that's why the game is so good. On the surface it looks like a fairy tale. Beneath it's a world ensnared in so many lies that it no longer functions properly.

Though you should have your own world, and your own people - lamenting what is already lost..." - K.K The Heavenly Principles choosing the traveler as a successor could be one of their plan. Paimon's programmed but unknown task could be to take the traveler to Celestia cuz of all her celestial motives she shares with the statues of the seven and everything related to celestia (divine nails), and that one melusine's description of paimon of a balloon tied to the sky despite their warped vision of the world Since they weakened after the cataclysm, they had to cut ties with Teyvat for a while to fully recover (a star-beast literally breached the firmament and started consuming the primordial sea energy for example, why would they not intervene if this was a threat to the entirety of Teyvat?) they could look for someone to watch over the world. If an alien was able to subdue the original order but not completly...only another alien will be able to do the same or greater. *Crack theory incoming* : But since they know everyone's fate, maybe they know another catastrophe is about to happen and they have to choose someone powerful enough (another Descender) and fast by the time they recover, bcz they wont be able to intervene again after losing too much power 500 years ago. Maybe the sibling is trying to overthrow celestia because they dont want us (the traveler) to become a slave that has to look over a foreign world for the thousands of years to come, and especially when they told us we'll understand at the end of our journey the meaning of all this. Is the traveler even going back home with our sibling...or are we staying... It's even weirder because of the fact that it was Khaenriah that summoned the travelers...not Celestia..or they "helped" them a bit on purpose without anyone knowing
It's possible that celestia let in the whale, the prophecy was a part of irrminsul. It's likely that they let it in to fulfill the prophecy and while it might be damaging they did want all fontainians returned to their original selves and what's a little bit of collateral damage to the gods above gods. Also the primordial sea isn't their power, it belongs to the dragons
@@isdrakon9802 I talked about this with someone else and in fact their original goal (through the prophecy) was to make oceanids gain their original form back between the humanoid ones in fontaine But the prophecy only stated that "the water level of Fontaine will rise, the people will be drowned and the hydro archon will remain alone weeping on her throne" Focalors didnt manage to stop the prophecy (she wouldn't be able to anyway it is part of Teyvat's fate, inscribed by the Heavenly Principles themselves) , but to deviate its planned consequences (humanoid oceanids turn back to their original form) by giving back the authority over hydro to neuvillette so he can make them true humans. Neuvillette didn't have full control of primordial seawater without the authority over hydro, Focalors had to die for this because it was stolen by Celestia to create the hydro archon's divine throne. The prophecy happened. Creating Egeria and killing the original dragon of water was part of "subduing the original power of this world". All this means that u can't escape a prophecy that Celestia bestowed upon you: fate is set, but there are ways to get away with it, even with that prophecy happening, with the whale or without. I really really wanna know more about Phanes' arrival in teyvat and what they've exactly done until know because they seem to spare some of the dragons even after stealing their elemental authority (apep is alive/ they let Neuvillette rule Fontaine
In the French version of traveler character detail, it roughly the same as the English one but the rather than saying ''the creator has not yet to come'' it goes like ''the one who can save her have yet to appear''. Her refering at the keeper
Would be crazy to find out time is in a loop and the two travelers are like the first two. Destined to destroy the world until celestia has to step it to save it. I believe this is a bigger version of how the sumeru archon quest is. Destined to happen again and again until the descenders wise up to it also kinda fits your fourth theory
time is INDEED IN LOOP TEVYAT IS IN LITERALY LOOP but we are like the fourth descender and third bro god turned into gnosis juice and first one is prbly the OG GOD second might be the craZy dragon boi who got zombified in abyss
Given they the principles are asleep as confirmed by nahida, and the gamble she pulled worked. The heavenly principles may be like venti and only awaken when something world shattering happens or someone is directly challenging celestia itself. The last time they awoke was the cataclysm but they appeared late, after significant damage would've already been done to the world. Not the greatest idea but an interesting one
Since Venti is a descendant of Istaroth who HERSELF is a Shade of the Primordial One that 'created' Celestia, it could actually work like that... maybe that's a trait that gets passed down.
I think the Sustainer is on vacation. Jokes aside, most likely she's either fighting something else or she already spent all her power, and until Celestia gets more allogene juice she's out of commission.
I’m sticking to the idea of Paimon being a Guoba-fied version of Istaroth. We find her next to the shore near the nameless island of Istaroth. She has an upside-down triquetra symbol on her chest, which is only found on the temple of the thousand winds. (All the other ones are right side up iirc). She probably has some inkling of who she is but is afraid of what we’ll think if we find out. And 3.4 Paimon finishing Venti’s line about seeds of stories being brought by the wind and cultivated by time is a HARDCORE TELL. That was the most blatant hint so far. She has never read that line before. And it PREDATES VENTI. Because you can find an older version of the poem on the nameless island. Something like “Stories brought by the wind will turn into legends in due time.” And her having “rainbow strings that reach up above the sky” probably refers to her link to the primordial one. Since Istaroth is a shade of the primordial one.
Istaroth was in the story at the same time as paimon tho. Didnt she help ei plant the sacred sakura? Unless it was a red herring it literally disproves paimon being istaroth
They are likely in a state of hibernation to recover from injuries sustained during the war with the Second Who Came, and will only move if something on par or worse than the Cataclysm happens.
