Changing Majors in College | UC Davis

- Well this is a vlog I've been meaning to do for quite a while. When I applied to UC Davis I was accepted as a Computer Science and Engineering major, however I parted from that path almost a year ago. I decided to change college majors, and pursue my degree in Cinema and Digital Media and a minor in Chemistry. So now my time in Davis is spent with those classes. Anyway, this is just a quick vlog explaining that process and why you might change majors in college, or already are changing them!

I have been a college professor, and I think you should save your money on more important things. School is great, and it will school you too.

High five nerdfighter!! btw I'm entering college this fall and i've just submitted my major changing application (yeah, i changed major even before entering college...and it's an inter-school change) It's kind of a big decision and i hope that goes well.... ugh, i have no idea about college😂

Thank you for the video! I hope this major brings you far. I hope I don't want to transfer out of CSCE, I'm still working on TAG'ing in, but this shows me its okay and its not the end of the world if I don't stick with engineering. Does UC Davis have internship fairs and career expos for non stem?

Do you think it would be difficult to switch your major from mathematics to Computer science? I'm transferring this fall.
Thank you! I called a couple weeks ago, and they said that it would be possible to switch as long as I have the prerequisites done, and they wished me luck cause apparently enrollment is the hard part aha.
Aden Ghadimi were you successfully able to change ur major to CS? How hard was it because I have heard they only have limited seats?
