I chuckle at how many defendants seem to think that once they're served with papers to come to court they can't contact the plaintiff and settle out of court. Of course, those defendants who DO realize they can settle often don't wind up on The People's Court.

The Plaintiff reminded me of that one time some random woman who approached me, but she was kind enough not to interrupt my conversation with my friend, and when I turned my attention towards her I asked her what she needed help with, she responded "Hi can you speak English?", I was so caught off guard as I gave her a weird look and responded "You obviously knew I just spoke to you in English, plus you stood there while I was still talking to him(my friend), in English". She said because of the area she wasn't sure if people spoke English, and I was like "Madam, I get that your not from around here, but don't assume, people will think your a bigot.". She gave me an evil look and than cat-walked away in her stiletto's. My friend and I didn't even talked about the encounter till like 3 years later when a similar situation reminded us about it.

While I appreciate the upload, this does not compare to the ultimate tree trimming case on PC, perhaps others remember it.
The arborist was bilking both female neighbors, JJ empowered the women to not allow him to do that, they were quite conciliatory to each other in the courtroom, hugged in the exit interview, that got back to JM so she appeared wanting to get in on the hugs, then the two litigants left arm in arm!
First and only time I think Doug was dumbfounded (I believe it was during the Doug Llewellyn days) it was one of the best episodes I've seen on PC!

First tye defendant knew already so she could've just paid but second the defendant isn't the type of person you can talk too. With her attitude and down talk (about the fence) she would definitely not make it easy. I wonder if the defendant is the type of person who complains that nobody ever just discusses things with her instead of admitting that she can be a difficult person and then working on that.

I can tell the Defendant is the problem. The amount of times she rolled her eyes, spoke over the judge, insulted the plaintiff, & was utterly unreasonable demonstrates that. The fact that plaintiff even let the Defendant’s tree cover up half the side of her house for that long without saying anything, shows that she is a reasonable & even kind person. Defendant just comes off like a jerk. Then, she thinks the Plaintiff has to hire her people to fix it? Ridiculous. And so what if the plaintiff’s fence was cheap. It doesn’t matter. It’s HER fence, and the people YOU hired damaged it, so YOU & THEY are responsible for fixing HER fence. And you don’t get to decide how it’s going to be done, she does. So glad the plaintiff won!

The terrible woman is too stingy to cough up a measly 150 bucks fo fix the fence because (a) the fence is not good enough for her (b) she has a relative who will do an el cheapo job to fix it (although he hadn't bothered to do it). Her el cheapo solution is the "third world kind of job" that she thinks she is too good for. She gets continuous complaints about things because she doesn't do the right thing. I bet the reason the fence got damaged is because she employed an el cheapo contractor.

the plaintiff is nuts, didnt talk to the men cutting the tree?
but took pictures of the truck?
didnt talk to the defendant but knew what the defendant was thinking just by telepathy?
knew the tree men didnt speak english without talking to them.
    yeah, right

      @sandwichman100 2 роки тому

well, the defendant is the ying to the plaintiffs yang
      made for each other
her story is just as bad as the plaintiffs
$150 seems really reasonable to me
      just pay it!

150.00 dollars, and the plaintiff has an attitude, surely is argumentive and shows her hostilities.

Do you mean the defendant? She's the argumentative one with attitude. I'm glad I don't live beside her.

Not being rude, but that’s one ugly “fence”! It looks like the type that’s around junk yards.

Honestly she didn't want to deal with the defendents bad ratchet put off seeming attitude that's why she just sued. Like you know the ppl messed it up give her the number or the money and stfu 🙄.

I was just waiting on one of the litigants to pull the "I'm a Christian " card. As nice- nasty as these two (especially the plaintiff) were, I was expecting that card to be played and a 10 pound cross around their necks? ✝️

5:10 Judge Milian: Do you think I'd assume that because they were gardeners that they were Hispanic?!?! I mean, what the heck?!?!
"Hey Judge Marilyn, what actor would play you in a film about your life?"
    Judge Milian: Mariska Hargitay

I think she sued the defendant and didn’t tell the tree people as get back from being irritated by the tree. She had the people who did it right there.

Stop copy-pasting this to every video. If you have something meaningful to say, say it, but your copy-pasting of the EXACT same message in every episode shows you can't even put in the effort to type in something original.
