I use Clairol's Shimmer Lights once a month on my silver hair. A year ago my skin became very dry on my face. I switched to Neutrogena gel moisturizer. Within a few days my face returned to my normal smooth skin. I have been using it ever since.

I've tried various eyebrow pencils and I always return to the Benefit brand. Glides on, lasts all day. I highly recommend it.
I love the NYX brow gel. I think I started using it after you mentioned. I love it. I’ll have to try the Merit. I miss the glossier brow gel in the original formula.

My favorite Trader Joe's skincare product is the Nourish Facial Cleanser. I've repurchased it many times.
XO Happy🐰& Sunday. I love Fanola purple shampoo. I mix a drop in my Haielle during regular wash days or on its own 1x a month. I also love Fanola Foam conditioner. It’s a better option for dry/damaged hair or to use more regularly as it won’t deposit or stain hair. It’s just the right amount of purple to cut the yellow & make grays ✨ sparkle. I love the TJ hand & body lotion .. for hands 💜

Tamara I use a sunscreen for my face that also has lettering and images that rub off when you touch it with hands covered in their product. I took clear wide packing tape and cover the container right when I get it. For the longest time I could not figure out why I kept getting weird flakes in black and gold on my face. The tape protects it from my hands now. I also keep a clean old jar from something else and decant into it for travel.
Happy Easter. Enjoyed your empties and always honest. I like Drybar purple shampoo for blonde hair. I usually use the timeless vitamin C but Dr. Bonner vitamin C and the Glowmaker. 😊😊

What are some if your favorite pumpkin enzyme masks?
I have sensitive skin so I think it would be a good option for me
The only two pumpkin enzyme masks I have are DRMTLGY and Bay Harbor Beauty. I enjoy them both, but of the two, the BHB is a bit more gentle. Its always a good idea to do a patch test and start with just leaving it on for a few minutes and build up from there. And make sure you skip other actives that day such as Retinols or Vitamin C. If your skin can't tolerate a mask, you could also consider a gentle exfoliating toner or serum rather than an actual mask...a couple super gentle ones are Maysama ABP1+ Green Rooibos Gentle Resurfacing Toner or The Ordinary 5% or 10% Lactic Acid serums. Hope this helps!

As for the Tatcha sunscreen, I'm in the minority who found that sunscreen overhyped and way overpriced. Not only it was a greasy mess ,but the silicones made my face super itchy and blotchy. Hello fellow MN! I like Trader Joe's maracula oil. I have traveled with Timeless Vit C in February with a bottle purchased Black Friday without incident. I'm happy to hear they changed the packaging but I honestly never had an issue and I ordered different sizes and strengths over the last two years. You look beautiful in gray BTW.

Thanks for this video. I use Shu Uemura Yubi Blonde Anti-brass Purple Shampoo. It’s not drying and leaves my hair so soft. It is Japanese brand and a bit pricey but lasts forever. Very pigmented

Yes it was long but
so well worth it. The products you recommend are not too expensive also. You covered all the bases with skin care and make up, supplements. I have many products to finish, but I will try a few of your recommendations. I have Vit. C but I don't use it as it irritates my skin, and it looks it. I do use serum (drmtlgy needle-less serum). I also use D3/K2 together as you do. My favorite Trader Joe product is Spa Natural facial cleansing pads with tea tree oil. My face looks beautiful when I wake up. It cleans well without drying out my skin. (I wish I could look like that all day, HA!). I like Elta MD, tinted, spf 44 facial sunscreen but the it can be messy to use. I'm using Drmtlgy sunscreen right now which I like. It's so helpful when you explain the ingredients that goes into many of them. You are the best! (When you fly overseas I bet it's hard to decide which skin care products to take!).
I did have my Timeless vit c leak but it was on the plastic pump bottle, there was always a mess of vit c on the tray where I keep my skin care. I found the new glass container to be much better,

Tamara, Sorry to hear about your issue with the leaking Timeless. I've gone through at least 10 or 12 of their Vitamin C + and have never had that problem.
Ok at Trader Joe's. The oatmeal exfoliant almond ginger scent bar soap. This is one of my top favorite soaps. I'm kinda a bar soap freak. I try lots . This is so nice! I tried the butter cream, not a repurchase for me, but I use the alpha skin care lotion every day

Have you ever tried the DHC cleansing oil? I was amazed that i didn't need a second cleanse it rinsed so clean. Also, the smell is like rosemary and very spalike.
I have...and it is lovely for sure. But a bit more expensive than the Hada Labo. I sometimes pick up the DHS when I find it on sale. It's a good one!
I purchased the small Timeless 20% in the 0.5oz pump for my month in Italy last fall. Did not have any issues with leaking. I did carry-on for my luggage and maybe it makes a difference in whether it leaks, being it’s inside a pressurized cabin. And the half ounce lasted the entire month.

