There’s so many good oils. There’s oils like mint and lavender that’s been said to increase the lengthy of anagen cycle. There’s oils for prepooing, oils for sealing in leave ins and moisture. There’s oils that’s ok for the scalp. Oils that’s good for the hair strands. Do some research and experiment with them. Do patch test with them. Some work differently on dry hair than wet hair. Some work differently in different weathers. Everybody will have a different reaction. Most of us have different lives. Some of us work out a lot and need to clean our scalp more. Some of us don’t work out and sweat as much and can stretch out the time to clean our scalp. You have to know your own hair and lifestyle and adjust to get the most out of your self care regimen.

If you add the Amla powder to your deep conditioner. Don't you first mix it with a little bit of water? Or is this not necessary?

My husband has had an inflamed scalp for 10 yrs. He's lost a lot of hair and each strand is getting so thin and tiny, and there are a lot less of them. Will this help, or just further the inflammation?

Just a suggestion… Try a honey and red onion mask a couple times a week… Chop about a quarter of a red onion (yes, it needs to be a red onion, has more of the beneficial nutrients/antioxidants)… cover the pieces in a bowl/cup with raw honey… not too deep, just enough to cover the pieces… Cover the bowl and let it sit for at least 4+ hours… I’ve done overnight and a day+ but I don’t know if there’s an exact/optimal time… When ready to apply, drain the honey from the bowl into a separate container (it will be more liquid) and rub on scalp… let sit for 15 to 30 minutes-ish (again, not an exact measurement, find what works for you)… shampoo afterward… idk if just rinsing with water would work… If you look up red onion, they have a lot of anti-inflammatory and anti-other things benefits… Hope that helps him 💛
