What I like most about him is, of course, how accurate his robot mode is, but especially how Devastator's head comes through the cab like in the movie. I appreciate that minor detail so much that I don't at all mind having to remove the whole front for it. My parents offered to buy me the original RotF Devastator when I was a kid, but I never wanted it. I REALLY wanted the Legends Class Devastator, but we never found it in any stores here in Hawai'i. I'm a little disappointed that they're putting such tremendous detail into the action figures and finally making characters who were never released only now that I'm an adult, but nonetheless, it's actually kind of nice to feel the excitement that I would have felt as a kid.
That is so relatable. Except that my parents rarely offered to buy me Transformers 🙃
I also always wanted the legends Devastator, but even a few years ago before the start of the Studio Series line, it cost half a grand online and the older toys were all discontinued in all my local stores, and -since my parents are extremely cheap,- I kinda forgot about it.
I can see how much my younger self would’ve loved the newer toys, but then again, my younger self also probably would’ve broken them *(among the dozens of older Transformers I bought back in the day, only like 6 of them aren’t frickin torn apart 🥲)* and since I’m now more of a collector, at the same time I’m kinda glad they came out later
I didn't I missed a step going to vehicle mode with the lower part of the drum. Thank you for being one of the few reviewers that transforms ALL modes!
16:50 I think the fanstoys Menasor and Superion will be hard to beat quite honestly. They've been absolutely nailing every figure as of late
You’ve reviewed the legends devastator which has a legends mixmaster which technically you’ve reviewed a mixmaster figure one other time
I REALLY wished that Mix Master had one more hinge on his long shoulders, so he can do that pose where his arms/mixer parts sort of shield his body. The wide-ness is really pushing me away, despite me really wanting him at first

If that pose is all your missing you really won’t regret him he’s by far the most imposing looking one pictures don’t do justice

Yeah they couldve took a little bit of inspiration from the OG toy that didn't have wide arms
I got him recently for my birthday. Hes always been my favorite constructicon.
Hey Paul, since you've never done a review for the Mixmaster from the ROTF toyline, can you do on in the future now that you've done one for this Mixmaster?
I think he cares too much about his sanity to touch that monster. I think we can all safely say that it has been replaced by this superior mould.

I just now realize that the did a fantastic jod with the Devastator Head, where they did a cool thing to put the cab part on the mixer drum, to make it look like Devastator head was hiding inside the drum, just like the previous version did

I know how you feel about third party figures but there will be a third party "masterpiece" set of constructicons, known as Devil Savior.
I thought this was fun to transform. Watching someone else do it, it’s kind of a mess.

I own the G1-colored version of the original Voyager Mixmaster, and I definitely agree it was kind of crazy to transform, but either way I enjoyed that figure quite a bit. This Studio Series version is quite an upgrade from the original ROTF toys, and I cannot wait to get it, along with the rest of the Constructicons.

Optibotimus you are awesome! I had no idea the top of the mixing drums had their own movable joints. Mine were insanely stiff, and I thought them solid, with a up/down movement. I was afraid if I pushed harder it would break.
For someone who cannot see the instructions very well anymore thanks for the videos. The aid in some odd parts of transformation are so much help!
And the missing part on the lower drum of the post holes......I dunno if I am well I am just blind with the instructions. THANKS!
Funny thing is that there is a 3rd party company called Devil Saviour making masterpiece movie constructions to combine to make Devestator and they look fantastic😍

You know, I never had the intentions in buying the Studio Series Constructicons. I just didn't really have any interests in them. But now, after your Mixmaster review, I want to get them all and combine then into Devastator. So I'll be looking for this guy and his other devastating companions of Decepticon massive destruction.

Very nice new Mixmaster in the Studio Series! I still have the ROTF version and yes, he's a difficult Transformer to transform, I didn't even bother with his cannon mode, we see him transform into this mode briefly in the movie anyway, we don't really need it for this toy. And he really does look good in all modes, can't wait to get this guy, I've started to see Rampage in stores now, hope I won't need to wait too long to find the other Constructicons! Great review as always, Paul!
Well...I do love the alt (vehicle) mode..
Hardly anyone has mentioned the small pegs on the hips that slide into groves on the arms. PrimeVsPrime was one of the few that have. It's hard to see but it's part of the combination mode.
When i get this, im def gonna see if i can cut his jaw in half, detach it, and turn its connections into separate ball joints.

i have found a fan mode for Mixmaster for cannon mode created by me but i dont no how to share it to you but i can say have him in robot mode and then check out a picture of the devil savior DS-1 Split's cannon mode and then just take the arm configurations from that design and then just transform the legs of Mixmaster to its truck mode configuration then fold the knee up

Optibotimus, at Devastator head, you attached front vehicle part on the wrong side. There are two pits, but the pits attach reverse, if you know what I mean