The CN version heavily implies she's dead or dying, which supports Theory 1. It's in the Traveler's Lore 1, but the English version screwed it up. EN Version: "The keeper is fading away; the creator has not yet come. But the world shall burn no more, for you shall ascend." CN version, makes it abundantly clear that the "keeper" it's talking about is the Sustainer of Heavenly Principles: "The sustainer is passing away; the creator has not yet come. But the world shall burn no more, for you shall ascend to the seat of "the god."" If she is alive, she's probable not in the best physical condition. Or she's already gone. It's unclear... But rhe Archons seem to not be aware that she's on her deathbed.
I think I'm starting to suspect that the "Heavenly Principles" is not a single being but an organization, with the Sustainer (Azmoday) having been it's member. As Neuvilette's allegory suggests, the organization may have been running even if the "principles" they were based on, The Primordial One, may have been long gone, perhaps going so far as to suspect that Azmoday was it's last functioning member. Whatever happened to her during the Cataclysm either killed her or made her unable to function further. If she had any underlings then they are now what's left, perhaps being completely unable to influence Teyvat's current events, thus appearing "silent".
Ever since the latest AQ i'm only thinking "How do the Heavenly principles just don't care about that" I can't imagine it being such a little problem that the authority of the hydro archon was given back to the hydro dragon, Focalors killed herself and that there are no more the seven but the six. Plus Neuvillette as a fully fledged dragon now gained even more power now and wants to "punish" the Usurper with this power. But i guess Genshins gonna be Genshin and nothing will actually happen even after Focalors deceived the heavenly principles and "shook the rules established by celestia" which would for me be a huge signal that shit is going to go down soon enough and not that we're happily living on our lives, recording movies and celebrate festivals. I don't know.. Heres hoping 4.6 will deliver on that.
Yes, destruction of the Hydro throne in Celestia certainly looks like something that would wake everybody there. So perhaps theory 1 or 4 is right - either Celestia is unable to do anything about it, or it expects the Traveler to pick up the slack. Or both.
@@Anna-sd4zlIts almost 4.7 now and the AQ was in 4.2. I would have loved if in 4.3 something would have happened like a reaction. But smh even that didn't awake the Heavenly principles though i'd think this is something huge happening.. btw no hate against Genshin. I love the story. I just found that a bit of a missed opportunity.
Hmm.... maybe the Hexenzirkle Witches were the ones keeping them quiet and distracted from everything going on in Teyvat. But nah, we know Alice is strong enough to just leave Teyvat as she wishes, but why would they care about the Heavenly Principles after all this time😂
For me the Heavenly Principles has to be at the Moon or is the Moon itself, could be a Moon Sister or related to them, this is because all "final bosses" and "final stages" of Hoyoverse is the Moon. And Kiana is the one character who always fulfills her Destiny at the Moon, which in this game is the Sustainer of Heavenly Principles. In the latest Lantern Rite Xianyun looked at the Moon and says: "Fate is fickle. The cruel reality of this world is that suffering and misfortune can befall any of us without design or reason." Hoyoverse's first game was FlyMe2TheMoon where Kiana's Destiny is to fly to the Moon, this has continued to be the case for every single Hoyoverse game with Kiana, the Moon represents Fate and Destiny itself in Hoyoverse. Kiana will go to the moon and become the Herrscher of The End/ Finality, which is the embodiment of Destiny; And in Genshin she is the Sustainer of Heavenly Principles, which means she is the Sustainer of Destiny. Previously it was Yoimiya's chapter 2 where she talks about Origin and Destiny while looking at not just the Moon but also Celestia. "One represents the past, and the other the future. They both bloom in the sky but have completely different meanings behind them." The scene is always set to night, when she says this, the camera points directly at Celestia first, then cuts to the Moon, as if telling us that Celestia represents the past/Origin and the Moon the future/Destiny. We will almost certainly meet with the Sustainer of Heavenly Principles on the Moon or the Moon will reveal itself to be something crucial.
hmm but the thing is actually there is no "moon" in genshin i think those were moon sister who lived in lunar palace to me if we get to the end i feel we may go to the lunar palace and yeah all the thing will go down there
@@starlight14673 Yea according to some theories the Moon in the sky is likely "fake" and is actually a "mirror". And you know what Kiana discovered on the Moon in Honkai 3rd? She found that the "enemy" they've been fighting all along is an entity that is trying to understand the universe by being a Mirror. It has been reflecting on all the sadness and tragedy of the world, reflecting in the suffering of everyone, it is human nature itself that has "spawned" this "evil", we were our own enemies the entire time. This is a very short explanation of what it actually is, but Kiana did in fact realise and call the Cocoon of Finality a Mirror, as everyone who ever met it saw it as a mirror image of themselves, it is just trying to understand what it is experiencing by mirroring them. And by realising this fact, Kiana was finally able to become the bridge for humanity and the Cocoon to properly communicate and slowly understand each other without destroying each other.
To add to the 4th theory, it's important to note that the Traveler is quite literally cleansing the land too, in a way more peaceful manner that what the HP ever did. I've always found that quite interesting tbh; the Traveler goes around not only helping people and different species, but also cleansing the land from its corruption, dealing with “bad” groups, helping the Archons themselves and, in the last Archon Quest, even fighting off an Invader from beyond the firmament just as the Traveler themselves are. Just as you said, the Traveler's awakening seems way too perfect to be a coincidence, and the Traveler's journey seems like a test to see if they're up to the requirements to be the new Heavenly Principles; down to quite possibly having to confront their own sibling to avoid Teyvat's destruction and the god's deaths.
