The ROTF Constructicons are some of the only Bay movie designs I love with no reservations or caveats cuz they go full-on weird and wild, and I've generally been pretty glad with Hasbro's new figures of them. This guy looks pretty nice. Obviously he's too small, but unless Hasbro introduced Commander class to the movie line, I don't think they _could_ have truly done him justice size-wise. There are a couple other quibbles I have with him, but other than that, he looks like a pretty nice figure of a pretty nice and weird design.
Yeah, most of the bayformers are humanoid with massively deformed faces. The constructicons, however, just throw logic out the window. Chaos is the name of their game. They make it look good.
Really should've came with a stand, like Rampage did. I hate having to rely on his arms to get him to stand. They made the same mistake with the original voyager figure. Lack of a stand really limits the amount of poseability. Third party companies, *please* make a stand for this guy.
He absolutely should have come with a stand, but I have found that if you fold out half of each set of treads and reconnect the bottom wheel, they can act as a sort of stand. still pretty wobbly but if you lack a 3rd party stand it's your best bet
If they did one for dreadwing or starscream I'll litually give them all of my money. I believe that starscream is based on the f-16 fighting falcon or the f-5 freedom fighter. Dreadwing is if I'm right, he is either the f-35 lightning or a modified f-22 raptor. They are both one of my favourite decepticons in the prime series.
I'm sorry, but the reason I watch your videos is because I like them. I think you're a really good content creator, and I share your appreciation of Transformers.
Basically this is how it went- demolisher was a spare part if not an extra part of devastator, he was the one to die if and if you look closely (not really) demolisher and scavenger are different different in color as demolisher is white and red scavenger is just red
I Fricking love this guy so much! The only thing that sucks, at least with mine, is that they used the same finger pieces on both hands, and now it can’t clip in properly, and the shovel in vehicle mode looks even weirder then it already does
I think the Devastator mode is the focal point of the Studio Series line, because we already got individual non-combiners when the original Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen toyline came out. Sure we also got 2 Devastators then, a supreme class and a mini class version, but those figures only had vehicle modes, no individual robot modes. So with the release of the Studio Series line, now that Transformers engineering has been improved over the years, they finally have gotten the chance to make a product that’s able to reflect all three modes for each constructicon. As for the RotF movie, the reason we see multiple constructicons die before they combine into devastator is due to the fact that there are multiples of each constructicon, just like at the end of the third, fourth, and fifth transformers movies, we see multiple decepticons that share the same forms. It’s a budget thing that the movie producers have done in order to get many characters onto the screen without having to individually design each one, it’s just a copy & paste scheme, but it works because every iteration of transformers including G1 and the Original 1986 Movie had clone Decepticons.
The decepticon at the start of the (ROTF) movie was Demolisher not scavenger. One is white and the other red respectively. In the movies there are several decepticons with the same body types that can each form the various parts of Devastator in case any of the members are destroyed. We may be getting some of these "clones" in the studio series so you can mix and match. I believe skipjack is being released next (yellow rampage).
Love your content, sir. Thought I'd share some info on this guy to help with posing. Open the bottom Tire and extend one set of tank treads. Close the tire and rotate the tread to the very back. In this configuration he will stand independently without help from his arms or a stand. Keep up the Fantastic work.
The only clones were mixmaster, longhaul, and scrapper and they died and trench is scrapper well if you check out trans theories video constructicon mistconceptions 2.0 then youll know
Scavenger/Demolishor here is a Terex O&K RH400 excavator, one of the biggest mining machines ever built, it could crush a building! Good thing it's a Leader class, the original ROTF Devastator toy has a huge Scavenger among them, even bigger then Leader class (but I would have to compare both to be sure), and he didn't have a robot mode. This is one of the things that caused confusion in the movie, it seems like there were double Constructicons, some that had individual robot modes, and the others that assembled to make Devastator, except for Scavenger, his counterpart Demolishor is the one that got blasted by Prime at the beginning of the movie, it would have more sense to make other robots to create Devastator and separate Decepticons that went into battle in Egypt against the Autobots and human friends. One thing's for sure, Scavenger is certainly one of the weirdest Decepticons that we've ever seen, with a strange robot mode! And looks like Studio Series Devastator is going to be far superior to the combiner Devastator we got in 2009, which I still have, but won't have any electronics like the old one. Awesome review, Paul!
His vehicle mode is what's called a powershovel. These massive excavators are used in strip mining operations to load ore and topsoil into those equally massive dump trucks.
the voyager Scavenger has a better transformation and result in my opinion. Even though the arms can't articulate that well, the wheels can turn around and it doesn't matter, it works just fine. It feels good to transform that version, while this one that you show us there looks kinda... weird. Without trying to be offensive, the wheels kinda come out of his inner side and that's really weird
Honestly I've never seen you this confused by a transformation. And the guy that Optimus killed was Demolishor, a white version of Scavenger. Yeah, I was confused too.
Im relativelynew to the Bay Transformers and the Studio series in general. Can any of you enlighten me on how many of these Constructicons are needed to create devastator? How many are available to get now and how many are still to be released? Any help appreciated. Till all are one.
Brad Skilton there are 6 available now which are Scavenger, mixmaster, long haul, Rampage, Hightower and Scrapmetal The ones we are still waiting for are scrapper and overload So basically we need 7 to complete devastator
Hey Man I'm a long time can since your dotm reviews, I have a question: does the Dotm leader class ironhide scale well with the last knight voyage class optimus cuz I'm trying to get an ironhide but I have never bought a leader class. I really want a perfect ironhide to scale well. Love your vids😀
I think you have Mixmaster and scavenger combined wrong. Mixmaster Wheels have to go on that bar. That is on scavenger. And then click it into those two times.
Awesome figure!! I want to ask you about third party figures. Some of them are awesome and look more accurate to their movie counterpart that the official toys, but are they legal?

Scavenger is leader class and scrapmetal, hightower are deluxes. Long haul and rampage are voyagers. So theres your prices
They really needed repainted Scavenger as Demolisher
there were like seven different sets of constructicons in the movie
The constructicons have clones and prime killed the clone
No, the clone can’t transform, that was demolisher at the beginning. This is scavenger
Good figure but still no where near the devil saviour version. Now that is the most screen accurate and absolutely superb
A shame they didn't have the bottom tire have two flip out points to make a stand.

Martin's Cars, Trucks, & Racing Games O&K and Terex share similar vehicles of RH400 excavator, but different licenses.
