- Georgie was one of my favorite characters in Heartland, but sadly, Alisha Newton left Heartland. She's been focusing herself lately, and now she has a new show on Netflix. I guess she wants to add different shows and characters to her portfolio, but I hope she'll return to Heartland even for a short scene. Now let's see what she's been doing lately, shall we?

The very best on heartland she now has a new series starting on Netflix hope hope Graham gets back to acting also heartland is not the good series it once was it’s getting to be a soap opera 3:33

No offense, but you didn't pay very close attention to her Instagram. She has said in an IG that she misses working, but hasn't been able to due to the strikes. Which hints that she hasn't been filming anything at all as a result.. Which I have a feeling probably effected her on Heartland. Just a few weeks before they started filming Season 17 Alisha Newton had dinner with Michelle Morgan (Lou) and Heartlands script supervisor. It's very possible she was going to make a cameo appearance, but the strike probably got in the way of that. I know the strikes were in the U.S. and not Canada. But it's possible she could have opted out of filming out of support to the actors guilds in the States. The cast even refrained from posting much Behind the Scenes photos for the exact reason. Actual Behind The Scenes pictures didn't finally start coming out until the strike ended. Which was well after filming ended. I wouldn't say... "She's not coming back" unless she has actually come out and said she's not publicly. She's not a main character anymore. Doesn't mean she won't pop in as a cameo.

@@1fame It was... I wish I could remember which one. It was either the last one she did, or the one before. And no problem. I miss her on the show too. I wouldn't look too much into the fact she's not mentioned. She wasn't mentioned much in Season 15 either. Only time she was really mentioned by any significance was when Lou and Peter told Katie they were going to take a trip to Florida to tell Georgie they were back together. She was mentioned a lot more in Season 16, but that was mainly because she was set to be in the last couple episodes, and had that accident which was significant to Lou going to Florida, opening the door for Michelle to go on maternity leave.
I just never liked her TBH !!!!!!!!
