- Jack LaLanne Introduces his mother on the show! They discuss health and fitness and the transformation they both experienced by changing their lifestyles. If you are a fan this is a must watch. This clip will take you inside the mind of the man who changed the country then the world.
From Wikipedia: "LaLanne died of respiratory failure due to pneumonia at his home on January 23, 2011. He was 96. According to his family, he had been sick for a week, but refused to see a doctor. They added that he had been performing his daily workout routine the day before his death."
The day before he died! Now that's inspiring. I do exercise regularly, and when I plan out my routine I often think of Jack Lalanne's example of staying fit and being older. What a guy!
When he called her mommy my heart just melted!🥹. You’re never too old to love your mother that way! May he rest in peace he was a good man and I wish there was somebody who could equal him today in his morals and his teachings too!
Jack Lalanne started my mom on the road to a fit healthy life and I remember exercising right along with her as a child... She is now 93 years young! 😊👍🏼💕 how very sweet he is to his mom and what a lovely woman...This is so very inspiring... Everyone should watch this! Love him!
My mom and I also exercised with Jack Lalanne in the mornings after my older siblings got on the school bus.
He calls her mommy. How sweet.
Jack Lalanne practiced what he preached. He deeply loved his mother.
ABSOLUTELY RIGHT ABOUT Jack LaLanne!
At 78 she has the energy and health of a teenaged girl and totally cute too. Jack's mom is like him an inspiration.
Jack Lalanes mom seemed very nice, and he's very nice to his mom
Jack was 46 and his mom was 78 in this video. He looks 30 and she looks 65. Shows the Benefits of taking care of yourself.
I love Jack but he does not look 30 here 😂.
@@doubanjiang Then how old does he look according to you? 300?
@@Kaledrone honestly he looks his age. I’d say mid 40’s easy
LOVE THE DRESS AND THE GLOVES AND FLOWERS.....
Jack has such respect and love for his Mom! It is beautiful to see that
That's the reason Mr Lalanne was so Blessed....
People of the past are much more different from the people of our years. Wonderful human beings.
It seems to prove that we are devolving instead of evolving
I love how he calls us "Students" 💕
Great vid. It would seem that UA-cam and the internet are saving things like this that'd otherwise be lost in the passage of time.
Great point!
Jack’s show should be required for everyone to watch especially in schools. The world would be a better place. Such a wonderful video. Thank you for sharing this with us.
Yes, they should have a dance class or something for 10-15 minutes on the hour where kids are allowed to jump around and act silly before the next class.
It would help grades, too.
Such a great clip. I came across Jack Lalanne when I was overseas in Korea about a decade ago (shortly before he passed). Not only was he a visionary par excellence, he seems like a really outstanding guy. Thanks for posting.
“Mommy” ❤️
Jack & his Mom...they are so sweet !! so inspiring..every son who watches this video wants to be a Jack for his mom..they are adorable in its truest sense
Ahhh the white gloves, memories! May the good LORD bless and keep you, Jack! As a very young child I would work out with him, I'm still slender and active, at 75 b/c of his good teaching.
OMG this is the sweetest video of Jack and his Mom....
When I turned 40 (quite a few years ago) my husband gave me a white German Shepherd. I fell in love with his beautiful dogs watching him with my mother when I was a kid. They were magnificent creatures. Heidi (my Shepherd) lived 13 years.
I love their guarding spirit.
Rotties are a personal favorite. They're like the sheps, only more social.
They'll go to great lengths to guard their peeps.
I used to have one that was a client dog. I had her 12 hours, her owner had her 12 hours...
We'd go to the dog park and a dog wouldn't stop barking at me. She flew across the park to stand between us.
Three times. Same badly trained dog.
Jack was wonderful, and a Momma's boy just like me! :)
Boy, did we used to dress the part. Miss those more civil times, and when keeping up appearances was what we all did.
YES.
We would always watch Jack and Happy.
I LOVE Jack! I'd pay $$ to have this whole show on DVD. PLEASE?
It would be great to give to the libraries. Or post online. The while episodes.
He attended a little lecture by Paul Bragg, who everyone is drawing from and no one seems to give him a mention these days.
Are you referring to the same Paul Bragg behind the popular apple cider vinegar?
Jack always mentioned that attending a Paul Bragg lecture saved his life.
@@vidform I would think it is, I use both the vinegar and the Liquid Amino.
I just hope my family loves each other like that
I'm glad I found these Jack LaLanne videos I remember my mom watching them, and me too. She had one of those glamour stretchers I used to play with.
*LEGEND* !!!
Aw, that is sooooo sweet
Jack LaLanne Just Love ❤ 😍 💖 ❣ 💕 💘 HIS Mom 👩 😄 😀 ❤ 🤣 😆 !
All I can say is this is AWESOME
Shes saying about not eating white bread back in the early 50s. Her mentioning it lacking nutrition is insane its this way ahead of its time when I was in school in the early 90s the food pyramid didn't even mention wheat bread of whole grain flour. Jack juicing was decades ahead and making the first real gym and leg machine. If he would of been in control in the eighties and had a role in are food in America we would of been one the healthiest country's instead of the sickest..
There weren't many fat people then that I saw.
I don't know about lack of fiber in juicing...I have one but I always use the pulp.
sweet jack loves his mom ♥︎ so cute "i'm a farmer-tete" :) .. she is correct: de-mineralize means removing essential trace minerals creating lack of nutrients
78 years young. Didn't think they said that back then.
Mrs Lalanne at 78, not one Wrinkle on Mrs Lalanne face and so Vibrant
I ❤️ hope She Lives many 🙏 year's
Into the future...I'm 77 and Don't have Her Vitality...I need to find Mr

Wonderful!❤🙏💪
That is wild. Someone on video stating they were born in the damn 1800s. I'm mindfucked.
So awesome and inspiring!
Knowledge is power!
Two-inch quad videotape produced at KTTV Channel 11 in Hollywood.
So many good things to note in this video. Very interesting to me that this native French woman did not bring her native dietary knowledge/beliefs/habits into the "New World". Someone should have told her which camera was on. I see they left the plastic on the lampshade. Ah well, just looking around. What a gem!
Jack was a saint.
Hero.
This was 1961. Jack was 46 years old.
AS A NATIVE SAN FRANCISCAN AS WAS JACK I CAN ONLY SAY HIS MOM PICKED THE RIGHT CITY TO SETTLE IN..AND ITS FAMOUS FOR FRENCH RESTAURANTS TOO.
Wonderful
Can you still get this book?
Long life NO drugs!!!!
Errmosisima mujer
01:55 How come on google Jennie is mentioned as born in 1884...
Fond memories. Now just junk TV.
