technoblades story is one of pain,he never meant to hurt anyone but people kept crossing lines and threatening the one person he really cared about,so he killed and pillaged without mercy
"i hope your homes continue to smolder" isnt really him being harsh,its a warning so his enemies know to stay down because he doesnt want to kill anymore
even though the voices haunt him and he carries the weight of his sins techno never wanted any of this,he wanted freedom and you cant have freedom with governments...he isnt a hero and he never claimed to be,so his enemies can begone or techno will have to speak in the language of war once more
I mean... He kind of is a hero, even if he didn't choose too be. At the very least he is an anti-hero
He very clearly is doing what he believes too be the right way too make people have more freedom, and has taken down willingly very bad things(or at least that were corrupt) Heck he has even fully struggled against the trials that come with the turf.

If you play this on 1.25 and Mizz Fish's version at normal, you can get it lined up perfectly at the original cadence. Alternatively, this one at its normal and Mizz Fish's at .8 (you can custom playback speed apparently) gives them perfectly lined up at this cadence. Both sound awesome :)
And yes...I actually went through and figured both out cause I saw a comment about playing both at the same time and wanted to see if I could line them up.

This is so amazing I can't stop listening to it. Imagine this but with like music in the background specifically drums that grow in intensity in the more well intense parts and are at the most intense at the very end. Like war drums.
Totallly using this song in my dnd campaign for the basis of the main empire. A not-yet king who wanted his people safe from the warlords, so he made a deal. Centuries pass and the being comes to call on the debt with the current king, a direct spitting image of the first.

What you do is you take the original, and slow it down (custom settings) to .8, which aligns it with this one.
or you take this and speed it up to 1.25
either way, layer them on top of each other and you got a good chorus.
No hate to the original singer, but I can finally sing in a pitch that my voice is comfortable with. Being a girl with a deep voice does have its moments where you want to join in the song.
I love it both ways (tbh can’t stop listening to either 😁)
