- Swami Sarvapriyananda, Minister-in-charge, Vedanta Society of New York conducts a session on Aparokshanubhuti- one of Shankaracharya's Prakarana Granthas in the afternoon session of the first day of the Spiritual Retreat at Ramakrishna Kutir, Almora on 18th May 2024 as part of the Concluding Ceremony of the 125th Anniversary Celebrations of the Return of Swami Vivekananda from the West & Foundation of Ramakrishna Mission.

Why should we assume that we have free will when we know it is an illusion. Does not vedanta insist that we should always stick to the truth? The example of the cow tied by a rope is misleading. Either we have free will, or we don't. There is no such thing as little free will.
