The mystery car at 00:25:35 is a replica of a 1936 Mercedes 500K Marlena and was built in the USA by a company called "Classic Roadsters" (now defunct). It's based on a Ford Mustang II chassis and was converted to right hand drive by the current owners in 2020.
Thanks for posting. Although, not sure if your narration may have become out of sync with the video from about 13 mins in. You were sometimes talking about cars we weren't seeing on screen?
The video and audio were recorded on the same device. Sometimes, it just goes out of sync. There really isn't anything that can be done about it, unfortunately, without having to take the video down and spending ages trying to correct it. Bearing in mind the title of the video, I have just left it, as I would also lose all the comments, etc, if I did, and this sort of thing just happens from time to time.
What a amazing shuffle Sir, very chaotic. Favourites from this shuffle has to be the Candy Red Hot Rod style Minor, 406 Coupe. I think the Mark 4 Escort was a XR3i going by the alloys. A beautifal looking Smart Roadster, maybe a car for me to try or own in 2025. Do love the Traction Engines, I think the Smell evokes memories of local shows near me in the Scottish Borders. A fantastic shuffle even if it was chaotic in nature.
Thank you, Mr Watters! Probably the most chaotic of the Slightly Shambolic Shuffles. The next two videos were much calmer. The Smart Roadster was a very unexpected surprise. I knew someone would know about the Mark IV Escort!
Well Joseph that was chaotic but some good finds the Lanchester a real treat they were so well made and the Cornish was like my uncle Billys I must say I was surprised by how many people were their well done you navigating through it all best regards Andy Allen.
Sir, we enjoyed the Corniche, and the Lanchester was most unexpected. It was a bit of an ordeal, but we made it through, and continued on for two more videos yesterday as well.
The Citroen DS at 2:41 is still one of the most alluring cars. I cannot say the same about the pink Cadillac but it's certainly gobsmacking, a term that I would not insult the Citroen with. (I thought of "Cadillac" by The Clash: "My baby drove up in a brand new Cadillac Yes, she did My baby drove up in a brand new Cadillac She said, "Hey, come here, daddy" I ain't never comin' back." Now this was more my cup of tea 4:15, Morris Minor with a split screen. The same goes for the Austin A30 5:30. They are "cuddly". I agree with your comment about the Bedford van 6:16: "Absolutely nothing....but wonderful at the same time.". Ah, at last, the beauty of Jaguar 25:05. You know, if I owned such a lovely car I would be scared of it being damaged there by the sheer crush of people. Later you showed an obviously very valuable Rolls Royce exposed to that gigantic rugby scrum. No way would I consider that sensible. I have to compliment you for braving that mayhem. Frankly, I think it was very unsafe.
Sir, if you felt unsafe watching, I can assure you it was rather more perilous in real life... The Bedford CA van was actually marvellous, as was the pink Cadillac!
(Sir - Unless I am mistaken - the audio is mismatched to the video around the 9:54 mark onwards to the end of the video. This may be causing some of the heckling in the comments regarding your classic car knowledge. The audio appears to be about 15 seconds ahead of the video.) Goodness me, sir. You couldn't even really call it organized chaos. Drive it and abandon it where you like! Still, it's very nice to see such interest in our beloved classic cars. If you lived in Wickham though...good Lord....
As I used the same device for the audio and video, it wasn't a question of a deliberate.mistake, sometimes this sort of thing just happens and there isn't anything that can be done about it.
@@lloydvehicleconsulting Certainly, sir. We are all beholden to finicky electronics sometimes. I just wanted to reassure those hearing you talk about one car while a different one appears on screen, that this was indeed not deliberate or evidence of vague knowledge!
