EDIT: The blue screensaver seems to have disappeared off the web, so i'm hosting a zip of the kapersky screensaver and a zip of the blue and green retroscifi screensaver from a dropbox.

cool, I am a big fan of blue lighting. Did you check out the map at map.norsecorp.com/ ? It might fit your theme as well.

sure, it's just a video of an old screensaver and it's meant for sci fi ambience whether you wanna just have it on in a room, and i'm sure it's ok to use in a student film.

Save the source file, open it in an NLE app, convert to grayscale and then add color of your choice. Render the result. Voila!
Better: Crop the source file into subscreens for more credibility (no UI worth its salt will cram that much data on a single display, it'd be overwhelming,) and you can even set different colors for different displays. At least map different colors to different displays before rendering.
Someone sure sweated bullets over this to create it, by the way. It's simply marvellous.
I've actually re-recorded this for 12 hours the other day, and I remembered this comment which is way older than I thought and added a filter in OBS to make it red.
