Be cautious with any teas without milk whilst fasted (empty stomach). I took strong tea (with milk) first thing for years and couldn't live without it, however, I learned that the proteins in milk prevent the body from absorbing the antioxidants and catechins from milk - thus milk negating the positive effects - so I started having it 'neat'. The downside to having tea with no milk on an empty stomach is nausea. For a few weeks, I was sick in the mornings and couldn't figure out why, until I did the research! Thanks, Thomas, great video as always...

I bought my spinach, teas and roots while everyone was wiping out the paper towel section. you should clean your insides before you clean your outsides.

Antioxidants can be a double-edged sword though. Sometimes, your immune cells need to create reactive oxygen species (ROS) to kill pathogens. However, too much ROS can harm our own cells.

I drink Matcha Lattes on the regular...3 or 4 times a week. I use carton coconut milk or I'll make my own hemp milk & use it. In a tall glass I dissolve the matcha powder (1 tsp) in hot water first & I use raw honey (very little, like a half a tsp), doesn't take much of the powder or the honey because they're both pretty strong. Once I get the two dissolved well, I add any 3/4 c. cold water...add ice & then top it off with the coconut or hemp milk. I know honey isn't considered keto but I've been trying to get off the artificial sweeteners & sugar substitutes & using more natural sweeteners like maple syrup & coconut sugar. I love the monkfruit but not in my budget currently.

So I have a few questions: 1. Dark chocolate sweetened with stevia is ok? Dark chocolate without any sweetener is so bitter! 2. Some other video talked about checking the origin of green tea and make sure it’s not from an area that exposed to nuclear radiation, is that a real concern? 3. What about berries other than blueberry and strawberry? Mixed berries juice is good too?

So I did order the matcha from your recommendation awhile back and I notice it has 20g of carbs for one packet.
So on the keto diet, aren’t you supposed to only have 20-30 carbs per day? I just thought that was high, so I’d like to know if that matters? Or is it just because the matcha is good for you? Love your videos and your knowledge about all the foods you talk about.
Thank you for all you do TDL

Hey Thomas, you forgot about astaxanthin, which is the most powerful antioxidant in the world. I'm talking about natural extracted astaxanthin. And the best fact is that it cannot become pro-oxidant in the body, like other antioxidant supplements, due to it's chemical formula. If you have time I would really appreciate if you can make a video about astaxanthin. Thank you!

Hey there,Thomas! Thank you for another great video. I eat blackberries because I can pick them wild when in season, thereby avoiding pesticides in commercially grown blackberries. After watching your video, I looked around UA-cam to see how blackberries stack up against strawberries and blueberries. Unless the sources I found are incorrect, it appears that blackberries are far, far superior in antioxidants than both strawberries and blueberries. Blackberries are also highly competitive with regard to fiber than either strawberries and blueberries. And, the sugar content is the same as srawberries. Also, I don't have a pesticide-free resource for strawberries and blueberries and cannot afford organic. Can you please give us your opinion/findings on blackberries? Much appreciated. Also, cannot find an online chart for FRAP scores. Where can I find this?

@Thomas I have a question that I cannot find any information for on the internet. It is in regards to prolonged fast 72 hours along with a 5 day cleanser. Or could you cleanse then fast, fast then cleanse, do them both at the same time, or is that crazy and dangerous? Your thoughts would be appreciated.Sincerely Jeff (38 Yr old male Jax FL) Thanks for all you info buddy!

Great discussion with Ben Azadi the other day Thomas Delauer. I've just gotten my mother onto an easy keto lifestyle and she says she feels amazing. I've got her following you, Ben, Dr's Eckberg, Berg, Maggs and Z etc. But she loved your video with Ben, I think she's about fallen in love with you lol. Your lucky we're over the pond here in the UK, as you might be facing a stalker.... Although with the extra energy she's feeling right now, I wouldn't be surprised if she doesn't try to swim the Atlantic...... She's 73 BTW 😉

Good stuff though, I like time relevant content.
I wonder if you can comment on the novel phenomena of 1) COVID-19 randomly having dramatic effect on some young healthy people and not others, and 2) the seemingly (anecdotally) miraculous treatment of some cases with Hydroxychloroquine.

Hi thomas , Great content man! It would be cool if you spoke about black seed oil. I'm not sure if you're aware of this but it has medicinal effects have been commonly used as treatment for a variety of health conditions pertaining to the respiratory system, digestive tract, kidney and liver functions, cardiovascular system, and immune system support, as well as for general well-being. This info was referenced from the links below.
    Primary sources are key !
"Cell culture studies and animal models have indicated several therapeutic potentials, such as anti-cancer [5, 7-9], antimicrobial [10, 11], analgesic [12, 13], antipyretic [14], contraceptive and anti-fertility, anti-oxytocic [3], anti-tussive [15], anti-inflammatory [12, 16], and anti-oxidant [17-19] potentials, for black seed and its active component TQ. NS or TQ anticancer activity has been demonstrated for blood, breast, colon, pancreatic, liver, lung, fibrosarcoma, prostate, and cervix cancer cell lines and in animal models of lung, kidney, skin, colon, and breast cancer [7]"

Was studying up on egcg last night. Looks like egcg and quercetin can be a zinc ionophore. The zinc can get into the cell and turn off the copy machine (as described) that the covid-19 uses to replicate itself. Maybe something you could help research. I am currently taking egcg and quercetin with zinc supplement and so the zinc doesn't make me deficient in cooper I'm taking a cooper ion. Welcome anybody's feed back

jeff hruska you’re on the money... The Virus enters the cell via a vesicle called an endosome. Once inside, it releases an enzyme called 3CL (3-chymotrypsin-like protease). This enzyme attacks the cells’ defence mechanism ‘immune system’ against the virus inhibitors.”
This is why they say immuno compromised/infants/elderly are more susceptible.
Vitamin C dosing/Matcha green tea/Japanese versions are suggested to destroy the 3CL and thus protect the cell’s ability to protect itself against the virus. The best for destroying 3CL is quercetin and epigallocatechin 3 gallate (EGCG), which are found in green tea..
I also might add that glutathione is another good immune system supporter to take along with the other stuff mentioned.

what is your thought on drinking quinine found in canada dry. tonic and limes . the british navy used this hundreds of years ago to treat malaria. reports from texas nurses saying they are using tonic water to treat the virus and its working! also zinc tablets 100mg a day, depending on the study is effective up to 99% as antiviral. especially against colon cancer.