I just noticed that arlecchinos hands and the right hand of the heavenly principles are similar if not the same, also the portal that the heavenly principles emerged is red color similar to arlecchinos bale moon domain in her 4.6 story quest. I may be overthinking it guess ill have to wait untill we get more info for the knave. I checked again the animated short for Arlecchino, the hands are not the same but kinda similar.
I have a Theory that may explain … several things … it’s a lengthy theory, so let me just list down what it will (potentially) explain and list down the major points of my theory. Potentially Explains; 1.) Why Khaenri’ah had two curses 2.) Why Cataclysm started 3.) Why sibling isn’t a Descender 4.) What the Thrones do Theory; 1.) Khaenri’ah made a new Throne (using Abyssal Power) 2.) Throne was made to bless people of the Nation, Khaenri’ah made this Blessing “Immortality” and Abyssal Powers. 3.) The blessing backfired, the Half-Khaenri’ahns were protected by the other Thrones. 4.) Khaenri’ah Throne attacked the Nations of the other Thrones. A Continent Wide Disaster ensued. (Cataclysm) 5.) Seven Nation Thrones attack individuals from their respective Nations, if they show signs of Abyssal Power. This attack is the Curse of Wilderness, the Half-Khaenri’ahns became Hilichurls because of this. This explains how and why Hilichurls predate Cataclysm. 6.) Sibling is the Heir of Abyss Order, Heir to what else if not a Throne of the Abyss? (Since Chlothar was its founder, this would mean he discovered the Throne … is the Sinner the Throne? Or was the Sinner in possession of the Throne? Or did the Sinner show Chlothar the Throne? The Sinner is without a doubt the main inspiration of the Orders founding. So the Sinner must have some connection to the Throne.) 7.) Sibling was also the Heir to Khaenri’ah, as recognized by Chlothar. Khaenri’ah made the Throne, Abyss Order now possesses the Throne. Sibling was originally Khaenri’ah Heir for the Throne, and is now the Abyss Order Heir for the Throne. So Khaenri’ah itself has no right to claiming the Throne. (This is why our Sibling belongs to the world, they have always had an inheritance of something fundamentally belonging to the world.) 8.) Irmin Eclipse was the King of the Eclipse Dynasty to create the Throne, his “indisposed” state of being suggests that the creation of Throne took a large toll on him. Anfortas then took over as Regent, if he is an Alberich as it’s been theorized, then as far as we know, Khaenri’ah is currently in its Alberich Dynasty. This would technically make Kaeya an illegitimate successor to the Throne … so him going to the lands of Khaenri’ah are definitely not suggested since it would turn him into a Hilichurl, and cause a Nation Wide Catastrophe.
My theory and i haven't watched the video yet: The 3rd Descender will be revived with all the 7 dragon ba- I mean 7 chaos eme- I mean 7 gnosis combined with the help of the Fatui. The 3rd Descender will give info and help us in finding a way to defeat Celestia. But due to the revival of the 3rd Descender, that's when Celestia and the Heavenly Principles intervene albeit not face to face. Maybe they'll send like creatures or sky pillars that could hinder our plans (and by this point we will be with the Fatui, Abyss Order still doing stuff in the shadows, and the Traveler still broke.) My evidences and backing claims: I have none because one can only imagine.
Maybe Heavenly Principles is not defined entity but rather human understanding of percieved god doings. It could be multiple entities, that died or got too weak during Cataclysm due to their combined power weakening for one reason or another; let's say some of them died or depleted their power completely.
I subscribe to the theory that Descenders *ARE* stars. Sentient stars. All celestial beings are probably stars, in fact, seeing as our twin sibling is NOT a Descender, but fell down with us. The Traveler consistently informs people he is a star, and we first see them as stars falling to Teyvat. Razor says we smell like stars. We also see that Deshret, who could possibly have been a Descender himself, is symbolized by an 8-pointed black star. (I personally think he IS the Third Descender, but I digress) If all celestial beings are simply *stars* then what logically follows is that the Gnoses are fragments of a fallen star. What happens when you wish upon a star? The same thing that happened in Inazuma, when all the people placed their hopes and wishes upon us as we faced off against Raiden Ei. The star grants your wish. As for where the Heavenly Principles are at, they're in hibernation either in Celestia or higher up in the sky. The Second Who Came heavily weakened them, to the point that they could no longer control Teyvat's systems and needed to create the 7 Gnoses in order to maintain control.
this is good stuff. i think you should look into the gnostic creation myth, which genshin's cosmology is heavily based on. it brings up some interesting ideas about the nature of a gnosis!
