However, General Zia’s assassination open the doors for the two thieving political parties Nawaz sharif’s PMLN and Benazir’s PPP to take over and loot the country’s wealth throughout the 1990s - wealth which was laundered to Uk to purchase Avenfield apartments in London and other properties and businesses in America and Switzerland. The 1980s was the best time to live in Pakistan as the country was heading in the right direction while the youth was full of opportunities and hope for the future.
