- When you’re watching a TV show, there might be multiple characters that you like, but there will always be one that you love the most. For Heartland, the longest-running Canadian comedy-drama, we cannot tell who this character could be. Perhaps, people could easily say it’s Ty Borden, but since he is gone, it has to be someone else. We love and enjoy Amy, but that doesn’t change the fact that she is boring. So, in our opinion, the best character in Heartland is Georgie Fleming, as she has the best story and character development.

Jack is the heart of this show

I love Heartland and have from the beginning. The core cast is incredible. I can’t wait to be able to see season 16 in the US. I hope Heartland continues for many more seasons.

Yup, Georgie is a stand-out character. I remember the first words out of the character's mouth were, "I'm not afraid," when Jack told her she must be afraid and that was the reason she had been mute when the Bartlett/Fleming family was asking her why she ran away and who was her family.
I would say Alisha is ready to make major motion pictures. She is a great actress.
You play the script your given. Amy is a wonder person.a great example for young people to follow. She displays no bad examples. Is dedicated to her family and her career.
This is a family show. If you came frome a large family you realize your more apt to give others a chance to be different then you in personality. You make it blend without realizing your bending and giving acceptance to their differences. Not so quick to judge. More able to shrug your shoulder, saying "that's just the way they are."
You didn't need to critize Amy, to praise Georgie. Both have pretty neat personalities. NC
Amy is not boring she makes that show without her the show wouldn't be anything. Ty definitely is missed in this show. Georgie creates a lot of drama on that show
I like the old Georgie better. I love all the actors! Any is awesome!
That’s kind of harsh to say that Amy is boring. I think that Amber Marshall is one of the most effusive actors on television. She doesn’t overplay anything and instills in her character a wisdom and a patience that I’ve actually personally tried to model at times.

You say Amber Marshall is boring lol she's the whole focal point of the show and nit only that but she's a creative producer also.
@@kenmack158 LOL when a British cooking show beats you in ratings well id say that's boring. My opinion is when it comes to Marshall or Morgan they both should stick to acting and leave the directing and producing up to the professionals.

It's Jack. Obviously and they are killing him off as he is leaving the show. It will be difficult to imagine the show will continue much longer after that. Season 16 may be the second last season of Heartland. It took me a couple of years to finally decide to watch this amazing show. Once I started I was completely hooked.
Next Season . On Heartland Series 13th Should Have Been The Ended Of On Heartland Series With The Borden Family Living Happy Ever After For A Lifetime In Their New House Watching Lindy Growing Up Together And Ty And Amy Sitting On Their Front Porch Drinking Coffee And Watching Lindy Playing In Their Front Yard Until The End! Love Story! Legacy ! ❤

I have to agree with one thing added. The whole show got boring around season 11 for some reason. The whole cast come off to me as a bunch of amateur kids in a grade school play. It was like the writers brains checked out and went MIA. Wife is a die hard fan of the show and even she agrees. Maybe Newton and Wardle saw this as well and that's the reason they left. Their investors have to be on edge about all the millions they are losing. Wouldn't surprise me if season 16 IS the last. Not wishing anyone any bad karma but they did fall from #10 to #34 in ratings. They were even beat by a British cooking show. LOL That's BAD!

Commentator is making really amateur comments. May be a fan of the show, but not a professional in the tv broadcast business. Labeling Amy as boring, and saying Georgie’s makeup looks professionally done when she’s a professional actress. Really inane.
My mom has watched each season 30 times over. I sometimes watch it with her when I come over. It's not thst bad. I've watched it enough to know I can't stand Jack's oldest daughter. I cringe everytime I see her in a scene and talks. I just can't help it. Other then her, it's a "nice" Canadian series.

Not sure I would say Amy is boring but rather the writer's especially Heather Conkie is creating a Amy that is no longer like the old Amy of seasons 1- 13! Get Amy back to what Amy did in years past(liberty work, clinics, the odd cattle drive, working with Lyndy on barrel racing, saving wild horses etc) .This garbage Amy needs a man is really getting ridiculous! Look at almost all the episodes since Graham's departure! They are dull or the people arguing, or someone getting hurt, sadness or Lisa is off with her horse leaving Jack by himself or Lou and her ridiculous being Mayor. A strike at Maggie's by 12 year olds! Really is that what we want to watch?? Bring back the true family scenes, suppers around the dining table, scenes within the barn area and Maggie's! Just bring back scenes a entire family of "all ages" can sit around the living room on a Sunday evening and enjoy and laugh! Just saying!

You lost me on Amy is boring! There is a no more boring and annoying character than Georgie. She is a colossal show off.
Giorgie is not my favorite her character is annoying, all she ever does is do what she is not suppose to do and her 1 line she says over and over every single episode is "I'm sorry, I'm sooooo sorry" or Good Boy, tired of her