The heavenly principles in teyvat remind me of the “earthbones” of Tamriel just described a little differently especially since some of them are already theorized to be dead
ok but we lack fanmade content about Jadeplume Terrorshroom or any encouragement for Hoyo to add more info on Jadeplume Terrorshroom and voice lines of characters opinions on Jadeplume Terrorshroom need more of all of that
Teyvat is in a time paradox where two different time lines were forced to collide. The loom of fate is completed which it means that our sibling can reweave ley-lines. Irminsul holds a specific functions in this regard, it has to purpose to collect data from all teyvat . To alterate the current timeline with the loom of fate someone will need to destroy irminsul causing celestial to react ?!
okay a couple of things... 1) the last time the Heavenly Princples had to deal with a Descender before the Cataclysm was *before the Archon War* because that was the 3rd Descender whose remains got turned into the Gnoses. Which was more than *3000-4000* years ago. Not ONE-thousand. 2) From the scattered notes and letters in the Khaenri'ahn facilities in the Girlde of the Sands, it is *heavily* implied that the curse(s) on the Khaenri'ahns was a result of the *Abyssal power,* NOT the Heavenly Principles. To this day the only people that tell us of being cursed *by Celestia* are the Khaenri'ahns themselves, who obviously are biased as hell because we also know that the Archons went to Khaenri'ah to try and save it, NOT to destroy it on Celestia's orders. 3) There is *not a single shred of evidence* that the Dragonspine Nail was sent there because of Abyssal Corruption. I'm not even joking. I read through (I believe) everything that has Dragonspine lore and there is not a single word that refers to or mentions anything that seems like Abyssal Corruption or Forbidden Knowledge popping up before the Nail arrived. MAYBE the only thing being the Princess being able to have premonitions or visions of the future. We know that the Nails are sent down ONLY in situations where Abyssal corruption threatens the existence of life in general on Teyvat, or more specific *human* life on the entirety of Teyvat. They seem to have a 'Goal justifies the means' mentality where as long as humanity survives in some capacity, they will sacrifice a specific civilisation if they can prevent Teyvat-wide destruction through Abyssal Corruption. We see this in the Desert of Hadramaveth and The Chasm. The Tsurumi Island nail is only SPECULATED to be an actual Nail. We don't know if it was a Nail or some other thing that messed up the timeline there especially since afawk at the moment, it should have fallen *before* the Cataclysm because the Rifthounds and Golden Wolflord only showed up then as source of Abyssal Corruption.
I am currently most inclined on something in between. They can't rise up now, but they will eventually, because let's be honest one of the archons is actively trying to depose, maybe even destroy them. They can't just wait it out.
if you've seen the gnostic chorus video, you know there is a tale of crowned heir who gets corrupted and believes she's the princess of the dark kingdom when she goes there to collect a pearl and due to this, the second crown heir has to save her. My theory is, The Sustainer of the Heavenly Principals is the first heir We know in teyvat stories are reworded to stop irminsul from hiding the truth so my idea goes Susstie is the 'princess' and she came from beyond the stars like the twins did aka 'the kingdom of light.'. In this case, celestia 'the dark kingdom since ya know, they're murking people' corrupted her and made her believe that her role was uphold Celestia's rules (hence why she believes she's the princess of the dark kingdom now in the story).
I feel like celestia doesn't just act only offensively, i highly belive that : 1- as one of the theories said :they just dont have a reason to be present , yes the abyss are planing and scheming, but that's why the archons are present, they are the front line of celestia knowing that they are obligated to protect/rule their respective nations 2- They are very aware of the tsaritsa's plan and just waiting for her plan to start: as i said earlier celestia doesn't just act offensively, one of the most prominent theory i have is that visions and gnosis are a way for celestia to keep track on what is going on in teyvat, especially considering that its very possible that the archon war was established to control the mythical beings in teyvat and give a special tools of "connection" to the victorious (aka the most dangerous by definition) not only that visions are givin to people who have drive and desires so stronge that reached the gods , aka have enough powers to make changes or at least ignite them (Excuse me for my english im still learning)
HI3 Part 2 got me thinking if/how genshin might fit into the greater honkai cosmology. What if the Cataclysm was their equivalent of an event that cast a copy of the world Teyvat is on into the Sea of Quanta. If the Heavenly Principles are the equivalent of the world's Herrcherers, the real Celestia is now cut off from this shade of Teyvat we're exploring ("The sky is fake"), and it took 500 years for the Traveler to awaken because time passed asynchronously while they found a way to send them into the bubble universe in the Sea. And Paimon is akin to a living drone that's reporting back to Celestia without her knowing (The one Melusine seeing a tether to the sky from her).
Nahida confirmed that our sibling isn't considered a descender. This is because they don't rival the will of an entire world. Edit: Fixed is into isn't because I didn't proofread.
@@anastasiahernandez6575 No nahida said ur sister is not a descender bcoz she is from teyvat.. So my theory is they killed our sibling and created gnoses with her remains for some reason and the sibling we saw was not the real one may be she was created by khaenrians to replace the dead sibling
@@Hroovy I think the abyss sibling was awake when the previous samsara cycle ended so Irminsul collected all of the data/living entities info and now sees the sibling as native to Teyvat. Traveler was still sealed away by the Unknown God at this time. Which makes me wonder yet again: how did Traveler get free in the first place? (From The Sustainer's spacial cube prison) So many questions!
@@Hroovythe decender thing is related to Wills the whole Fontaine world quest confirms that. Our Sibling clearly doesn't have all their memories or maybe this so called errosion took it. Time seems to corrupt in Teyvat thats why long lived people like the Archons each have their way of avoiding it. Sleeping, eternity etc
Well... It's only speculation, but I believe the Abyss Twin helped Khaenri'ah in some way to cause they did, and the Sustainer was trying to punish them... And, understandably, assumed the player Traveler was an accomplice. I strongly suspect the Twin did something really shady and tried to run away. But this is just speculation.
