Nice work fellas! That bus looks meaner every time I see it!
Thanks bro!! We love it
Dirt ObseXXion why dont you add turbo charger on it its gonna be bad ass
I really enjoyed watching this, you guys are going in the right direction. I like how you explain everything and show how to do. And clean enough I can let my nephew n my niece watch it. Keep up the good work
Thank you very much! We appreciate your encouragement! It means a lot and we will always keep it clean! We are just a bunch of family guys that love to ride and enjoy doing that with our families.
Dang that is one nice machine. Great video nice job. One thing that makes me nervous is how come nobody's drinking a beer ha.
Boom! A beast of an upgrade! Awesome as always!
Awesome job on the camera bro
No problemo! Glad to help!
Thanks for the videos! After watching your stuff about the Defender XMR max I bit the bullet and went get one. Definitely a great machine! Put out a few videos about it on my channel. Thanks, keep up the good work!
Thanks man yeah the defender is a tank!
Great job guys
Thanks guys!!!
How bad is the angle on the CV joints now with that bracket lift installed ?
I’d be stoked if you could post a pic of how well the tires line up looking down the side. I know you mentioned you should have probably just got 1” spacers, but it measured within a 1/2” overall. Just curious how it looks. BTW: great video’s and thanks for keeping them clean. Kiddos and I enjoy watching them together. Thanks!
Don't have a picture but the front was a bit wider you couldn't tell unless you looked hard.
What is your overall height of the bus after the 33's and the 2" lift kit? Did the lift kit help eliminate the tire rub on the fender?
Not sure on overall lift but there was no rubbing that I can remember
Shit this thing makes me feel better about 30s on my Tx edition, 33s good lord.
Fantastic looking machine. I might have missed it but what was the overall height in the end, and is that with the preload on the shocks all the way up? How stiff is the ride with them all the way up or does the max extra weight compensate well? Man I want one. Length for me in central Ontario trail riding is my only concern. Great video though!
If the length is ur concern based on turning radius, then you will be happy with it because the turning radius is really really good.. also the shocks are turned up all the way and itz still very smooth riding and also the ground clearnce is 19 and 1/2 inches
Thanks so much for the quick reply and the info guys. I am going to check one out next week and bring along the Mrs to see how generous she feels. Love your videos, keep em coming and your channel will grow for sure. Just the right mix of humour and actual info and reviews, and obvious love for your machines... just awesome! Thanks again.
@@rippinEH and we thank you for the encouragement!! It means a lot to us and motivates us to keep putting videos together!
@ LC Powersports Any issues with the bracket lift since its been installed? seems like there not designed for rear arched A arms, but everyone is running them. Just purchased a set for my 2022 Max limited.
We didn't have any issues.
I love your videos! I'm waiting for my 2021 to come into the dealership. I love your tires and will put the same tires on mine. I think I will go with 32s on 14 inch rims. You have 33s on 15 inch rims, right? Do the 15 inch rims fit or do you have to modify anything?
Sorry, when I say fit, I mean the stock comes with 14 in wheels. Can you put 15 in wheels on the same stock, or did you have to change anything with the wheel hub?
Thanks man!! Yes we did 33s on the 15 inch I believe, but either way they just bolt right up!
@@LCPowersports Awesome!! Thank you
@@bryanrichards7913 no problem! You will love that machine!
My new lone star will be here in a few weeks. What’s the difference between this bracket lift and the rings that compress the springs? Assuming this bracket lift is better and easier to install. Any other pros or cons between the 2?
I would stick with the brackets. The rings seem to make the ride stiff. Thats just my opinion. Congrats on the lone star that will be a awesome machine
How do the tires ride down the road vs. the stock? I hate how choppy the factory ITP tires are going down a packed down dirt road on my 2020 xmr. Im about to pull the trigger on the same set up after watching this video 48 times im just hoping these ones ride better
They ride very smooth! But the defender road great all around! Probly the smoothest unit iv ever road in!
@@LCPowersports good deal! i ordered almost the same setup on my 2020 xmr they will be here tomorrow! I miss how smooth my x3 was but this has been my favorite buggy so far
Did u lose much power with the lift and bigger tires?
Nothing to noticable top end changed alittle.
Hi Guys, can I ask a wheel size question. I'm looking to add the System 3 XT 300s to my xmr. I'm going to put on the 32s. The wheel size is 14x7 4/137 with an offset of 5+2. The offset on the stock wheels I believe is 4+3. If I put on the 5+2 offset, will this mean I will need to add a 1.5 wheel spacer in the rear like what you did in this video?
Most likely! I would just do it see how It looks then buy spacers if needed!
@@LCPowersports thank you!!!!
Did this end up working out and driving well? I was going to do the a arms, but if i dont have to spend the money i would rather now. Cheers
Yes it drove great!
What kinda whips do you have and how did you mount them
Go on our channel we did a review on the a few videos back!
These brackets make more sense to me than the spacers on springs some peddle. Is there any downside to lift brackets vs. the spring spacers?
I'm more of a bracket kinda person but I don't see the difference. The brackets are usually easy to install and look better to me!
@@LCPowersports my thought was adding a spacer effectively tightens up the spring but the bracket changes the geometry somewhat. Great video BTW - learned a lot.
@@chipsterb4946 true! Thank you!
did the motohavocs rub at all or was it just the wider xm300 tires?
I believe it was the wider tires
@@LCPowersports thanks for replying so fast keep up the good work👍
Thanks man!
Did this lift change the ride quality?
It did not effect it in a negative way if it effected it any at all.
If anything it helped stiffen it up slightly and take a little of the body roll out.
I'm very happy with it other than it only ended up giving 1 1/2" of lift. Instead of the full 2"
Would be interested if you find stock suspension and related parts are adequate with those tires and lift or if you find mods are necessary.
Did you take off stabilizer bars
No we kept it on.
@@LCPowersports I have the same can am but not a max thinking about taking off stabilizer bars.
@@mikeriley4208 we removed the one on the teryx4 and it helped alot flexing wise.
@@LCPowersports thank you
Where you guys located at?

@@LCPowersports I'm in abita springs Louisiana, close to new Orleans. Was hoping yall were close around to maybe make a ride with your group sometime. Great videos man. Hoping to grow my channel soon and i really like yours.
