i don't see the point of the Meatcrafter at this point... the 7" Magnacut Fishcrafter at that price point essentially makes even the most high end Meatcrafter obsolete
well, I think the direction BM was going is Magnacut holds better to corrosion than the other steels they use for their other Meatcrafters (154CM, etc).
I don’t think flimsy is a very good word to describe the blade. There is a good amount of bend enough to easily lay flat on the cutting board wail removing skin. It is more robust than your standard fillet knife. My rapala knife has far more bend and feels flimsy in comparison.
@@michaelbarrett8803 I think BM is trying to make it all about the buying experience. Personally I love a good presentation if I’m spending high dollar.
Do both knives have the same amount of flex or is the smaller one more flexible?
Have you tried this knife on other meats other than fish? Would it perform well trimming a pork butt and cutting brisket?
Just used last weekend trimming fat off brisket and worked like a champ 🏆
@@ggtacticalandoutdoors perfect! Now just need to save haha Thanks again for the info.

Yeah I meant flexible not flimsy. You want some bend in a fillet knife
Who cares about the packaging
