Calling that “space because of zone” when the area in front of Bateman doesn’t have anyone within a 10 yard radius is wild. Fitzpatrick is behind Bateman and just continued running his route basically.
What does that mean? The point? Were other receivers open, on the 3 td passes, other than the guys he threw to? That someone else was open other than the intended target on a throw, doesn't automatically make it a bad throw.
Just mentioned it because there was a blown coverage that left Ricard all alone. Completely fine with the read. Lamar is an excellent passer. Just unfortunate there was a miscommunication.
@@RYANRIPKENMEDIA Ricard came free late....lamar was already in passing motion as Ricard breaks...if Bateman finish his route he may have scored if Tynan males his block on the cornerback
Bateman was wide open. That corner was dropping off. You can actually see when Lamar made the decision to throw, he sees the corner signal across the field and starts dropping back, Lamar goes into his throwing motion immediately and Bateman just stops despite the field being wide open in front of him.

Timing patterns the qb has already let it go. I don’t trust bateman mentally
Genuine amateur insights. I haven't heard Bateman say whether he would do it the same way given the chance. No fault here, why search for some?
TE was wide open on Lamar's left . Lamar missed it
The fullback opened up after the ball was gone....Bateman gotta run the full route
Also TE might not be in the read progression. They read certain plays and which sequence one gets checked.

4 interceptions, 37 tds, and 3 rushing tds. Who cares.
Because we're not winning in the playoffs without LJ playing perfect. He has to outplay our coaching. So the details matter
