Yep. He was an interesting and probably the most powerful villain in the series. Furthermore was responsible for a lot of damage.
That last action sequence in season 2 was pure Bayhem (I know, Michael Bay was also involved as an executive producer on the show.)

I really enjoyed season 3, though I feel the plot was just in full sprint at the start.
This isn’t a diss towards S3 at all either but:
There was just a distinct feeling with seasons 1 and 2.
Season 1 really built things up super super well with the villain.
Season 2 had really strong villain storylines and conflicts too, but also was more action packed and had some really intense scenes that still stick with me.
Season 3 was good don’t get me wrong, it just felt different after finishing it. That, and the plot felt really predictable at times. I remember least two-three times going “have a really bad feeling dudes gonna die” and then like less than 5 min later they’re dead lol.
Again, throughly enjoyed the season tho, finished all of it in one night. There was some really good scenes too,

one reason I enjoy series/movies like this is because it creates real world events and possibilities. Jack Ryan pretty much hits the nail on the head with that, but they lost me with the last two episodes of season two. And I hope it doesn't continue.
I get they are operating under black ops, but the fact that Jack Ryan literally gets to run around and do WHATEVER he wants is just getting old and extremely unrealistic. that, and can someone explain to me what happened to the Venezuelan air force to allow a Blackhawk helicopter not only inside their airspace, but just nonchalantly land on the presidential palace? and can you imagine what would happen if the world would see a Blackhawk full of Americans storming the palace of another country, we aren't at war with?
I mean i started looking for Dwayne Johnson to pop up the last 15 minutes of episode 8.
Right....I was almost thinking of trying to rewatch from the beginning cuz it's felt so unrealistic recently that I was like how did we even get from a desk job to this?
Like the show but unfortunately real senators are never held accountable for their actions.
Season 3 is top notch. 3 > 1 > 2 for me

@@testbot6899 I loved first season it had me through every episode. season 2 just kind of lost me with the last few episodes. with the open military action against the Venezuelan government/military. it was just extremely unrealistic. As if you're flying a Blackhawk to the presidential palace lol.
The series is just wonderful but still don't get who sleeps with a unknown person especially when you are in a country as a CIA 😅😅isnt it basic spy rules that you can't trust anyone??how was Rayan a ex marine so quick to jump to bed with Harriet.😅😅

Loved seasons 1and 2. I was so looking forward to season 3, but found it a bit muddled. I had a hard time following it. Still really liked it but not as much as the first 2.
Season 2 was the best for many reasons. They keep killing the show with bad writing and cheap production value. Season 3 starts off like a bad CBS show.
The stupid boat repair guy, he was told to stay in the boat, but he never listened to instructions. People who don't listen to instructions will face their consequences. Too bad. Good thing they left ... Leaving him behind. That's what you get for not listening.

Oooh Trust me I grew up watching 24 with my father he's the one that got me into this series. And I'm definitely not saying 24 is bad it's just that Jack Ryan and 24 have something in common several perhaps. Compelling story lines, action sequences, twist and turns, however what Jack Ryan don't have is how events occur in real time that's what separates 24 from other TV series I grew up watching thus far

The TV series has turned Jack Ryan into a generic gung ho badass instead of a brilliant analyst getting caught in field operations like fish out of water. It's fun to watch but don't expect the more cerebral movie version.

The character Jack Ryan is not this interesting.
Man 2 was boring
"He is a male chauvinist! He doesn't do well with powerful women!", "What man does?!". Yep...that is the kind of writing and dialogue we have to look forward to in this season. Never mind the new, awful casting additions like Betty Gabriel...and others... yikes!