If only I could remember to keep my empties instead of recycling them, I could do an empties video too, lol! Lots of great products and love your honesty about products that don't work out for your skin type. I love the Maybelline Sky High as well and too funny I just talked about the Sephora taupe pencil in the video I filmed yesterday, bought it from your recommendation and absolutely love it! Right?! Shimmer Taupe is absolutely perfect. And I think you would LOVE the Tarte Tinted Hydrator...they now have a glow version which I am curious about...but can't imagine how they could improve on the original. Would be a fun comparison though! Have a great week Mel! ❤️

My body skin was pretty neglected over the winter and had gotten quite crepey and rough textured. The DRMTLGY lotion just really smoothed it out and made if feel silky soft and smooth. It is moisturizing but not SUPER emollient...and I do enjoy the feeling of a rich body butter so I use the DRMTLGY once a day in the evening and a richer body butter once a day in the morning.

I have to strongly agree with the vanicream ceramide moisturizer. It is my favorite, even over expensive department store brands. It does not have petroleum. It soaks right in. I use it on my eyes.

Hi Tamara, I use a few a of the same products as you. Glad you discovered the Coconut Body Butter from TJ ‘s, it’s so good ! I really like the Kosas Concealer, but the 2nd tube I bought wasn’t working out, seemed thicker. Anyway, I’m on the hunt for a new concealer. Most days I can get by with the Bobby Brown color corrector. Have you every tried out the Maelove Vitamin C Serum ? Very affordable. I had to give up on the Timeless Vitamin C, because it seemed to go bad too quickly, and was staining my hands unless I really scrubbed them good afterwards. I know, weird. Took me a while to figure out what was going on. Thanks for catching us up on your empties. Of course, things I’ll be checking out. Not sure about using the green tea before my red light. I love the Sukoyaka Suhada moisturizing lotion and love it with a spare already on hand. have you tried The Ordinary natural moisturizing factors+phytoceramides hydration formula? It is so very emollient, it would probably be wonderful on your dry skin, a little goes a long way and the price is great.
I actually just picked up the Ordinary Natural Factors...very nice, especially for winter!

Tam, a little off topic, but, do you recommend face shaving? I just noticed in certain light that I have a good amt peach fuzz 🤨 but grew up with the ‘ never shave your face!’ warning - I’ll ask my aesthetician but curious if you think it’s a good idea .
I LOVE shaving my face! It makes a huge difference in the way my skin looks and feels to not have that peach fuzz catching on makeup and showing up in the sunlight. Good question! Please forgive me for getting on my soapbox for just a moment LOL....I always use a stand alone SPF under all my skin tints and foundations, even the ones with so called SPF. You just can't apply enough to get sun protection from cosmetics. And the Tarte Tinted moisturizer doesn't have any sun filters or SPF. The tint on the DRMTLGY Physical is just a tad too deep for me in the winter...sometimes I mix it with the Broad Spectrum untinted though many people say do not mix SPFS, but I feel ok about it. Lately I have been more into lightly tinted or untinted SPFs...and the Color Science literally disappears into my skin. The Color Science packaging is also more portable and easier for travel. But they all have a place in my ever growing SPF "wardrobe" ...I collect SPFs like some creators collect foundations LOL.

Tamara, Big Sexy Hair also has a Root Pump *Plus Humidity Resistant* mousse and, for me, it is far superior to the original. I get more lift at the root with this - about twice as much as the original. Have a wonderful day!

I did have two DRMTLGY SPFs in my last empties, but because I test so many SPF for SPF round up videos it takes me a long time to use up any one sunscreen. I just purchased 10 new SPFs a month or so ago for two SPF videos i have coming up...one will be on Asian SPFs and one is on Mineral SPFs...stay tuned. 😘

Timeless and Drmtly both use the L-ascorbic acid form of vitamin C. Do you know anything about the THD ascorbate used in Peter Thomas Roth's and Sunday Riley's products? They are so expensive, and I wonder if the THD ascorbate form of vitamin C is worth that cost?
L-ascorbic acid is the most studied form of topical Vitamin C and it is my preferred form of vitamin c. For those who can't tolerate L-Acorbic Acid, THD is the one of the best Vitamin C "deravitives"...also it has a longer shelf life which is a plus.

They are Neon Pothos...super easy to grow! They can tend to trail and get leggy, which can be nice, but I like to keep them trimmed and bushy.
