Had mine 3 months now and love it, slightly less recoil and way better trigger. Not a single hiccup and eats everything. My 5th m@p purchase not counting shield and ez380. I have one of the original in .357 sig, 9mm performance center core, two other 9mm m@,p's. Trigger is even better than the performance center pistol. Not a single problem using factory plates with my holosun 507
M&P's all over the place right now with the rebates. Shield Plus is a great carry gun and the new metal stuff is awesome. New 2.0 'tactical' line with OR/high sights/threaded are awesome in 10mm and 45.
Another very nicely done video. Thank you. My very sweaty hands need additional permanent grip stippling higher up on the frame for my support-hand thumb drumstick. On the polymer-framed guns, this was a simple matter for me to address, but not so much on this new alloy-framed model. Personally, I want / require an ambidextrous manual thumb safety option (AMTS) option on all of my striker-fired pistols. So, money aside, as it appears at present, this new metal alloy-framed pistol just isn't for me. Good things! 👍
Smith is completely going away from old trigger , selling off guns with old trigger at steep discounts even pc series. Improved sear in all m&p pistol line . Just attended a Smith and Wesson event recently and rep confirmed all positive changes and sell off of old models with hinged trigger. K
Those plastic plates are useless! The red dot will just fly off after a few rounds! The machined aluminum plates from another vendor is an absolute requirement.
This may sound silly but it looks cheap TO ME. The color and finish of the gun makes it look like a cheap low grade metal. I know it's not but it looks low quality to me.
Nice in depth review of the 2.0 Metal. Highly considering getting one of these. Have a compact with the new trigger and I love it.

Really great gun❤
Very good review, thank you!
Rented one at my local range a couple months ago. Very nice pistol.
A metal shield plus would be interesting.
It's called the CSX
It’s coming confirmed
@@Blankford777 CSX is a different gun it's a single-action hammer fired and much smaller
@@Blankford777 😂
That would be interesting!

I will confirm that Dave , just purchased 45 with threaded barrel OR and new shield plus or . Awesome pistols .
Thank you for the review. At my dealers today. Hoping to pick it up!
Thank you.
You can dust the grips with sand paper to make it doesn't rub you to death
Beautiful grouping. I'm not a fan of plastic frame guns. I'm glad they came out with a metal frame one.
I wear an XL tig glove and the large back strap feels like it was made just for me.

Hello Mr. Hammer,
Great review love the color and concept. Hoping on Compact Model maybe.
Be well
Looks snappy. What type of ammo was that? I’ve heard it has more recoil than the polymer version.
Thank you.
They need to do a compact metal frame
Is that plate on top where you mount optics plastic? Seriously a metal gun with a polimer plate? Makes no sence to me
👍👍🇺🇸 thanks for the review!
Thank you.

And it only took them about twenty five years to realize it.
Never cared for that hinged trigger.

Can you buy a metal optics plate? Plastic plate looks ridiculous
I live in Commiefornia...I won't be seeing these guns on the shelf anytime soon.
Sad what’s happened to so many states of this once great nation.
I believe that "law" is in the process of being overturned
😢😢😢
Don't forget about the state of Oregon..
👍
Nice but no thanks because of price.

I just think most S&W autos are ugly.
You actually believe that Glock handguns look any better..🤔
If this was ugly for you, I wonder what you thought about Glocks.
They are but the bullets don't care.
