NL West will be won by the Padres. Since the trade deadline, they don't have too many weak points in their lineup. Love him or hate him Preller has put together a solid team.
Can you point out the weak points in the DBacks lineup post-deadline? Even with Walker/Moreno out (and Ketel day-to-day), the worst batters are Herrera (the current 3rd string C) and Alexander (who is the 2nd IF backup). The offense improves when all three are back to regular play, and Walker/Moreno are GG-caliber fielders (and Marte is top-3 in the NL by almost every defensive metric at 2B), and it'll squeeze both of Alexander/Herrera off of the Active Roster. I can give you that missing the Platinum Glove Tatis Jr. is a big deal, but what's more impactful defensively? The best defensive RF in the game, the best defensive 1B in the game (handles almost all groundballs), or one the best defensive Cs in the League (handles all pitches)?
Dude wants to yap about the Dodgers injuries like the Dbacks havent been plagued by injuries to half their starting pitchers and half the lineup all year...

Either you didn’t know that, or purposefully neglected to mention it because you’re a hater. Bet anything that if your loser team was missing the vast majority of it’s starting pitching staff, along with numerous impact relief pitchers, along with numerous starters in the field of play - you’d be reminding everyone about it. As far as the Dodgers “billion dollar” roster goes - Ohtani hasn’t and won’t pitch this season. Kershaw only recently started to pitch. Buehler was out most the season and just came back. Gonsolin and May haven’t pitched all season and won’t. Yamamoto has been out for months now. Graterol has been out all season. Bobby Miller was out for a long while. Glasnow just headed to the IR. And that’s just the pitching staff, and there are others not even mentioned! Offensively, Mookie Betts missed several months. While he was out, Freddie Freeman missed several weeks due to his son’s health. Max Muncy has been out for months. Other starters have missed valuable time do to nagging injuries. Point is, your pathetic teams haven’t faced the real Dodgers “billion dollar” roster yet. And deep down you probably recognize that which pisses you off. Because the Dodgers STILL lead the division despite having to field so many minor league call ups and veterans that would never make their 25 man roster under normal circumstances. Have fun knowing your teams won’t have a shot of competing much for the next decade, as has been the case the previous decade. Once the Dodgers become solidified - its over for you.

Dodgers will be in 3rd place by months end. Their starting pitchers can't go more than 5 innings, the BP is wore out and they don't have enough contact hitters. Plus they have the worst manager in the NL west.
How can the Dodgers choke when the real Dodgers players haven’t even been playing? All you guys are getting excited over beating minor league callups and veteran replacement players. Good, great, grand, wonderful. We’ll see what happens when the rest of this season, next season, and beyond as the Dodgers continue to get their pitching staff back and every day players such as Mookie and Muncy.
Who actually won one most recently? Further, which team almost never finishes in first place and had to rely on a wildcard 2nd chance that didn’t used to exist? The Giants once won 103 games and didn’t get bailed out with a “wildcard” while the Dbags win 84 and undeservingly get it. Why even bother playing 162 if the separation doesn’t mean anything? If the Dbags were really any good they’d prove it by winning more games vs. barely being over .500. As stupid as the MLB is, they’ll eventually let every team into the post season to get more ratings and one season some under .500 team will get hot and advance to the WS and their fans will think they’re great too. SMH.
The Dodgers paid 700 million for a guy whos a bunch of solo HR's and has one of the worst batting average with RISP. Ttop 4 is doing nothing. They have 1 guy, 1 GUY! batting over 300. The pitching is a mess. They may be in 3rd place by months end.
Jesus. What a sad pathetic and most of all uneducated post. You mean the guy that is the leading candidate for MVP? A guy about to post the 6th 40/40 season in history and still realistically chasing 50/40 and 50/50, who also happens to be leading the NL in WAR despite only hitting? I sincerely wonder how any of the above is possible given your sad assessment of his abilities. Just imagine how big a lead the Dodgers would have over their pathetic division rivals if Ohtani was actually playing better than you say he is AND if the pitching staff wasn’t such a mess! None of you recognize how pathetic the Padres and Diamondbacks really must be to still be trailing by 3 and 4 games respectively considering how terrible the Dodgers and Ohtani really are. Lmfao.