The fact that Klee's mom has to protect Teyvet from other descenders from descending into Teyvet through its border it's such a gigachad move. I wonder just how powerful is she to be able to do that. That makes me wonder if the travelers have met Alice instead of the Heavenly Principal at the border of Teyvet would the story be different from here. I mean there would be no story if Alice grants the travelers passage right away instead of stopping the travelers unlike the Heavenly Principles.
Well, that certainly explains why Alice is never where we can see her, if she is secretly the Unknown God, and is worried we might recognize her. But I like to think that Alice is a relative of Nahida, which is why Klee has those ears. Perhaps even a child of Rukkadevata and King Deshret.
@@kotarouinugami1745 There is still a high possiblity of Klee inheriting her physically trait from her dad instead of her mom and we've never really know who he is. Her dad might be a resident of Teyvet and is possibly the same race as Nahida. Her mom might not be the same race as him but she is definitely a goddess. Klee's father is still a mystery.
Epiphany moment: we are in Teyvat to finish the last samsara and destroy the world. Every cicle of samsara is "ended" in a great war with the presence of a descender. I will not explain how each cycle aligns with each descender, you all already know, my point is: there are 4 samsaras, the 4th is the last one, there will be no more Teyvat after it ends. The twins are shooting stars, which means they were wished by someone, and the other descenders also should be the same. The correct timeline's flow should be: we arrive, participate in Khaenri'ah war and end up the samsara, just like all other samsara ended, that's why the Unkown God didn't let we go away, we didn't do what we're here to do. But why? Because the god of time, an entity that seems to like humans a lot and always seems to be acting "against" the heavenly principles, did something to prevent us to participate in the war and extend this samsara, and put a little thing somehow related to her (paimon) around us, to make we meet and like this world. We are now in a kind of "suspended time" or filler episode, somewere lost in the flow of events, and that's why heavenly principles aren't acting. The fate can't be avoided, so, in the end will occur another war, and we will need to choose if we will fight against the destiny or will do what we have to do and finish the samsara.
A kingdom rules in Theyvat known as Khaenri'ah. This kingdom is ruled by King Irmin and Queen Rhine counselled by 7 wise sages. It is discovered by accident that Rhine is a dragon. Outraged by this betrayal her daughter now seen as an abomination is taken away and her mother is brutally slaughtered in front of her eyes. Irmin and Rhine are murdered by the 7 sages after refusing to reveal the secret of how to transmute the last alchemical art. This was the first cardinal sin that was committed towards Celestia for Irmin was once a god and Rhine was a primordial dragon. Once she was slaughtered a rift between the dragon's some thought this was proof that humanity could not coexist with them while others only wanted to return to their true nature as beasts. Irmins/Odin's body transmutes into a tree that possess the same ability as she had in life. The tree grows roots deep down were the memories of this vial act is transmuted into monsters and miasmas. Khaenri'ah uses this gift to it's advantage and transmutes gigantic robots using special transmutation circles with a device known as a Hypostasis. Now capable of fighting the abyssal corruption or so they believed. Celestia outraged by this atrocity sends down celestial nuclear warheads known as "celestial nails" to quell the corruption that is quickly spreading through Theyvat for they know that no technical advancement can prevail over death itself. This action is mistaken by Khaenri'ah as an attempt to wipe out it's civilization not as a means for salvation. Khaenri'ah suspects that Celestia is ruled by an alien entity and refuses to submit, they now have the gift of creating life through transmutation. This is the animation played out when artifacts are created, equipped with this gift they are now on equal footing with the gods. A giant war breaks out of who should reign over Theyvat. The war ends up fracturing the fabric of time and space. To mend this, one of the heavenly principles sacrifices herself to heal the land. The 3:th Descender. A vessel is being made to contain her body within radiating elemental energy. Theyvat cannot exist without the elemental dragons and once they were killed the damage was irreversible. With the remains of the third descender Theyvat can now exist as a microcosm within a dream. Irminsul then recreates what Theyvat used to be like including the memories of the 7 dragon sovereigns. This is what Apep refers to as "status quo" the dragons power used to stabilize Theyvat now exist within the bodies of the Descenders. She knows that her existence is a memory rather than her true self. After accepting the outcome of her fate she finally finds peace. "Foolish buer you have not existed for a fraction of what you call time" It is an interpretation of how Dante Alighieri envisioned Hell. 500 years later a young girl wakes up seeing her dead parents beside her, she swears to take revenge and so begins her long quest to rival this world and undo everything. Her real name is lost but she will be known to this world as Rhinedottir.
Alternate Theory: The Heavenly Principles are tried of cleaning up the messes of Teyvat and is willing to let the Sinner, Tsaritsa and Abyss Twin do whatever. I mean imagine creating civilization and having to stop the people from spreading the plague, creating monsters, opening holes in the sky, and then try to wage war with you. Maybe the Heavenly Principles just peaced out.
I think celestia summoned traveler and lumine but lumine after witnessing the darkness of this world may have tried to get away along with traveler that's why they stopped traveller from going away from tevyat and make them their successor or source for their power for them to retain control over tevyat
Khaenri'ah sommoned them as confirmed in the Caribert quest. Lumine didn't posess the Will strong enough so likely they were driven to this via loss, all we don't know why is they think Khaenri'ah is their homeland and are obsessed with saving it/reviving the people.
