Thank you all for making my husband's last 3 months so enjoyable for him - and for me. Caroline &Jack.
I just finished watching Downton Abbey for the first time. I absolutely fell in love with this series and didn’t want it to end. Bravo 👏👏👏👏👏👏
British artists have this wondrous gift of working with restraint and understatedness yet coming up with pure staggering glory!
The audience is hypnotized! You could hear a pin drop. What a voice!
And Lady Mary turned him down for Henry Talbot?!? This man can sing me a lullaby Every night for the rest of my life!! 💜🎶💜🎶💜🎶💜🎶💜🎶💜🎶💜🎶💜🎶💜🎶
He should have a record! His voice was amazing!
only Brirtish can create outstanding period drama, thanks to brilliant crew and actors. I hope Julian Fellowes will create some more.
I finally watched Downton Abbey last week! I'm obsessed! 😩❤️💕I cant even proceed to a next series now because my heart and spirit is totally stilli in Downton Abbey
Wow, Julian has a fantastic voice. I'm mesmerized!
Charles Blake was my favourite suitor for Mary.
AAron Thom ME TOO! Think they would have been so well suited, and he could have really helped her insure the legacy and continuance of the estate. After Matthew, he was my favorite for her. Wait a minute, I forgot this was just a show 🤣
@@rebeccahopkins9522 honestly Downton affects my life ins I many ways lol. It feels like it’s real
YES! To me, he was the only one of "Mary's men" that offered the same challenge to her temperament as Matthew. I loved their scenes together
I too
I quite agree, after Matthew, Charles Blake was my favourite suitor for Mary.
I watched Downton Abby when it was playing for the first time. Then I bought the DVD of the first season, then the same for the second season... so on and so forth; I bought the whole darn amazing series each time a new one came out, then bought an extended version with all the extra tidbits, deleted scenes, and whatnot. Then I bought more when the first film came out and then the second one. Apparently, they have a third film in the making. Of Course, I went to Highclere Castle, I'm Canadian from Montreal, and I also bought the book on how Almina Wombell saved Highclere Castle, which also tells us that her husband Lord Carnavon, with the funds from Almina, made it possible to discover Tutankamon tomb. Almina was the illegitimate child of Alfred De Rothschild. At the time of their wedding, Alfred gave Lord Carnavon FIVE million (in real actual 1895 funds.) Then, a few months later, she asked again for more money, and Alfred gave her eight million more. When Alfred died, she was the only beneficiary of his will. It was an immense fortune but Almina was not someone spending her fortune on frivolities, she made it very good around her.
Тhank you from Bulgaria !
Спасибо! Thank you from Russia!❤️
This show was also very popular here in Trinidad and Tobago 🇹🇹
Julian wow what a voice. I love ❤️ love ❤️
Who knew Blake had a voice like that! If he’d used it on Mary he just may have had a shot 🤣certainly sings better than she did.
Omg!Michelle's face at the end of Blake's performance
Love Julian singing the verse! What a voice!
Jim Carter is actually hilarious!
Shouldn't they have invited/awarded the actual Earl and Lady of Highclere Castle, given that their house is a character in the series. Even here, the backdrop of the castle looks so dramatic
"Maggie on the Merlot at 8 in the morning."
I was to see "The Two Charlies" come out and do a dance routine.
since when could he sing!💖💗💔❤😘😍💋
10:24 omg what a well put together trailer, got chills
you made me laugh
What a voice!!!! Have goosebumps.
Who knew Blake had a voice like that! If he’d used it on Mary he just may have had a shot 🤣certainly sings better than she did.
@@rebeccahopkins9522 Michelle Dockery (Mary) sings too. That would have been lovely
If they'd had Charles sing on the show, Mary would have eloped with him immediately!
Talented actors
Also in Argentina was very famous, and with subtitles, not in Spanish.
Thank you so much...
Those foreign dubs are something else tho. I myself only speak English but when watching foreign films or shows I much prefer subtitles vs dubs. To each their own tho
I'm just Wondering if any of the cast ever got Married to each other once the show had finished as I was thinking of the Actress who Played Lady Edith and her long term Boyfriend Michael
The actor who portrays Mr Carson is married to Imelda Staunton (Aka Umbridge from Harry Potter) who made an appearance in the movie of Downton
I was convinced Brendan and Jo were married in real life, their chemistry was superb lol
No Emma you have got it wrong there but I do agree with you about the Chemistry being there
The only ones i know of are Edith and Andy
He was in "Foyle's War" too.
Imagine: the people who work so hard to make the house "work" used to be called the pittance receiving "staff;" now they are called "professionals" and they make small fortunes.
Wow! Who knew? I had no idea. I must search for more!
Makes no sense to watch Downton in other languages, and I'm from Latin
America.
The Aussie trailer! Lol.
Oh my goodness!
Brazil \o/
andrew foyle can sing ! Sam should have married him ....oh sorry , wrong show ! [Foyles War ] . Seriously , what a voice !
Andrew Foyle

Why did Bates show up on April 16, 1912, Tuesday for his first day of work? odd day to show up. Fact Titanic sunk was not known until 6/7 pm EST on April 15.
England is 5 hours ahead of eastern coast USA. We know Titanic sunk a little before 2 am but where it was would be one hour and half ahead of east coast like St. John Newfoundland is 90 minutes ahead of New York. So 5:30 AM in England. the papers were late in the first episode because they reprinted them after receiving the telegram about Titanic sinking.
@@ThePeachygal It sank at 2:20 am
@@itsme-sn5gi you missed my point. MY POINT WAS the East cost North America for the most part is 5 hours behind England. I do know Newfoundland is 90 minutes ahead of New York so not as far behind England. There may be also some North American coastal islands even nearer to England's time than Newfoundland I don't know. So it depends upon where the ship sank as to the time in reference to England and New York for that matter. The fact that it sank at 2:20 AM(even if New York time) does not mean the papers could not have picked it up by telegraph.(if New York time 7:20 in England) Remember in the story Carson was angry that the papers were late. I do think they would have known way before evening in England thanks to the telegraph. However, even if it was Tuesday before they found out why couldn't Bates start work on a Tuesday? We all know the famous comment of Violet on "What is a weekend?" Servants worked 7 days a week for the most part, usually only given a couple of hours on Sundays to attend church and a half day once a week.
😅
8:25 Scotland!!!! How dare he? 😡 Sick of him and his like taking a pop at a whole race of clever and inventive people ..... Sick of it! 😡
But didn’t Mary marry Charles Blake?
No, she married Ozymandias
Henry Talbot
THAT'S WHAT IM SAYING
@@rosejudge398 Charles Blake was engaged to Miss Lane Fox I believe. He gave an ultimatum to Mary, that he'll always choose Mary over Miss Lane Fox if she's certain that she loved him, but Mary told him that she's not ready yet to move on from Matthew's Death (This was Season 5, Mary's still mourning and 'ignored' a lot of prospective suitors)
Alex Shuysky no you’re thinking of lord gillingham
