Pastor Wesley is truly gifted. Sitting hear listening and began to smile. He went from pound cake to a powerful word. What a way to preach the Gospel. Bless you Sir.
So you’re proving that you don’t fully study the scripture or have misinterpretation of scripture… Jesus called the fish a “whale”… in the gospel of Matthew 12:40 KJV…
I respect this man but when it comes to hebrew definitions , he needs to be educated. The word fish in thr book of jonah, has the exact meaning on 1:17 and 2:10. There is no feminine definition in the hebrew for that word bro. So get it straight and dont try to fool people with your apparent knowledge of the hebrew language.
The derivatives of this root are much more common: The masculine noun דג (dag) and the feminine noun דגה (daga) both meaning fish (literally "the multitudinous"). Fish were caught with spears (Job 41:7), hooks (Isaiah 9:8) or nets (Habakkuk 1:15), but only fish with fins and scales could be eaten (Leviticus 11:9-12).