Heavenly Principles are such a non issue in the current story that anything they do with them down the line honestly won't be that grand. Genshin's story has okays ups and horrific dips in story telling quality it's just sad.
Genshi mihoyo is the true primordial one that brings balance to the world of teyvat amd will rewite its dieing history into a new much like the bible god will rewrite the worlds history and all thing will become new so the heavenly sustainer is like the arch angel that protects the lifes of teyvat by defeating outsiders i think shes in the right and i hope she and celetstia will fix things and being back all the ppl that died for the right cuase die to fighting off the evil ambitions of fools that brough about this worlds destruction
im pretty sure i somewhere in the game read that people said phanes was a lovely & positive god, meaning there might have been a time where humans and vishaps lived together peacefully so maybe the primordial one got corrupted by the 2nd descender (sustainer of heavenly principles) & only then banished khaenriah & took out the 7 sovereigns. this could mean the 3rd descender who was able to control all 7 elements (skirks information about the gnosis) tried to save or help phanes but was shattered into the 7 gnosis by the sustainer aswell hence why the tsaritsa is trying to ressurect him & all khaenrians hate the fake sky too that the evil sustainer caused. with the help of the traveler everyone together could defeat the sustainer i know some things might not add up properly since this is just what i think so far but im like 95% sure paimon is the primordial one but in a weaker form bc she is the only living being with a crown or some sort of in all of teyvat also the og genshin logo with her crown & genshin in chinese meaning "original god" so this like the truth hidden in plain sights for me
To be honest, I believe the last part. But I think that together, the travelers are so strong that celestia was afraid to face them so they decided to separate them then give them different versions of events (based on the people interacted and events that time), making them contradictory and giving both sides an equal chance (having either traveler backing them up). But really, I am just amazed by this theory. Anyways, I LOVE your theories. You are one of my favorite here, haha.❤
nope, since the heavenly princples are from outside tevyat, aka descenders (i think) they have the power to destroy tevyat easily, and i think they killed the seven sovereign or smth which means theyre stronger (someone please correct ke i think everything i saids wrong, but i do think that they are stronger)
People often equate Primordial One, Heavenly Principles and First Usurper. But what if Primordial One is "Formidable Father" to dragons, while Second Who Came is First Usurper (and also possibly Remus and Heavenly Principles)? This would certainly explain why Celestia hasn't been able to fix anything that the Primordial One and his shades have built. Even the Celestial Nails installed the wrong climate where they fell.
We only ever hear stories about forbidden knowledge causing the fall of civilizations. And we always see the same red and black cataclysm ending them. We’re led to assume these are one and the same and that the forbidden knowledge, gathered for selfish reasons, directly resulted in self-immolation. I’m not convinced these stories are completely accurate given it is told by the victors and those that took part in the destruction of khaenriah are completely closed-lipped about it. I hold open the possibility that forbidden knowledge is simply knowledge that the heavenly principles do not want anyone to know, not inherently destructive knowledge.

The Heavenly Principles choosing the traveler as a successor could be one of their plan. Paimon's programmed but unknown task could be to take the traveler to Celestia cuz of all her celestial motives she shares with the statues of the seven and everything related to celestia (divine nails), and that one melusine's description of paimon of a balloon tied to the sky despite their warped vision of the world
Since they weakened after the cataclysm, they had to cut ties with Teyvat for a while to fully recover (a star-beast literally breached the firmament and started consuming the primordial sea energy for example, why would they not intervene if this was a threat to the entirety of Teyvat?) they could look for someone to watch over the world.
@@isdrakon9802 I talked about this with someone else and in fact their original goal (through the prophecy) was to make oceanids gain their original form back between the humanoid ones in fontaine
But the prophecy only stated that "the water level of Fontaine will rise, the people will be drowned and the hydro archon will remain alone weeping on her throne"
Focalors didnt manage to stop the prophecy (she wouldn't be able to anyway it is part of Teyvat's fate, inscribed by the Heavenly Principles themselves) , but to deviate its planned consequences (humanoid oceanids turn back to their original form) by giving back the authority over hydro to neuvillette so he can make them true humans.

@@starlight14673 imagine in the end we pull up to celestia with the second and third descender after somehow getting them back
Given they the principles are asleep as confirmed by nahida, and the gamble she pulled worked.
@@TheJH1015 I thought venti and istharoth were contemporaries, not parent child
@@isdrakon9802it’s heavily implied that she’s his mother figure.
Most godly characters in almost every stories are always come late to solve the problem
Something like “Stories brought by the wind will turn into legends in due time.”
And her having “rainbow strings that reach up above the sky” probably refers to her link to the primordial one. Since Istaroth is a shade of the primordial one.
Istaroth was in the story at the same time as paimon tho. Didnt she help ei plant the sacred sakura? Unless it was a red herring it literally disproves paimon being istaroth
I love how its just like “PROPHECY, FATUI, INAZUMA DEGREES, but worse of all ZONGLI’S RETIREMENT
They are likely in a state of hibernation to recover from injuries sustained during the war with the Second Who Came, and will only move if something on par or worse than the Cataclysm happens.
I could see Venti having awakened the traveler because he felt the changes coming
The CN version heavily implies she's dead or dying, which supports Theory 1. It's in the Traveler's Lore 1, but the English version screwed it up.
