2021 Can-Am Defender Xmr: 2 inch bracket lift installation/review

- We got our hands on this 2021 canam defender xmr camo edition and immediately started installing some goodies we started off with a bracket lift from kemimoto and also put on some 33 inch tires!
The larger the tire the less torque at the wheel and the need to carry an extra belt.
The dealer also said that lifting it and adding larger wheels/tires unless factory approved, voids the warranty.
So...I lifted my buggy years ago in my garage, but I couldn't put the new wheels/tires on bc I only have a 7' high door. Got it done, rolled around to get the suspension unsprung. I should have cleared by just a half inch, but I never accounted for the raised apron on the driveway that helps keep snow away from the door seal so it doesn't freeze and smacked my door pulling out. Luckily it only put a small dent on the inside of the bottom panel. A little rattle can black on the top of the cage (roof was off thankfully) and I was golden. I laugh every time I see the dent

Still one of my favorite SxS of all time.. we miss our 2019 XMR defender... We had her up to 20 inches of ground clearance up front.
He already wants to go bigger😂

Haha yeah it does look pretty funny! We will be going a different setup on it very soon.
What brand of windshield? And how do you like it?
I think it was a superatv winshild! And it works good!

With that bracket lift, will 35's rub or will they be fine?

Great video! Thanks for sharing. I put 30" ACP frontlines on my stock 2021 and they rub pretty bad, Are you still liking the Kimemoto lift? Can you tell me what brand of winch bumper that is? I have been stuggling to find one made for a 2021. Thanks
For the kemi moto lift it does wat its supposed to do im sure there are more well build ones out there though. The bumper comes stock on the xmr. I can look around and see what I can find though!

I just went on the kemi moto site and it says that it won’t fit a 2020 XMR. I was wondering the same thing too because I would like to get them for my 21 XMR crew

Thinking about doing the same lift with 32s. What was rubbing? Curious if I will need spacers.
You can fit 32s no problem

Did you put spacers up front?
The wheel adapters are 1 inch all the way around I think he was gonna do 2 in the rear and one in the front because the front is alot wider now.

No issues at all! It really doesn't need it but it does look better with them!

Im not to sure what brand they are. He just brought them to us when we installed them. But I would recommend a good name brand set just to be safe!
Its not going to fit in that garage when your done, maxed for height right now
