Listening to Jack; no nonsense, no excuses allowed, just hard work.

Back in the 60’s, I remember when our grandmother would watch his exercise shows and have us jumping all over the living room and having fun . Those were the good old days .

If you're lucky, life is a battlefield. Some do not even get to put up a fight....

I was just thinking about Jack the other day. I used to watch his show every day as a kid.

I'm 55 and old enough to remember when Mr Lalsnne would come on TV every morning. I'd listen to him. He had his own Chain of Health Clubs as well. A real Pioneer

Yes, I worked for the organization three times; although, never lasted more than a few months because they did not pay well, unless you were promoted to management, which generally took two or three years.

Now I know why my mom watched him religiously. What a positive influencer. (I just thought those Dr Denton speedsuits were ridiculous.)

This guy is insane. A pioneer. He did something crazy like swim from Alcatraz to Fishermen’s Wharf towing a boat.

Compare this to the guy claiming you can eat pizza and lose weight on some of the UA-cam commercials...

Jack posed nude - under the guise of art - in "muscle magazines" in the 1950s.

He'd be angry and saddened that those people allowed themselves to become so overweight. Yet, Jack was a man of compassion, so he would also give them a lot of credit and encouragement for making the effort to do something about it.

You may have won the battle, Jack, but the war has been lost and I am thankful you aren't alive to see the obesity that plagues this country today.

Who is "they?" If you mean doctors, then absolutely not. No doctor encourages obesity. Listen to your doctor, rather than raging on the Internet over random twitter accounts' pseudo-scientific opinions.