EN Version:
"The keeper is fading away; the creator has not yet come.
But the world shall burn no more, for you shall ascend."
CN version, makes it abundantly clear that the "keeper" it's talking about is the Sustainer of Heavenly Principles:
"The sustainer is passing away; the creator has not yet come. But the world shall burn no more, for you shall ascend to the seat of "the god.""
If she is alive, she's probable not in the best physical condition.
Ever since the latest AQ i'm only thinking "How do the Heavenly principles just don't care about that"
I can't imagine it being such a little problem that the authority of the hydro archon was given back to the hydro dragon, Focalors killed herself and that there are no more the seven but the six.
Or both.
Yes. Sometimes it’s jarring to go from serious and adult Archon quests to Itto badly singing rock and roll with Paimon lol.

Hmm.... maybe the Hexenzirkle Witches were the ones keeping them quiet and distracted from everything going on in Teyvat. But nah, we know Alice is strong enough to just leave Teyvat as she wishes, but why would they care about the Heavenly Principles after all this time😂
Are the Heavenly Principles even an entity ? Or just a vague concept ? And are they above/prior to the Primordial one ?
For me the Heavenly Principles has to be at the Moon or is the Moon itself, could be a Moon Sister or related to them, this is because all "final bosses" and "final stages" of Hoyoverse is the Moon. And Kiana is the one character who always fulfills her Destiny at the Moon, which in this game is the Sustainer of Heavenly Principles.
In the latest Lantern Rite Xianyun looked at the Moon and says: "Fate is fickle. The cruel reality of this world is that suffering and misfortune can befall any of us without design or reason."
Hoyoverse's first game was FlyMe2TheMoon where Kiana's Destiny is to fly to the Moon, this has continued to be the case for every single Hoyoverse game with Kiana, the Moon represents Fate and Destiny itself in Hoyoverse.
I checked again the animated short for Arlecchino, the hands are not the same but kinda similar.
probably they are the same clan Crimson Moon People
I have a Theory that may explain … several things … it’s a lengthy theory, so let me just list down what it will (potentially) explain and list down the major points of my theory.
Potentially Explains;
1.) Why Khaenri’ah had two curses
2.) Why Cataclysm started
3.) Why sibling isn’t a Descender
4.) What the Thrones do
Theory;
1.) Khaenri’ah made a new Throne (using Abyssal Power)
2.) Throne was made to bless people of the Nation, Khaenri’ah made this Blessing “Immortality” and Abyssal Powers.
3.) The blessing backfired, the Half-Khaenri’ahns were protected by the other Thrones.
4.) Khaenri’ah Throne attacked the Nations of the other Thrones. A Continent Wide Disaster ensued. (Cataclysm)
5.) Seven Nation Thrones attack individuals from their respective Nations, if they show signs of Abyssal Power.
So the Sinner must have some connection to the Throne.)
7.) Sibling was also the Heir to Khaenri’ah, as recognized by Chlothar. Khaenri’ah made the Throne, Abyss Order now possesses the Throne. Sibling was originally Khaenri’ah Heir for the Throne, and is now the Abyss Order Heir for the Throne. So Khaenri’ah itself has no right to claiming the Throne. (This is why our Sibling belongs to the world, they have always had an inheritance of something fundamentally belonging to the world.)
8.) Irmin Eclipse was the King of the Eclipse Dynasty to create the Throne, his “indisposed” state of being suggests that the creation of Throne took a large toll on him.
Maybe they'll send like creatures or sky pillars that could hinder our plans (and by this point we will be with the Fatui, Abyss Order still doing stuff in the shadows, and the Traveler still broke.)
My evidences and backing claims: I have none because one can only imagine.
Reviving the 3rd Descender certainly sounds like something worth gathering the Gnoses for.
And also in line with Tsaritsa being a Goddess of Love.
Everyone asking where are the Heavenly Principles but no one asks WHEN are the Heavenly Principles
Maybe Heavenly Principles is not defined entity but rather human understanding of percieved god doings. It could be multiple entities, that died or got too weak during Cataclysm due to their combined power weakening for one reason or another; let's say some of them died or depleted their power completely.
Maybe they are just on vacation?
After 4 years, this question is still unanswered. 💀
keep talking about the heavenly principles and they boutta show up at your house to take out all that forbidden knowledge you got stored up
I subscribe to the theory that Descenders *ARE* stars. (I personally think he IS the Third Descender, but I digress)
If all celestial beings are simply *stars* then what logically follows is that the Gnoses are fragments of a fallen star.
If all descenders are stars... then Paimon is kind of confirmed to a descender since Kazuha said the Traveler AND Paimon were like the stars
I belive there's huge god of time involvement too she freed the travler from celestia and send him in perfect place and time
this is good stuff. i think you should look into the gnostic creation myth, which genshin's cosmology is heavily based on. it brings up some interesting ideas about the nature of a gnosis!
The heavenly principles in teyvat remind me of the “earthbones” of Tamriel just described a little differently especially since some of them are already theorized to be dead
ok but we lack fanmade content about Jadeplume Terrorshroom or any encouragement for Hoyo to add more info on Jadeplume Terrorshroom
and voice lines of characters opinions on Jadeplume Terrorshroom

Wait for us to awaken them once Natlan Archon quest comes lol
The third one makes sense cause the gnosis is a remnant of a descender.
