sounds cool! Hope you love it!
@@FlippyJamesDG oh I do brother! I’ll send ya a pic on insta. I just have to learn to finesse this bad boy.
My son came to see you backflip, was disappointed, and left with my Fission Timelapse!

Back was still a little tweaked. Next video they’re back in!
Also, Cole and I are definitely doing doubles at some point. Worse shot could be fun!
@@FlippyJamesDG 🔥🔥🔥
I want my timelapse to fly like a wave. Finally got my destroyer beat in to fly like a wave, maybe I should just buy waves
Haha I think you should just buy waves too 😂
Every one of my neutron time-lapse were somewhat flippy and turned quite a bit.
You got those runs from Drew Gibson’s first video haha

"Too Cole for Soles"
He sent me a picture of a pair of Idios the other day 😝
You have talent invest in self
Thank you!
You should just rename this video something something cole.
Gotta make sure it gets the clicks so people can see his throws 😝
Dude, you have a mouse nesting in your ear
Gonna have to elaborate on that one.
halo plastic vs fission has to be a terrible comparison tbh. star woulds been better
This is what came in the box and that’s why the echo star was shown so much in the video…
You and Chasin Chains copy eachother? Y’all uploaded almost the exact same thumbnail and the topic is the same.
Nope we’ve never talked.
I'll never understand why a player who can't throw 500' would want to use a disc designed specifically for a player who throws 700'+
If it fits your hand, does exactly what you want, then it’s the perfect disc. Doesn’t have to be the disc that goes the farthest for you.
@@FlippyJamesDG Sure, but the Time-Lapse is a distance disc designed for one of the best arms in the game. I use distance drivers solely for forehand throws. More torque resistance, fits the hand nicely for sidearm, more consistent.
I don't like the hand-feel of the Time Lapse at all compared to Destroyers, though.
This is way too much disc for you man
What’s the highest speed disc in your bag?
I disagree Stephen I was there and James rips it
Dang I haven’t seen farm strong applied to smooth disc golf. Team Cole all day🫡
Do I bring my horses out for the video with him 😝