Dragonspine is where Durin’s heart is, the fact Durin met its end there may be why the nail was put there.
@@alexkuhn5188 The Nail was sent to Dragonspine hundreds of years BEFORE Durin even existed.

The Heavenly Principles is out of brain juice currently.
The heavenly principles are up my a-
Noice
My best guess would be that Paimon is to a Heavenly Principle what Furina was to Focalor. A powerless puppet meant to play an important role.
I am currently most inclined on something in between. They can't rise up now, but they will eventually, because let's be honest one of the archons is actively trying to depose, maybe even destroy them. They can't just wait it out.
they're just eepy❤ snork mimimi
if you've seen the gnostic chorus video, you know there is a tale of crowned heir who gets corrupted and believes she's the princess of the dark kingdom when she goes there to collect a pearl and due to this, the second crown heir has to save her.
My theory is, The Sustainer of the Heavenly Principals is the first heir
We know in teyvat stories are reworded to stop irminsul from hiding the truth so my idea goes
Susstie is the 'princess' and she came from beyond the stars like the twins did aka 'the kingdom of light.'.
In this case, celestia 'the dark kingdom since ya know, they're murking people' corrupted her and made her believe that her role was uphold Celestia's rules (hence why she believes she's the princess of the dark kingdom now in the story).
I feel like celestia doesn't just act only offensively, i highly belive that :
1- as one of the theories said :they just dont have a reason to be present , yes the abyss are planing and scheming, but that's why the archons are present, they are the front line of celestia knowing that they are obligated to protect/rule their respective nations
2- They are very aware of the tsaritsa's plan and just waiting for her plan to start: as i said earlier celestia doesn't just act offensively, one of the most prominent theory i have is that visions and gnosis are a way for celestia to keep track on what is going on in teyvat, especially considering that its very possible that the archon war was established to control the mythical beings in teyvat and give a special tools of "connection" to the victorious (aka the most dangerous by definition) not only that visions are givin to people who have drive and desires so stronge that reached the gods , aka have enough powers to make changes or at least ignite them
(Excuse me for my english im still learning)
They will be so mad when they found out that they traded gnosis and every single one is with tarstia but the Pryo gnosis
Its the Samara, it seems similar to the loop of the world Sa created with the kids would destroy the world when calling for a miracle with the Keys.
Aster talk about the dead third descender and it might be our sibling who can resonate with all elements of teyvat like the gnosis
@@Hroovy I had a typo and noticed just now.
Are the other sovereign dragons alive i’m so exited If I see the Electro one
This might be unrelated, but do we know why the twins were stopped by the sustainer while trying to leave in the beginning of the game??😅
Or she wishes to revive the 3rd descender
Hah, I'm getting Furina vibes from your voice :)
3:14 - 5:43 This theory seems like mostly likely to be true 😮😮
Is there a chance the heavenly principles are Aeons?
Hey when lumine ride that robot
I mean like fr what’s going on with HP 🧐
_Why_ are the Heavenly Principles?
I won't judge it that quickly we have three more nations to go for .
@@Anna-sd4zl Is the last one Celestia or Khaenriah?

REAL
Genshi mihoyo is the true primordial one that brings balance to the world of teyvat amd will rewite its dieing history into a new much like the bible god will rewrite the worlds history and all thing will become new so the heavenly sustainer is like the arch angel that protects the lifes of teyvat by defeating outsiders i think shes in the right and i hope she and celetstia will fix things and being back all the ppl that died for the right cuase die to fighting off the evil ambitions of fools that brough about this worlds destruction
6:49 - 8:30 That would be boing
The heavenly principles are as follows:
-Be gay
-Do crime
-Don’t try to become as strong as Celestia because if you do, you’re gonna have a bad time
Regarding the first point
Wtf 💀
@@blaze8308 it’s the “be gay do crime” thing. LOL

im pretty sure i somewhere in the game read that people said phanes was a lovely & positive god, meaning there might have been a time where humans and vishaps lived together peacefully
so maybe the primordial one got corrupted by the 2nd descender (sustainer of heavenly principles) & only then banished khaenriah & took out the 7 sovereigns.
this could mean the 3rd descender who was able to control all 7 elements (skirks information about the gnosis) tried to save or help phanes but was shattered into the 7 gnosis by the sustainer aswell hence why the tsaritsa is trying to ressurect him & all khaenrians hate the fake sky too that the evil sustainer caused. with the help of the traveler everyone together could defeat the sustainer
i know some things might not add up properly since this is just what i think so far
but im like 95% sure paimon is the primordial one but in a weaker form bc she is the only living being with a crown or some sort of in all of teyvat
also the og genshin logo with her crown & genshin in chinese meaning "original god" so this like the truth hidden in plain sights for me
To be honest, I believe the last part.
Is the Neuvillette stronger than the heavenly principals ?
nope, since the heavenly princples are from outside tevyat, aka descenders (i think) they have the power to destroy tevyat easily, and i think they killed the seven sovereign or smth which means theyre stronger (someone please correct ke i think everything i saids wrong, but i do think that they are stronger)
Neuvillette is Lesser Sovereign, even the first hydro sovereign got clapped by heavenly principles.. I don't think neuvillette can

Bruh where yall be getting all this damn info from?😂

Maybe the Heavenly Principles are dead lol.
